- Tractor buckets are very usefully but they have a limitation when moving long or loose material. Alec shows his very handy tractor bucket attachment for loading and moving logs or brush.

Love this guy! He is the type that will get the job done...period. Excellent, and if I could weld that is exactly what I'd build.
Wow, thanks! I love welding, grinding and finding new ways to make my day easier.

Great stuff. A lot better quality than what I see for 400 bucks online
Couldn't agree more, custom fit and fun to make. Thanks Matt.
Thanks,
Nice , simple design. A lot of other channel’s videos are about selling stuff, you can do without.
Everyone thinks they can Not do without grapples now.
When my Dad passed, not being of clear mind,I let a lot of His genius homemade tractor attachment go. I did not realize their worth. I do Not remember Him buying anything, He did not rework to perform better.
I find myself making the same things over again.
I am always looking out for
Discarded steel for projects.
My forks are made from rebar I had around.
I don't sell anything, its sharing and for fun. Glad you like it Michael.

As much I appreciate all of your video's, it would be great to see you using "things". Such as this video's bucket attachment. The ranger lights, from the previous video I watched and so on. Now, I understand that you and Kevin wouldn't have all day to record everything. Being that (I'm sure) you're both busy men... Either way I'll keep watching and living vicariously at the ranch, through you! Take care Mr. Alec.
We do try to use the subject of my videos but if you look closely at the end, it started raining. Kevin gets all jumpy about getting his video camera and lights wet! The horse hay feeder we dragged around and in others we try to show and use it but sometimes, we just run inside. Take care Tim.
@@AlecPeirceAtTheRanch Yes, sir. It's a bit funny that right after I'd sent my last message, the next 3 video's you did demonstrations of the subject... I also hope you know that in no way was I trying to be critical nor condescending. I very much appreciate your mechanical aptitude and enjoy your video's.
By the way, thank you for taking the time to respond to all of your "commenters". Very classy!
Looks awesome. Great video.
Thanks for watching.
Alec
Fantastic video! Thank you Sir for sharing your knowledge.
Again, thank you.
Thanks for watching Ted.
Alec
Brilliant design I will be copying your design to a t thanks
Please do!

That's a great project done well
It has been real handy around the ranch.
A
Great idea!
Glad you think so!
A
thanks for sharing, good video.
Thanks for watching!
well done sir!!
Thank you, this has been very handy around the ranch.
A.
I can see how that would be very handy, I think I will see about making one for my little tractor.
Please do and if you have ideas for improvements, let me know as I may add them to mine. Good luck.
This was pretty neat Alec, and as a former MIG, MAG, TIG and stick welder. It sure looks like you did a good job... But I wonder, do not these type of tractors come with interchangable buckets?
Sure. At a cost Tom.
And for some reason if the tractor and/or bucket is painted JD green, the cost is very high.
Besides, I like building things.
I have another neat project along these lines that I hope to have ready for a video soon.
You'll like it.
Take care.
Alec
This is much better than the clamp on forks. My clamp on Titan Forks keep coming off of the Bucket.
Yup, that's why I like how this setup stays on even when backing away from a load.
I may mod my clamp on forks to work the same
Nce! I myself am in process of building one of these, similar design.
Go for it!
ha, i had no idea you did farm work, i follow your scuba channel but also have a tractor so looking for ways to deal with horse manure
I have 2 horses, a mule, chickens, 2 cats, 1 dog and a very hard working wife! Hope you find some of my ranch videos to help with your problems.
A
Good idea. Tough part--bending steel to fit the bucket. What's the trick or tools to use in bending?
Heat! And if that doesn't work, heat!!
This is one of those times when I'm glad to have an oxy-acetylene torch.
Oh, and a big hammer too.
Alec
@@AlecPeirceAtTheRanch Oh, give me a brake, please!
You should patent this!
I'm sure someone has. Just glad to share it with others to help make their chores easer.
A.
Norm McDonald's dad? :D
I wish, Norm is a funny guy, I'm an Old Funny Guy.
