The two lead characters "Ram" and "Laxman" shared good chemistry and bond as brothers. The female lead looks pretty in a saree and had great chemistry with "Ram". Villain's look in the second half was odd. Overall "Main Hoon Na" was a full on paisa vasool movie

The thing is Vanaar ko Gorilla banana doesn't even make sense factually. Because Indian subcontinent mai Gorillas milte hi nahi hai. If Valmiki or Tulsidas have never seen a Gorilla how can vanaar mean a gorilla?
And Jambavan was an Indian Sloth Bear. You can actually find them here. And depictions of Jambavan is v similar to the Sloth bear.

Seriously! Except for Saif, nobody else was even trying to play their character let alone play them well. Prabhas and Kriti acted nothing like Ram and Sita. Kriti was straight up acting like a modern girl and talking in her modern accent. Like wtf???
They could’ve at least read the script no? Are they babies? Plus except for Saif, nobody else even tried playing their characters let alone do good acting. If they at least played their part well and acted decent enough, I could still excuse them but it seemed like they weren’t even trying. Let’s hold actors responsible for the terrible choices they make as well. Let’s not defend them like they’re clueless children. I can still understand why the supporting actors signed up but Prabhas and Kriti Sanon don’t have any lack of money. They got involved in this terrible parody of Ramayan only for their greed of money and they deserve to be criticized as well. Any actor who truly cares about cinema would never get involved in a project without at least reading the script unless they’re like in serious financial problems and even if they had to under some pressure, they would give their best acting wise. All I see here are greedy producers, greedy director and greedy actors who are willing to fall to any depth just to make some quick cash.
I'm a Muslim but I read a story book about Ramayana when I was in class 7 also in class 11 and 12 there was a poem named Bhibishon er proti Meghnath.I think I understand Ramayana more than the director and the dialogue writer in this movie

My team did ramleela in Jaipur,it was a famous one 5 days show of around 5k crowd daily,many of our cast got messages saying our casting, dialogues were times better than adipurush... we had limited budget of around 10-15 lakh,and limited range of cast members...all they had to do was genuine try
Yk with that huge budget, they could've created a masterpiece even if they didn't use too much VFX. They could've used known verses, shlokas, chaupayis of Ramayana or Ramcharit Manas for the dialogues, songs, bgm. They could've created a musical movie. Because it's teachings are timeless and can still be relatable in today's times. Eg: when Vibhishana visits Rama's camp/stay, Sugreeva says "जानी न जाए निशाचर माया कौन भेद के ही कारण आया" ; you cannot tell the true intentions of a bad person who comes to you with a good/trustable image.
Doing so would've developed intrest in audience and especially youth to go and read the text and learn it's beautiful lessons.
But they chose to do absolute bullshitery and the audacity with which they're defending everything. Im wondering how in the did the Censor board even pass the film? Did they not notice all these things???? Aise to badi kainchi chal jaati hai inki chhoti chhoti cheezon par??

My respect for Ayan Mukherjee and Brahmastra increased infinite times after Adipurush. At least Brahmastra mein VFX mein efforts thhe, they took ten freaking years to make that film and that showed when the film released and they also accepted their mistakes like the cringe love story and dialogues and told us they'll improve these things in part 2 and I for one have high hopes from Ayan Mukherjee. Adipurush makers are simply shameless. Religion ke naam pe ek movie ko bechna kitna galat hain😠😠Adipurush should be banned all over India aur mujhe toh yeh samajh nahi aa raha ki log Prabhas ko gaali kyun nahi de rahe. Sala kuch acting nahi kar sakte woh. Abhi toh Rajamouli sir bhi soch rahe honge ki maine kisko star bana diya yaar. Koi dhang ka expression nahi de sakta yeh sala single expression wala actor Prabhas. He charged freaking 150 crores for this movie!!!! Can you imagine???? Finally someone pointed out Prabhas. Firstly, I just don't understand the argument ki ek to bas acting kr rha tha. Story or dialogue m uska kya control? That's a ridiculous argument. One can say so for a newbie but not for someone who has become immensely popular in last few years. Stars of his standing have a say write from the screenplay to the promotion strategy. He could and should have pointed the issues. Secondly I called him a star because as you said, he just can't give any expression. Same stone face. Bahubali was a while ensemble and it's immense success made him a star, does not mean he is a good actor as well. No expression change, no voice modulation nothing.
And lastly yeh jo excuse de rhe that the dialogues are such to cater the youth. Ek to youth chutiya ni h ki shodh Hindi na samajh sake wo bhi Ramayana ki. Dusra, prabhas jo popular hua wo movie hi historical context ki thi... Usm bhi aise hi dialogues. Tab ya phir jab koi period drama banti h tb to yeh chapri language ni use krte ..

As a Non-Hindu, my knowledge of Ramayana is very piece meal and limited. But even i was shocked to see Vaner Sena depicted as primates and Hanuman as a monkey like being. They didn't even know monkeys and primates (gorillas & Chimpanzees) are 2 different species. God Lord what a disaster.
I am also not a hindu but I like to research about ancient history and mythologies and have read highlights of authentic valmiki Ramayana. And the reason why vanar sena or hanuman were never shown as proper monkeys is because they were VANNAR (van me rahne wale nar). No Where in entire authentic Ramayana, rishi valmiki referred hanuman or vanar sena as monkeys. It was only during transition when they started calling them monkeys.
As per records, Ramayana was written arround the time when most probably not all humans had completed their evolution hince the pre development stages of homo sapiens co existed. Thats why hanuman had monkey like features and lived in forests but wasn't actually a monkey

To be honest, I haven't watch the movie yet, not because of bad reviews or the way movie made up just because of when I saw the first trailer of Adipurush I made my mind I'm not going to watch this movie, I already knew the movie not gonna work, and also movie is earning good money but audience are very disappointed.
I thought of the same too when I first saw the trailer. From the character design itself you can say it's a crap movie.

(I clearly remember the lockdown state, where everyone , I guess, had watched Ramayan -by Ramanand Sagar ji and I guess everyone is aware of all the incidents of the Same.)
1. Smjhna jruri ni hota kbhi kbhi PDHNE se bhi kaam chal jata hai.
2. Vfx k liye jitna time liya gya usse achha ANIMATED hi bna dete ya phir CONTENT hi badha dete.
3. I saw various statues of Ravana that sang the Prayers with him **that's new and can be Admissible.
4. I was one of the prey for this Shree Om Raut's movie and I was literally waiting for Your video.
5. Saste nashe krke movie bnai hai, naam Ramayan wale. And kaam pta ni konse wale.
6. If someone tries to picture someone's parents in a totally different manner, it could hurt that person. Please Koi to btao Om ji ko.
7. In one of his video Om ji said k ye wo Ravan hai jo inke imagination main aata hai, dude chillax, agar hm koi horror movie dekhte hain to uske ghost k jaisa hi kch imagine ho pata h, to shayad inne kabhi Ramayan ni dekhi ya padhi ya suni.

Vanar is actually derived from Van + Nar that means humans who live in forests. And that's why Lord Hanuman, Jambuvan, Sugriv, Bali, Angad, Nar, Nil and the whole Vanar Sena are depicted by humans. These people didn't even do the minimum research.

Thank you for holding the actors accountable because I don’t see anyone else doing that. People are just making so many stupid excuses to defend the actors, but I mean come on. Even a 10 yr-old can read the script and tell it’s going to be horrible. Even if the vfx was good, the dialogues and plot were absolutely terrible. Let’s say they didn’t read the script before signing. They just signed up for it because it’s a big budget movie based on Ramayana. Then isn’t it still their fault? Because they just signed a movie for a fat paycheck without even reading the script. Others I can still understand but the lead actors, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon don’t have lack of money. What is it but greed that would make actors sign such a horrible movie with or without reading the script?? So either way the actors are responsible because they signed up for this project on their own will. They’re not babies and people need to stop justifying them. Idk about others but ok let’s say Kriti is obligated to promote Adipurush as “successful” etc. on social media including her insta stories of people (obviously paid) apparently cheering for her in theaters with captions like “focusing on the positive” etc., are her mother and sister also contractually obligated? Why are they defending and promoting Adipurush on social media? If you have done bad work accept it or shut up. People aren’t stupid that they’ll be convinced your shit doesn’t stink.

Atleast in my theater no one cheered, even when prabhas entered. They laughed in one scene, where Lord Hanumn and Lord Ram meet in the woods and Lord Hanuman tries to solve riddles. And they clapped in one scene but I can't remember which.
