Tanzania is a beautiful country with rich culture and friendly people. However, if you're thinking of moving there, it's important to know both the positives and challenges.
Security: Tanzania is generally safe, with lower violent crime rates. However, pickpocketing and petty theft can be a problem in cities, especially in crowded areas. Basic precautions help reduce the risk.
Electricity & Water: Infrastructure has improved, but power outages and water distribution issues still happen, especially in rural areas. Cities like Dar es Salaam face fewer disruptions, but the problem isn’t fully resolved.
Customer Service: Service quality varies. While some places are friendly and efficient, others can be slow and less professional.
Transportation: Major roads are decent, but rural areas often have rough, poorly maintained roads. Public transport (buses) can be overcrowded, though taxis and ride-hailing services exist in larger cities.
Corruption: Corruption, especially involving traffic police and government offices, is still a concern. Bribery can happen in traffic stops or while dealing with bureaucratic processes.
In summary, Tanzania offers incredible experiences but has its challenges. Understanding both sides will help you make an informed decision about living there.

      - Every country make their own laws! - In Tz, Swahili is the National Language. English is taught only as a class, until later in high school and college level where is taught in all classes. I believe Kenya is the opposite method. That's why they speak English from early childhood. TZ's new generation is growing up to speak English from early childhood due to more international schools around that offer all classes in English from childhood.
      - That's why you can find in Tanzania there's more people who speaks Perfect/Dictionary Swahili, than in Kenya., or any other EA country really!

It's also a fact Tanzanians don't speak Chinese, or japanese or Portuguese or German or french and nobody asks us if we speak those languages. But for some nonsensical reason, they expect us to be speaking English. Why should people come to Tanzania expecting us to speak English and not kiswahili or an African language? We are Africans. We speak African languages first not English.

This will be a commitment similar to European Union - Yes member countries contribute to development fund. In so doing it will be easier to allocate funds for infrastructure projects. Individual countries will not die or wiped out. But the power of their governments will be reduced and United African Government power will be upheld.
