Also sailing in August into September. Buffets are great for taking small, sample sized tastes of many items. Or having a mound of fruit with your oats in the morning. @LocalCharleston, this was a very helpful review. Thank you for focusing some on the veg*n section!
They have recently changed the dinner buffet. I think when you were filming this, they were doing a test of reduced food in the buffet because they had a lot of waste, but I think they’ve gone back to the full buffet because of all the complaints.
Thank you for sharing your video on Celebrity and offering your observations. It's been awhile since I've cruised this line (15 years) but I remembered the lunch menu never changed when I was on the Eclipse and I distinctively recalled certain stations empty during dinner so it sounds like some business practices haven't changed. Each cruise line has their strengths / weaknesses and I appreciate you sharing your views.

We are sailing on the Equinox in September and we recently watched some other cruisers' videos showing that Celebrity had drastically changed their buffet options as of the new year and a lot of customers were not happy. Your video shows that Celebrity has heard these complaints and possibly tried to bring back a full breakfast and lunch buffet like they used to have. I would love to know how you liked the meals in the main dining room for dinner. Thanks again for posting!😊
Excellent video with a very thorough look at the buffet. Being celiac I appreciate that you mentioned a few gluten-free things. I like the placards, but could see that not all of them had all the information. We will be on the Equinox (again) in a couple months so looking forward to an enjoyable gluten-free cruise! Dinner buffet... who does a dinner buffet? Go eat in the main dining room. The food there was excellent last time we were on the Equinox. The lack of food at the dinner buffet suggests that they do not get many people there for dinner.
True, we were pleasantly surprised by the food in the MDR. Great choices and fast service. Probably cut the dinner buffet down to avoid waste. They did have an impressive amount of gluten free options!
Can I suggest a change to your camera work? The constant up/down motion gets to be difficult to watch (for me, anyway). A better way would be to scan across the food, then scan back across the names. Your viewers can figure out which is which. Otherwise, you are getting me quite ready for 13 days on Celebrity Apex!!
Thank you for the in-depth review of the buffet. This was a much more interesting buffet than on the APEX in June or the Beyond last fall. Do you happen to know if the luncheon buffet is through out other ships? Also, I think they expect folks to eat in the MDR's, reducing the number of cruisers eating in the buffet. Again thanx😀
Thank you! By chance did you see if they have a carving station of ham at breakfast? That’s one of my traveling partner’s favorite thing! Main dining definitely doesn’t have it, and I almost am positive I saw it in the past but with Covid changes you never know
@Who knows oh as a first time cruiser you have a learning curve. If you wish to have something just ask. If you want 2 dinners or deserts or appetizers just ask. They will accommodate. Mark

I have never seen that much food in my life. I don’t think we will be able to try it all! I want to try so many things! Hoping to make healthy choices so I don’t gain weight!! 😂❤
I looked & didn’t see grits or hash browns that’s my favorite breakfast besides the meats I don’t eat eggs is there another place to eat dinner where you order off the menu?

I think the dinner buffet just as lunch because most people go to the main dining room for dinner or specialty restaurants

Yes they have ham carving in the morning we got back on April 6 after a 10 cruise on the equinox

Buffet ice cream is complimentary! There is a gelato station elsewhere that costs money but the buffet is free!
