It's nice to see how the legendary Downfall track is built up on the 707 and the mighty 303. Kudos to you, ducktronic. The original has some compression applied to it, probably due to stone age "mastering" prior to vinyl pressing but I also hear some random crowd noises on that original. It seems like Armando recorded Downfall live in the Chicago's Warehouse. Armando RIP.
Thank you Juan! I could not hear a crowd yet. But there are many different releases of the song and therefore everything sounds a bit different. Depending on how it was digitized and how fast the record was played and so on. But for jamming it should be enough 👍😉
@@DuckTronic WBMX Chicago FM in full force. Thanks for your effort, Ducktronic, it's very much appreciated. It takes me all the way back to 1988 in the Warehouse on South Jefferson Street in the windy city. If I may be blunt, do a similar video on Land of Confusion with a Martin Luther King speech running in the background.
you are a genius Ducktronic Thanks to you I am learning about this fantastic instrument that I love more and more. Thanks for this video always well done and well explained. N 1 👍
Brilliant work & judging from your other playlists an obvious ear for some of the original acid classics. I've spent years with precious little musical theory knowledge trying to dissect all production elements & complete arrangement for the following track that remains a strong favourite acid techno classic of mine from back in the early 90's (Unknown Structure - Helixcoid - 1993) Incidentally, it featured in almost all my DJ Sets back then despite the crazy tempo fluctuations throughout. It never failed to separate the hardcore from the foot tappers out on the dance floor. (Happy memories...) At the grand old age of 47 I have just treated myself to a TD-3 & RD-6 to willingly enter the rabbit hole of acid creation so to speak & It would be amazing if you could work your magic on this particular track helping me finally unpick it once & for all. Hopefully I'm not alone in my appreciation. Many Thanks & keep up the great work.
Hey DUCKTRONIC, interested in making a dnb track? GEST - Inertia has some nice 303 sounds. Love your channel, I'am currently thinking of getting a TD-3 just because of your channel haha
Incredible as usual! You've got the perfect hear man!! But how do you do to recognize each note so easily?? It looks so difficult for me when I hear a track. But i am not a musician 😄 You must be one!
I can't give away my secrets. 😉 I put the track in the timeline of my DAW, then adjust the tempo, pick out one or more good parts and then go through each note step. The waveform shows you how long the notes are. 👍
Any way you could do Alter Ego by Duke Dumont?? Absolutely one of my favorite club songs! However you might have to show it in a different key in order not to get demonitized.
@@DuckTronic thank you i have since found the notes and spaces for main section when i get a chance i will add them here for anyone that may want to play about with it looking back its quite an easy one to re make
Brother hope you re OK?! Found an old school track, and knowing your acid mind, I am sure you will have fun re-creating it: Humanoid Cry Baby (1989). Ready for that?!
Ah some 303 belch and 707 thump on a Friday. Lovely.
Haha... yes, you could call it that. Thanks Alex! 😅
Classic track from the Acid House legend!
Sometimes less is more, amazing how its made just with 2 pieces of gear! I hope for new stuff in the future! 🙏🏻❤
Armando - Pleasure dome A Classic!
Absolutely perfect, I was expecting this initiative. It is always approximate, but this is perfection.

My favourite episode so far. I listen to it very often. You're the best! I wish I could have your 303 skills and master the acid.
More than a classic :-) I could dance all day long at street on that pattern

SOUNDS perfect 🔊🔊

Thank you Nathan! Helixcoid is already in progress. But it will take a little while until the video is ready. 👍
Madonna 303 - Acid Religion
Heard it on some Autechre mix, the acid bassline is crazy
Fantastic Job as always🙂👍
Hope you ok Ducktronic ? You've been a bit quiet
Great dude !!
You really need to tackle Armando's baseline for "Pleasuredome" .... I'll bet that would be a big challenge
Thanks! I will try 👍
many thanks for another great patch tutorial!
First, but i whish i was the 303rd 😁Good job again.
thanks for sharing
Thank you Kai! It's not quite your style, but you probably recreated the pattern in your studio anyway. 🎛😉
Hey can you do one on "dry ray" by lausen? You make this all look so easy and its such a sic track! Thank you!
Thank you Martin! I will have a look at it! 👍
GEIIIIL
Hye Duck, you miss to my 303 patterns 🤪
Bravo.
how do you align the tempo knob on the tb-303 so that the tempo of the bassline matches the BPM of the track?
The instruments are synchronized via DIN sync.

Sauber mein Freund
YEAH YEAH YEAH
Nice video as always! Btw, can you make a tutorial on the 303 patterns from ,,Bass and Acid" by Zatox?
Thank you very much! I'll listen to that when I get a chance. Unfortunately I can't make any new videos at the moment. Maybe next summer again. 👍
Many thanks, I am learning a lot from your videos!!! Hope we can get the 303 patterns from "Asbestos In Obserics" (Hardfloor) please
Thanks Ramón! When I have time, I'll take a look at it! 👍
Nice !! it would also be great to recreate the 808 and 303 patterns from No Way Back by Adonis ! ;)
Great track! When I have time, I'll give it a try. 👍
You should try to recreate the tb 303 pattern from charanjit singhs raga bhairav
If I have time, I'd be happy to try!
#VivaAcid
Mike Poynter - Elysium Groove next pls???
If I have time, I'd be happy to try! 👍
