- Keeping moisture out of the chassis of your Automower is a very important part of keeping your Automower running and mowing like it should. In this video we show you a 430XH that had to have the main board replaced because of corrosion and damaged components on the main board that occurred because moisture found it's way into the mower. So how did the moisture get into this mower? In this case water came in through the grommets at the front of the mower where the headlight and charging plate wires enter the mower's lower chassis. As you'll see in this video it is VERY evident where the water came in and the evidence that proves that 2 of the 3 rubber grommets/plug were not installed correctly at some point and allowed water to enter the mower's chassis.

Thanks for the great video!! Will have to flip "Moe Mow" over on his back and check the grommets out. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks for a very educational experience
Thanks for taking the time to watch and to comment! We appreciate it
I’ve a four year old 315x that looks like it needs a main board. Amazed these boards aren’t waterproofed from the factory. These automowers definitely don’t represent value for money. I’ve replaced a faulty wheel motor, a battery and now need to do a main board.
hi, was this covered under warranty?
Hi, just replaced the motherboard and now showing as invalid device 505… can you help?
Main boards are not programmed ahead of time because they are used in multiple models. The board has to have the software programmed by a dealer after it is installed
Is the main board where firmware updates are kept too. Recently had firmware update and mower now won't stay in charging station. Can this be reset or rolled back?
Nope. Just need to figure out which component is causing the error. Here's our video about that issue incase you didn't see it yet. ruclips.net/video/Ux_zt4X1CFU/видео.html
