Every Caucasian Australian is an illegal immigrant, not sure the aboriginal peoples had the same opportunity to subject white settlers to such immigration rigor.
If these videos teach you anything, it’s to never break under questionning, and clear your phone’s history. The irish guy, sure, but the french wwoffer seems to have simply misunderstood a fairly arbitrary rule of cutting lawns vs walking dogs.
Yes. They can do that without a warrant. That's why you're supposed to have a clean phone with you just in case the border patrol officers take your phone away.
_Au pair_ is (and has been for decades) one of the most used methods used by french girls to go study english abroad….so there’s absolutely no way the french woman didn’t know the difference between that and wwoofing - and which documents are required for each. That alone makes it obvious that she’s lying to their faces.
I appreciate the serious approach that Australia takes with their immigration policies to protect their citizens and laws. Wish my country (USA) took our laws as seriously!
Australia has more overstaying US citizen illegals than Asian illegals according to an Australian friend. US charges $160 to apply for a tourist visa and $500 to apply for a Parole Visa (2 years with work permit) and that money is not refunded if the visa is turned down. When I went to the US consulate for a notarization, a Nicaraguan friend watched four other Nicaraguans get turned down in a row. Mexico at that time was requiring the the same investigation as the US for visas, but didn't charge for visas.
Her visa was issued under the conditions she would submit that homework (as it’s a major and integral part of the study program the visa is attached to). Just showing up in class is not enough to keep the visa. That’s not how student visas work.
If she maintained her enrollment, then it wouldn't have been a problem. Many people from non-first world countries try to enter first world country through student visa. Those people would work and try to get a permanent residence status or apply for asylum. It can be a major problem.
In my opinion the immigration department should be able to make applicable visa adjustments as necessary when there are significant relations to somebody in Australia rather than detaining and sending back on next flight.
I have just one question for the irish guy why he didnt get the tourist work visa its offered to all commonwealth countries, you can work and visit the country for a year?
Absolutely shocking that they can just go through your phone or computer! This is only allowed in Europe if you are a known criminal, and/or have already been caught smuggling drugs, illegal money etc, and there still has to be a court order first!
Are you surprised by how often travellers break visa rules?
Yes

When people laugh a lot while being asked non-funny questions, that's a red flag! I see it a LOT in these episodes.

They should keep silent and not answer any questions from the agents
Then they get refused entry.

I don't think Ireland is in the Commonwealth.
@@alexhoffmann8881Irish no need apply visitor visa like poor countries ,maybe he wants to work for holiday cost there only
Actually it is not offered to all commonwealth countries, but it is also more limiting as to what jobs you can do and more expensive.
he's too old to do WHV
He should be an actor
Is border security real in real life?
Called a visa run 🏃♀️.... do it in asia all the time
