We took an angus bottom round runp roast and turned it into 2 tasty, tender, juicy, thick steaks. Yup, the steaks turned out like prime rib in color and tasted amazing with the homemade Au Jus. Thanks for the suggestion. Bamboo utansils are a good second choice for us because bamboo is naturally strong, non-toxic, and resistant to water, heat, and bacteria. Regular wooden utansils are more porous and can soak up water and other liquids, which can create an ideal environment for microbes and bacteria if not cleaned properly. Fact: Cast iron is the most durable metal you'll ever cook with. Metal spatulas shouldn't hurt seasoned cast iron pans, as long as you don't gouge into the corners. For us, we will stick to our stainless steel spatula with the curved edge that was designed for cast iron pans in 1888 by Ekco Products Co. The closest stainless steel spatula that we can find, like the Ekco, is the Chef Craft Stainless Steel Slotted Spatula - amzn.to/3UzUCGk with the curved edge designed for cast iron pans.
