The reason for this is because even on leave soldiers are still on duty, they still represent the British government and the Monarch. By doing what he did he was contravening a ruling in the Manual of Military Law. The ruling applying to behaviour contrary and prejudicial to good order and discipline. I’m so glad you said that about British soldiers not taking pics of themselves covering their bits. It’s just not true, as is so much of this chapter where he is such a hero, so good at his job, so good at killing people. So now, during his ‘live therapy sessions’ he’s said that he and many other soldiers he was with didn’t agree with the war and that a lot of the British public didn’t agree with it. So much for his concern regarding the feelings of veterans, to say they were often wounded for nothing
I think I can speak to the military issues mentioned: I was deployed twice as a combat Medic, so I had front row seat to the worst of humanity on a daily basis. When I came home, EVERYONE noticed a difference in me that they couldn't explain, even though I felt like the exact same person as before. The only time we are prevented from discussing kill counts is if the action involved a national security directive. Soldiers talk about it all the time but only with other soldiers. Civilians simply do not understand. ❤️
Have thought for some time that he DOES suffer from arrested development, having stopped developing mentally or emotionally when his mother died. So much of his behaviour and the way he reacts to situations is just what you'd expect from a young teenage boy. Forgivable in them, because that's a natural stage of development, disconcerting in a male in his 30s. (Can't bring myself to describe him as a 'man'.)
Take a good hard look at him when he was a toddler - it was there - hiding in plain sight from the get go - that’s why everyone in the RF rallied ‘round & protected him - they couldn’t protect him from himself - his life has been a disaster & has worsened since he Megxited on his Freedom Flight - the people surrounding him seem to be using him & he’s too stupid to realise - the Harry Trainwreck won’t end well.
I lived in Surrey all through the nineties. Homes do not have AC. They say air con for AC. The parents of Harry were smeared all over. His mom did work the press. She was not perfect, but did her best at the time. I really believe H thinks MM is like a kind of reincarnation of his mom. He is blinded by his own delusional thinking. Harry and his Uncle Andrew.........only the best. Enjoyed binge listening to you today. Thanks for that. Peace🌎💞💖
I grew up in Tucson, Arizona, in the sweltering heat of the desert. If we did not use air conditioning we would be dead. Never have I ever heard the term ”air con”. Must be a British thing.
I think MM's plan was/is to gaslight Harry into reminding him of his mother. What kind of evil monster would abuse someone's vulnerability that is clearly still raw for any reason? However, they are both twisted and delusional. They are husband and wife, not mother and son!!
Oh. my. gah! If Hazard had actually been allowed to fly a chopper shouldn't there be, I dunno, one anecdote about it? Ignore a chopper warning light?🤦♀️ One of my family members was in a military chopper crash. One second flying, the next in a heap of twisted metal with the stench of fuel and the sounds of groaning men. Pilot error. Your description of him being "unable to see around corners" is so spot on! South Park should finish the job and next time draw his character with training wheels or in a Dodgem car with "warning* prince of Canada. Save yourselves" bumper sticker.
Thanks for wading into the mud for us. Most people just pass over this army time but as you point out there are so many incidents where he shows his true colours. He has shown us who he is so we must believe him and not forget. Such a jealous, petty, arrogant and unaware man/child. The army didn’t help him grow up because he was so protected and coddled. They must have been so relieved when he left. I love that you stay on his case even though it is excruciating 💎🙏💕🐨 PS. We do call it “air con” in Australia
The oh so sensitive Prince Harry - wonder if he ever thinks about the number of children who lost their daddies! Their loss in no different than his own; one day they were there, the next they were gone. It was no different for them, as it was for him. The incongruity of Harry's behaviour, now in his late 30s is beyond belief.
I have to say as an Aussie, we do actually call air conditioning “air con” never air conditioning, so, I think this is another example of Harry trying to be George again (the guy he Jackaroo’d with in Australia, trying to be someone his not again, I could be reading into this too much, but, maybe that’s why he calls it that because us Australian’s do use that term) I don’t know if the English do use that term aswell, us Aussies do though 😉💗
Publishers have enough tricks up their sleeves to make it a "bestseller" no doubt. He makes himself look so self-indulgent and unaware of the real world. He's an offense to the public.

Should HazNo be telling so much of behind the scenes of the British military? Plus he crapped on his Commander which is REALLY bad form in the military.
Funny how Harry's description of the start of Invictus differs markedly from other reports. Supposedly QEII felt that Harry needed a project so they "gave" him Invictus, as you stated, copied from the Warrior games he'd seen in the US. No written proposal or anything on his part, but he was given an outline of what it would take to get it off the ground. Months later, when Harry had done nothing (surprise), including hiring the help he had been instructed to, the RF hired Sir Keith Mills who had previously run the London Olympics.Technically it was done under the guise of the foundation and included William, Catherine, and Harry, the queen wanted it as "something Harry could do."
The debriefing officer was jealous of you Harry? Really? And the Squadron Commander? Shame. Anyone else? Honestly, it's like Kenneth Williams: 'Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!'
Thank you for telling us the future of your channel! I was getting nervous at the thought of not having one of your videos to look forward to 😅 love this channel so much!
This chapter shows Harry with no redeemable qualities. With his own & own ghost writer words, he’s showing how even in his military service he was so immature, entitled, clueless and acting like a royal cowboy incapable to grasp the reality of war. It’s like the guy can’t hear himself. So uninspiring, small minded and completely missing out on what could have been a life changing experience. There’s absolutely none of that, in his own words. He also served so little and just the way he described the non events shows how almost artificial the whole experience was for him.
I agree with you Cheere, I don’t think a “mate” would of said that comment, I agree with you and think Meghan would of said something like that to stir up his emotions. I also don’t think a normal soldier would be speaking up the way Harry had spoken up about war. Friends and family members of mine that have ever been in war haven’t spoken about their experiences about it to me let alone so publicly in a book. I personally feel Harry is talking about other people’s experience’s and claiming them as his own to sound like a brave hero, unfortunately to me he doesn’t sound like a hero, he sounds like a child, I feel Harry would of been under constant protection while he was over there. I feel that men and woman who have been on the front line would be deeply hurt by everything Harry is saying in this chapter. I think it is a very stupid move and is putting his entire family all at risk now, even more so with the upcoming Coronation. I just hope and pray the security surrounding the Coronation is in overload, that the security will be so tight that even a child with a toy water pistol will not even be anywhere near the Royal family. I keep saying it and will continue to, shame on you Harry, you silly, silly boy, yes, boy, because his clearly not acting like a man and definitely not like a father, his now endangered his own children’s safety from these comments 😢
Harry's view of war, as described in this video, reminds me of what I hear when he mentions his wife and family. I've found it difficult to put into words, but it's as if he's a 15yr old who has somehow become a husband and father and thinks he's moved into the big boys league. With regard to his arrested development, I don't disagree but I am also inclined to think that Harry was born with a difficulty of some description. He has always been a handful and his own mother had concerns about his behaviour. According to Harry's biographer, Angela Levin, Diana was troubled enough to seek help for her younger son.
Thank you, especially, Cheere, for videos like this one, that are a slog for you to get through. I GREATLY appreciate you! It may be difficult for you to get through it, but to me… when I’m listening… well, ya make it seem like “buttuh” (butter) 🙂
What an annoying person, my eyes kept opening so wide at the stupid things he was saying so confidently like he’s cool or something, my goodness I see why he and M get along. Thank you for reading for me, I’ve always wanted to read books but the letters get jumbled and I don’t ever remember anything I read, plus I have 6 kids so no time for it anyway. I’d love for you to read Lady C’s book one of these days in the future, love her.
I enjoy your commentary, glad to hear that you have plans for the future….I think you are absolutely correct when you refer to him as having arrested development…..my impression is that he is not very intellectual and he is incredibly immature. He doesn’t understand that there are consequences to the things he does but that may be because he never had to deal with those consequences since he had a cleanup squad at the palace. Did he figure out a way to blame the British press or his brother for his behavior in Vegas since they are the culprits in all his misadventures?
He couldn’t blame them so it was the shady girls without common decency 🤣 (no matter that common decency would dictate you keep your clothes on in front of women but I guess I’m old fashioned like that 😆)
He doesn’t appear to absorb much, from his experiences. He is more of a sensory kind of person. He needs to be a bit more reflective, about the impact of his actions on others. It is called “empathy”; an oft overused and misunderstood word, in our current culture. People tend to use the word “empathy” in place of the word “pity”. Self “pity”, and “pity” in general, are self indulgent. Empathy describes the attempt to understand the circumstances which motivate the behaviors of others, by imagining what it might be like to walk in their shoes, in an effort to better understand the context from which they make “said” decisions. It is meant to give us better strategies, for dealing with people, via insight deemed from observation, listening, and critical thought. Feeling sorry for someone, perpetually, is a form of “pity”. Pity implies that some human beings do not inherently possess the same capacities, as other human beings, to cope with life’s challenges, via critical thought and creative problem solving. It is patronizing, self indulgent and unproductive. Harry is a ditz, who belongs in a highly structured environment, in which he is required to participate in physical activity, to the point of exhaustion. The military would actually, be an ideal fit, for a person like this. Certainly not writing. He has no perspective. He is, but a mere vessel, a play thing, of you will. He is very good with kids, however. He loved being in Africa, with children. He loved the outdoors, and the physicality of the environment, and the kids. I don’t think he chose the right woman. She couldn’t give a rip about who he is, as a person. If she did, she would try to bring him together with his family, especially his brother. It would kill her to watch him shoot himself in the foot like this. Instead, she eggs it on, and exploits the most tragic event of his life.
All Aussies use air-con. Even car ads use air-con. Harry wants to return with his conscience intact but fires in anger and kills without receiving permission. Contradiction number 1099.
@karinagoulding8499 where I live, it's HOT with high humidity, so you sweat sometimes without movement. But I'm poor too, but I would say, "Stop running the aircon 24/7. What do you think I got spare money or something?"" We really only need to run it in summer. So, I run the bill up in summer and pay it off the rest of the year. I pay 120/month year round even though at the moment my electricity wouldn't even be $20 a week. Probably $100+ a week in summer.
just must say, i've never before been able to suggest/recommend any other channel to so many friends and family! quite a diverse lot! Thank you Cheere Denise for all you do!
I Wonder how many times the “warning light” flashed for them to return to base actually flashed? The idea that the helicopter was too heavy on take off is ludicrous, they know exactly how much an apache can carry and would never overload it, there are such things as safety margins, overloading a helicopter would be the same as not having a helicopter totally useless, the idea that you overload it so it can’t fly in a war zone shows how dumb he is that he would actually believe it 😂😂😂😂

@@cheeredenise I'm on part 6 "I Wanna Ski..." I'm loving it. You are so right about his arrested development. He's a child in an adult body. (I hesitate to call him a man)
The only place I’ve heard “aircon” is Japan, where they tend to smash English words together - for example, personal computer (laptop) = persocon. I find it funny how he is fascinated by jargon wherever he goes. As someone who loves languages I get it, but he’s writing it down like he’s the only person who understands it because he’s the only one “in the know” 😅
Aircon is used in the UK, mainly because our air conditioning is mainly in the car where it is always abbreviated to aircon, air conditioning in homes is not a big thing over here.
The vid was entertaining as always, Cheere. Even Harry's more boring chapters take on some humor through you! I saw the South Park episode, and thought it was so funny. Harry and Meghan yelling at people to stop looking at them was a riot. The next chapter sounds good. Will Harry finally do some self-reflection?
So entertaining the way you relay it. I'm seeing him in whole different light, with regards to his army life. He was given a hero complex, praised by that no called nasty media, when he was mentioned in relation to it. It's obvious while he was away, the Firm decided on what his next course of duties would involve, to save him from himself, and his endless cockups. He got sent to the USA, every day is planned to the letter, perfectly timed, non of this is done by him, your told where your going, who your meeting, what your discussing. He hasnt decided to go The Warrior Games, he was sent there, to discuss with them, how they could do something similar in the UK, he hasnt thought of any of it. He gets to put his name to it, and bathe in the glory if it. To think what the other soldiers who fought alongside him, protecting him, must be thinking, they're the deserving, of his position, as the face of it. He's still basking in it, but it was all given to him, under the Umbrella of the Royal family. The last one, Meghan doing speeches, treating it like a fashion show. When William and Catherine attended in the past, they just wore the branded Invictus logoed tops. I know whu his popularity tanked now, after this book came out.
I think that is why his dad calls him 'Dear Boy' because he knows he hasn't had any growth since Mommy died. And Who in their 30's calls his mother ' Mommy'? It sounds so childish
actually in Ireland and Britain many of us do call our parents Mammy/Mummy and Daddy right through adulthood. Or Ma and Da. it's not uncommon at all. the rest of it, for sure! i don't think he has grown up even yet
@@fabulousnewt770 I'm Irish and live in NI and pretty much everyone I know does, including my parents and grandparents. So it's obviously a locality/culture thing.
Even if he felt that way in the moment about his war experience, did the passage of time not make him realize anything? I’m so baffled as to how he claims to be so woke now with all the “Empire 2.0” on their Netflix thing. He sounds like a defiant one dimensional boot and not the least bit introspective about the long term effect of the war on every level.

Part of Harry's problem was his nickname from Princess Diana. She called William DDG (drop dead gorgeous) and Harry was "little king Harry". I don't think she did him any favors by spoiling him because William was going to be king.
Cressida broke up with over this. She said he humiliated her.

I think I can speak to the military issues mentioned:
I was deployed twice as a combat Medic, so I had front row seat to the worst of humanity on a daily basis.
I think he had something going on way before his mothers death. That just made things worse. Imho.
Oh please do Revenge Tom Bower next!
The Worldwide Privacy Tour is the most brilliant episode South Park has made in years.
Hairy can't get along with anyone, can he?
Another job well done! Thanks Cheerie. Very entertaining and insightful. 😆
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh. my.
Keep canada out of this😂😂😂🎉
Thanks for wading into the mud for us.
I love that you stay on his case even though it is excruciating 💎🙏💕🐨
PS. We do call it “air con” in Australia
The aussies can have fun words!! Posers trying to sound cool cannot 🤣
@@cheeredenise I wouldn't be too hard on him for that if I were you. Anyway, gotta go now. It's time for brekky.
Well said!
He is far more odious than Andrew.
@cheeredenise we call it air con in the UK so it's normal for Harry to call it that 😂
The oh so sensitive Prince Harry - wonder if he ever thinks about the number of children who lost their daddies! Their loss in no different than his own; one day they were there, the next they were gone. It was no different for them, as it was for him. The incongruity of Harry's behaviour, now in his late 30s is beyond belief.
Yes please I'm looking forward to Revenge and your other commentaries. Yes this was a slog. Seems like Harry is contemptious of almost everyone.
I have to say as an Aussie, we do actually call air conditioning “air con” never air conditioning, so, I think this is another example of Harry trying to be George again (the guy he Jackaroo’d with in Australia, trying to be someone his not again, I could be reading into this too much, but, maybe that’s why he calls it that because us Australian’s do use that term)
I don’t know if the English do use that term aswell, us Aussies do though 😉💗
I think most Americans use the term 'AC," s in "Turn the AC on" or "Last month's AC bill was sky high."
I don't think we have much need for air con here in the UK with our rubbish weather !! (Speaking from Scotland)
Yeah, Brits generally say air con too. But as previously stated. It's rare because it's rarely needed. Rare as in hen's teeth
I can't believe what Neil Sean said today that the book is still a best seller. I just can't work out who is buying it.
Well, it was immediately slashed to half price so that probably helped sales….
Publishers have enough tricks up their sleeves to make it a "bestseller" no doubt. He makes himself look so self-indulgent and unaware of the real world. He's an offense to the public.
Well in hindsight, 4 mos later, they've been fired from Spotify and I think it's fair to say they ALL lied, Spotify, Netflix, and penguin house (I believe)
Plus many libraries and bookstores in the most left wing U.S. states bought the book.
Check H and Ms shed!! They may have bought them 😂
The Roayal Family gave him Yet another job he wasn't in anyway Qaulified For.
You falling asleep in the bed with the book falling down on you is so relatable! Except usually the book ends up falling on my face! 😂😬
My iPad falls on my face, knocks my glasses askew, and wakes me up ( and sometimes it hurts!).
I am so glad I found your channel. Your analysis is very thought provoking. Love your style!
Thanks so much!
Prince Harry, goes to war, complete with his Royal protection team. WHAT !! He should have been ashamed to admit it.
If shooting from the helicopter was the closest he felt he came to facing the enemy then that tells you all you need to know: he never experienced anything close to being in a war at all!
Just subscribed. Thank you so much. I refused to buy the book. Won’t put one dime in those hypocrites pockets. So now I get to experience the book through you!
Should HazNo be telling so much of behind the scenes of the British military? Plus he crapped on his Commander which is REALLY bad form in the military.
Isn’t it disgusting?! That wouldn’t fly in the States either.
the British presssssss 😂😂😂
Well, Tom.Cruise got lampoon's on SP, but it hadn't hurt his career any.
Oh yes! Please do Revenge! Such a great book.
28:08 🤣😂🤣 you are so funny!!!! 😂❤
I don't believe a word he says.
The debriefing officer was jealous of you Harry? Really? And the Squadron Commander? Shame. Anyone else? Honestly, it's like Kenneth Williams: 'Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!'
He constantly minimizes everyone in his family in hopes to make himself feel better or look more important andbfails
Harry the hero to the rescue 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for telling us the future of your channel! I was getting nervous at the thought of not having one of your videos to look forward to 😅 love this channel so much!
You are so welcome! And thank you for supporting the channel!!!!
Can confirm 👍 we call air conditioning 'aircon' here in Australia 😊😅
I enjoy it so much, thank you!
I'm so glad!!!!
I agree - he had some sort of issue from the get-go.
The fact that, as you say, there's no self-reflection in this book, and no realisation that the book makes him look terrible, is just astonishing.
Here in Manchester we say aircon , I dont think I know anyone who says Air Conditioning. If you are ooor like me you would say “ put the fan on “
@karinagoulding8499 where I live, it's HOT with high humidity, so you sweat sometimes without movement.
[even other channels, like Karine Alourde's, who just covered mr b and etc a bit ;)]
we'll fight the suppression of your channel!
I Wonder how many times the “warning light” flashed for them to return to base actually flashed? The idea that the helicopter was too heavy on take off is ludicrous, they know exactly how much an apache can carry and would never overload it, there are such things as safety margins, overloading a helicopter would be the same as not having a helicopter totally useless, the idea that you overload it so it can’t fly in a war zone shows how dumb he is that he would actually believe it 😂😂😂😂
Aussie here and we call it "air-con" we always shorten stuff 😂
I've just found your channel and I saw the video of you reviewing the foreword of SPARE. Loved it! Before I watch this I'm going to go back and try to catch up. I've got all day.
Awesome! Thank you! Let me know what you think!!
@@cheeredenise I'm on part 6 "I Wanna Ski..." I'm loving it. You are so right about his arrested development. He's a child in an adult body. (I hesitate to call him a man)
So glad you opened with South Park. I don't think they will recover.
The only place I’ve heard “aircon” is Japan, where they tend to smash English words together - for example, personal computer (laptop) = persocon. I find it funny how he is fascinated by jargon wherever he goes. As someone who loves languages I get it, but he’s writing it down like he’s the only person who understands it because he’s the only one “in the know” 😅
Just seeing this video now haha, but in Australia we refer to air conditioning as air con all the time
We do in the UK too so that's why Harry would be saying air con 😀
I love your humour. Just like mine made me laugh out loud.
The British do say Air Con, we're lazy lol
Aircon is used in the UK, mainly because our air conditioning is mainly in the car where it is always abbreviated to aircon, air conditioning in homes is not a big thing over here.
He doesn't even know what the words he's using Mean.
My personal favorite, was the scene in which Harry is is outside the window, doing some squeaking with his blue todger.
@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied South Park outdid themselves. They didn't miss a trick!
I thought air con was the prisoner transport service in America lol
Your thinking Conair Nicholas Cage movie...before he went crazy haha. Air con is an American brand air conditioner .built before Sparry went crazy 😬
Yes it was 😂
So entertaining the way you relay it.
Just found your channel. Love it. Been binge watching. 😊
I love your summary of Meghan and Harry.
Your videos are always such fun! Yeah here in the UK we say aircon or at least everyone around me does 😅
Good to know!
And we in the US Southern Appalachian region do as well. It's not immature, it's just a cultural thing.
@@maryohara1411 well I'm from England and no one I have ever met in 62 years still calls rheir mum mummy past about aged 3.
@@fabulousnewt770 I'm Irish and live in NI and pretty much everyone I know does, including my parents and grandparents. So it's obviously a locality/culture thing.
Thank you for reading this book for us. I’m sure I would not be able to Finnish it, let alone get past chapter 2.
Never thought about it before but maybe Air Con is a British thing. Thats what we call it where I work anyway.🤔
What are you going to do when you finish reviewing this book? I want more reviews from you. I love your channel.
Probably Revenge because I’ve had so many requests for that one!
Why is he not reprimanded for kill count??
@13.15 You were right about Aussie's using the word 'Air-Con'. I'm Australian (love your content btw), and am catching up on the Spare readings. We do use the term 'Air-Con'. Anyhoo, I'll unpause and keep following along.
Part of Harry's problem was his nickname from Princess Diana. She called William DDG (drop dead gorgeous) and Harry was "little king Harry". I don't think she did him any favors by spoiling him because William was going to be king.
You’re totally right - in Australia it’s air con and hardly ever air conditioning
It must be tought to be Harry, knowing that EVERYONE is jealous and set out to get you every day of your life.
100% spot on..
I’m a southerner and my dad always said air con! I do sometimes but not always.
I realized why thr Harry voice is funny. 😅 It sounds like Cartman from South park. 😂
Aloha Cheere, love your show. GOD bless.
Same to you!
What about Finding Freedom?? I think it will be interesting now that you covered Waaaagh
I’m from Australia and we always say Aircon❤
