I’m still using mine. There’s no reason I can say to buy a new bow. This one has become my favorite hunting tool. So smooth and easy to draw. No wasted movement. Like Stephen here is just a smooth straight draw. This makes it the best hunting bow I’ve ever owned.

That smile you have after shooting this bow explains it all, they hit a home run with that bow. I’ve been an Elite fan boy for awhile now. But the Ritual is in a class of its own. Good review.

I bought the exact same bow with 28’’ draw length mid January. As you say fantastic to shoot, absolutely no hand shock and amazing draw cycle. But after a week or two, I noticed the cable servings starting to strip and get chewed up at the brace position right at the cable guard wheels. I contacted Elite and explained the problem, sent a few photos, and after a bit of back and forwards emails they decided to send me a complete new cable guard assembly plus new cables. Me being me, I was not convinced that this would solve the problem. Then I removed and checked out the small retaining plate that holds the cables within the cable guard wheels and discovered it had a very sharp edge on it.. so I removed it and continued shooting the bow every day to see if the cables would be any further damaged, and the conclusion was no...... perfect now! This is an issue Elite really need to address as I am a huge fan, having shot 3 different models previously. Just wondering if any other owners have encountered this problem? Ps would like to thank the young man at Elite customer services who pushed through my complaint and got the job done after they refused to send the new items to me in Scotland.

I enjoy your reviews well done. Fyi Elite does have a pretty fair amount of apparel to choose from. Hats, shirts, sweatshirts... I love my Ritual, it is a very forgiving bow to shoot. Very accurate.

Hello Steven I love you reviews. I own an option 7 and have shot the ritual. I didn't notice the twitch of the option series till I watched your option 6 review. Just before full draw the option wobbles side to side the ritual does not. Ritual doesn't have any rubber dampener on it and has 0 handshock. It's definitely engineered very well
No gimmicks no dampeners no weights ECT..... Excellent engineering. 2019 Ritual 30
2018 Ritual 2017 option and tempo 2016 impulse years in witch these bows were introduced.

Great review. Don’t be disappointed by the speed of the bow. IBO is recorded with a. Bow set at 30 to 31” and at 70lbs of draw weight. They also record it shooting an arrow that weighs 5 grains per pound of draw. Elite at one time published different IBO speeds for each variant of weight (70,60,50, etc.) for each bow model. I’m curious to see what this bow can do with a 30” draw, 70lbs, with a 420grain arrow. I have the Elite Synergy now and it shoots 288 with those specs.

Steven, if you ever get an Elite Revol in stock I think it would be a good bow for a review. I’m a big fan of bows that can be used for both target and hunting and from the spec sheet the Revol looks like a winner. Thanks again for all your in depth reviews!

Nice review and very nice and good looking bow. Which wishker biscuit rest and sight are you using here? By the way, I'm intrigued to see your opinion on the new Mathews, specially the modular system carried by the Vertix.

Steven .... Did you ever do a shoot-ability vs speed video? Is there a place to find a listing of Elite Bows and the years released? The bows are awesome, but confusing when looking at used bows because they don't change much physically. Thanks for you review! You reviews have become the go to for me why purchasing. Wish you had a shop in the states.

@@joc6117 I shot the elite ember, elite kure, both Mathews vxrs, mathews vertex, mathews triax, Bowtech revolt, bowtech realm sr6, bowtech convergence. But the ritual 33 just felt the best to me. I honestly figured I'd end up getting one of the vxrs. But all the elite bows just felt more comfortable to me

They also have a cheaper model called the "Enlist". It's around $625 _700 US dollars. It's a 33" platform bow, resembles there 2013 model the "Answer". Only comes on 2 color options, mossy oak, and black. Nice bow tho for the price.

One great hunting bow this last ( 2021) season. Deadly quiet in the ladder stand as some deer and a coyote can attest to. 58#'s with 28" dl & 417 grain Black Hornet serrated gave pass through busting ribs. I'll probably use this bow set up for 3-d as it holds so very solid. Thinking until something a lot lot better I WILL be shooting this bow.

maybe it is all that weight lifting that the bows are feeling easier? I agree I like the Ritual draw cycle and it is my Fall hunting bow. Liking the Bowtech SR6 for next year 2019 so far. Though I like to see what your chrony and opinion says about the Obsession Lawless... Told you that you would like the Ritual in the Option video comments. Actually the Ritual 30 feels great too.

Did you ever shoot the ritual 35? I understand that it is actually hitting speeds better than the advertised IBO which is even faster than the IBO of the 33. Supposed to be better in every way. Unless of course you like a small bow.

Finally got me one. I had the Synergy years back but this bow is frigging sweet. It fits my physic! The DL is perfect with a 3/4" d-loop at 27 1/2". It is like he said- so smooth and easy. This will be my new hunting bow. Now it's set up for 3-d with a scope, stabilizers etc. It holds so dang still- just floats on the target and I'm nearly 71 years old. No strong man here. Great bow and yes it's very pricey.
