Lovely effect. I miss not having manual focus on what I use to shoot video these days. Used to be especially handy to be able to lock focus in those low-light situations where auto-focus would continually be searching for a subject to focus on.
One problem is the touch screen is so small and dim I could not see when the distant shot was in focus, so had to switch it to auto focus for the long shot! Then edit them together, I'm getting an idea what I'll want when I get my next camera - bigger/better touch screen and a viewfinder. It has got Wi-fi so I suppose I could try controling it from the ipad. I feel technology taking over.
Nice editing; hadn't noticed. Yes, viewfinder, definitely. Using the iPad would be an interesting experiment though, obviously, cumbersome in the field.
