First time watching you, thank you for sharing. RUclips and zoom meetings have opened doors to meet people who may live next door or thousands of miles away. I stopped watching TV in September 2020 and started following RUclipsrs, always surprised at the friendliness shown in the comments, a proper little or large community of people. RUclips is not everyone’s cup of tea but I like it.
Thanks for this video...I hadn't thought of RUclips as a way to leave our grandkids a view into our lives and who we are - the legacy of narratives supporting our younger generations to focus on whats important in life. You've really inspired me Kev to start a RUclips diary of my travels❤ from NZ

You are brave and I love your give it ago attitude. I always thought the demigraphics for you tube was the younger age group. What a lovely, touching video! I think what I like most about you and your videos is that one minute, you're a sort of practical "Lets get on with it" type, but the next, you're not so uptight that you can't simply turn on the camera, look into it and start honestly pouring out your heart, yet not in an over dramatic way. I think too many RUclipsrs think they have to hype up whatever it is they are saying or doing, or feeling, to make it 'watch-worthy'. You've achieved a balance, I think, that people can relate to. So glad you and your sister have enjoyed this new connection. I know from experience how great that can feel. 😊😊😊

Its nice to see normal people who look normal with normal lives, who talk abput normal stuff, establish kinda 'celeb' status. I came across a well known van youtuber the other week and i felt a bit star struck haha. I wouldn't give footballer or tv stars a second look. Real people talking to us other real people is where its it. Keep sharing your thought Kev ❤
Im not a full time van lifer. Ive got an old lt28 that ive pained green and campered on a budget and it comes out most weeks for some venture in Yorkshire. If i had the brass to get a better reliable van id love to make it a permanent thing, but just cant trust my old van duncan to cope with full time

I enjoy full-time RV van life. I like to spend my retirement time enjoying the great outdoors and seeing things I didn't have time for while raising my family and it also gives me more time to visit my family while on the road. As for RUclips, I don't need the money and my time is worth more than what I here most are making today on RUclips. I do have a private channel where all my family movies and photos are available for my kids to see and feel that this is all I need. Good luck with your channel and its continued success.

I agree with what he says. There's always someone that will watch. Your chance is growing nicely as well. Slowly but nicely I mean I rush cause I get again. I'm not using RUclips as in my living. Already make money. I don't need RUclips if it comes down to that. Don't care. I'm a prepper I stock up on food. I save a ton of money because I don't pay high rent anymore and that's it. You guys can do it too. Depends on what you want to talk about. It's a lot of things you can talk about on RUclips. Make your own channel about money about sex about living. Alternatively, or about banking anything? Cooking anything. I sell? People just do it just like when you stop Van life. If you're scared by empty Van sleep with it with the old mattress first and say I like it. If you like it then start to plan how you want your brand to look and work from there. In fact, I'm gonna do a video about that too I just get myself an idea.

I say this because you speak well, speak from the heart (sincereity), you look directly into the camera and you have an interesting story to tell. It may be a mundane story but you relate it well, you give it life and you make the listener / viewer feel they are part of your group of friends. Amazing progress in 14 weeks. I stared mine purely for the joy of teaching mainly for me. I often go Back and watch them. It’s a fantastic way of documenting your own life. I certainly don’t not get the views like you have but this I don’t mind as I love the process and enjoy what I do. Your story is well worth watching. I can say that the emotions that your sister has experienced from your channel I can relate to because I have felt the same emotions. I want you to know that as a man of 60 going on 61 myself living in New Zealand in a garden shed, I had a brush with death due to some medical issues that landed me in hospital for nearly 2 weeks I surrendered my life to Jesus Crist and have been praying for your success on your channel for a number of reasons mainly your genuineness and your love of the beauty of Gods creation and your thankfulness for what you have in life. Keep up the great work man , as a believer I would ask you consider turning to Christ (if you have not done so already) and start putting your faith in Him, I truly believe that God has great things inline for you. Hello mate, I’ve watched all your videos but I’m a watcher more than a commenter.
Just thought I’d comment to say I enjoy what you post.
I like the raw videos where they’re not polished and the videos don’t have to have a particular point to them other than just checking in and talking about what you’re up to.
You do you, but my advice would be to not overthink it and don’t try too hard to think of material. Just being real has got you this far already.
