Nice one Rick! Fun to watch you paint on this leisurely Saturday morning. I also stopped by to say, the article in Watercolor Mag. was just excellent! Congrats on that! I paint a lot of vignettes so negative spacial relationships are something I enjoy in my work as well. It was neat to read your thoughts and learn more about you.

Hi Steve, Thanks for taking the time to share your comments! I appreciate it! Too often I think negative spatial relationships are overlooked. I enjoy exploring the space between as much as the positive elements of a subject. I must say you have a great channel with an incredible library of videos for people to watch. Much respect!!!

Beautiful, as always. The middle ground part reminded me that I don’t pay enough attention to where layers should be placed, the colours used, and when to let them mingle and when to dry the paper. This tutorial was a valuable lesson, thank you.

Hi Rick, Thank you for another great tutorial. I've been sketching outdoors a lot this year and this video (along with many of your other videos) help me flesh out my sketches in my studio (kitchen). Northern Ontario has about a million grassy inlets and I thank you kindly for teaching me different techniques to capture its' colour, texture, and beauty. Have a fun
    day.

Loved watching you paint. I always learn something new. Also it’s great to see another of my favorite RUclips artists comment on your video. Can’t wait to try these techniques on a painting..
It’s also great to see a artist that likes a clean pallet. So many never clean their pallets. I guess I’m a little OCD. Have a great day.

Beautiful. Makes me want to be there with a cane rod and some dries. A sandwich and ale would make it better. My wife by my side would make it perfect but that can't be. I buried my Judy seven months ago. She would have loved this painting. So do I. Beautiful! Thank you for letting me see it Rick.

Hi Rick, may I ask please, if that is a plastic or porcelain pallet you're using there? Thanks for the great paintings and tips.
