Bet you never thought you'd see this series coming back! And no, I don't plan to do The Bus anytime soon, that one has a LOT of words.
You might notice some aesthetic changes to this channel. The layout of this video is different, my intro looks different, and my avatar and channel banner are more distinct and poppy. I recently switched computers to my laptop and upgraded to Sony Movie Studio Platinum 17, which means I can now edit videos at college if I have the time! I could have just transferred every last thing over, but with the old poems being released in HD, I decided that now's as good a time as ever to give my channel that's looked the same since 2015 a slight makeover. As a side note, I've started editing these YTPs in 25 FPS instead of 30 FPS to match the original sources and avoid interlacing, which is especially obvious now with the HD sources. Let me know what you think of the changes!
1:00 the duality of man
The original is weird enough to sound like a ytp on its own, never thought I'd hear Michael swear unedited
@The Deppy Files must be a British swear? We Americans say it too but no one bats an eye
@The Deppy Files It's a swear in Britain. Hell the only reason Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was rated PG13 instead of PG was because of the usage of bloody and asshole.
@@bradythomas234 I'm British and I've never heard it considered a swear here
"Bloody" isn't a swear.
Gets me every time, the way he says "...sort of" when asked if he's a hippie 😂😂😂
Nice job dude! Got this to 50, love from Pittsburgh PA!
Holly hell, this is actually very well made! Love it.
I did not know this existed
Why wouldn’t it exist?
Very nicely done!
If you ever make another one of these, you should do 'Strict'
Quite impressive.
What is the intro music is it an actual song or you made it? Also got my sub 😁
It's from the song Moscow Circus from the game Line Rider 2: Unbound. That game was the inspiration for my name, and the main character in that game is featured in my avatar, my intro, and some other places.
Thanks!
Thank you so much and awesome I usually wonder how ytp'ers come up with their names that's amazing inspiration😁
i thought of doing this too its a good idea
How did you find the source
If you're wondering how I stumbled into it, honestly I forgot how except that it was in early 2013.
If you're wondering where to find them, all original Michael Rosen stories can be found at
ruclips.net/user/MichaelRosenOfficial.
Specifically, the original poems are from 2008 and can be found here:
ruclips.net/p/PLmgt7dcuCBLLCB_exu5RxnasOcv4MLIOP
Last year, they rereleased the stories in HD, which can be found here:
ruclips.net/p/PL2CGz0Wq_uxUhB9CHYEnSRf_VDdd1GdeN
You'll notice that besides the quality and coloring improvements, there are some differences between these two sets of stories, namely the title cards and the cutoffs at the beginning and the end. A fellow YTP creator by the name of NoiceDrinkz made alternate versions of the HD poems that bring back some of those aspects of the older poems. However, we've had some trouble with the Rosen family in sharing those source videos publicly, so the best way to access it is to contact NoiceDrinkz and ask him for a link to the playlist.
It's very cool, but the original playing along makes it hard to appreciate the beauty of sentence mix.
That's why I have the Retold Version Only in the description! For some reason this one got copyright claimed, but it doesn't look like it's blocked anywhere, so I hope you can see it!
@@L1N3R1D3R thanks!
@@Andrei4224 Also, if you have headphones or stereo speakers, the left side should be mostly the original poem and the right side should be mostly the retold version. I would agree that it's too jumbled up to understand if I didn't pan each version to the sides they're on.
@@L1N3R1D3R oh, that even better. The original, playing quietly on the background, makes sentence mix more kinda holistic. Like backing vocal in song supports the lead vocal.
@@Andrei4224 To clarify, THIS version has the original and retold audio panned to their respective sides (which you might not have heard last time). The Retold Version Only has only the retold version's audio, with the original version muted and in the corner just so you can tell where in the poem you are.
