The BEST Father of the Bride Speech EVER!!

- My dad is not one for public speaking as you may be able to tell. I was so nervous for him as I knew how nervous he was. My mum had no idea what he was planning to say apart from writing the ‘Flash Cards’ for him (because her handwriting is more legible).
Little did we know that he ad-libbed the whole thing, using the giant ‘flash cards’ as cues.
A lot of our guests have asked to see the speech again and so here it is!
For reference, Nick and I are both over 6 foot, hence the ‘size of the kids’ joke. And yes, Callum is my ex-boyfriend.
He did us proud!

hi guys, the best success that I have ever had was by using the Talking Template Bundle (i found it on google) without a doubt the most useful info that I have ever followed.
Hilarious, warm and heartfelt....What more could a bride want ? I only hope I can make my speech somewhere near as good for my daughter !!

Of all the clips of FOtB speeches this is the one that’s given me the most inspiration. I don’t do public speaking myself so this has given me much hope for my own speech August 2021

Thank you for your kind words. I have watched this video several times and have shared the laughter. I am putting the finishing touches to my speech as we speak. I share the same feelings for my daughter as your dad does for you. We nearly lost her due to a pulmonary embolism following an operation to remove her appendix.I will mention this in my speech and that will bring a lump to my throat. She`s a great girl with a bright future ahead. Thanks for your video.....

Don Scott he's purposely showing the cards!
Don Scott if you are curious about what exactly is written on his flash cards, all you have to do is read each one once he turns them around, exposing the front of the card, showing what is written on each one ! If you’ll watch very carefully, you’ll see that, when he is finished with the top card, he removes it from the top of the stack, turns it around & then places it on the bottom of his stack, thus showing exactly what was written on the side he had finished looking at.
