    Hey matt, you can get individual bucket filters for the injectors to stop extra stuff getting in them. Just for some peace of mind

  • @andyitslit

    Good job on the coolant line. Actually looks like mine except I welded the fitting on the head and got it a little bit more compact. It works great on my car though.

      Yeah I wanted to thread it but didn’t have time and the head was already on

    You should get in touch with rad Dan for advice on making jz's last. From videos I've watched you want to either go dry sump or rear sump to prevent oiling issues.

    Now u need to do something to keep them from getting stopped up again. You need some better filters and clean the system.

    Great job guys. Maybe it's recommended you will clean the injectors every new drift season. Dutch regards, Nico.

    why didnt you remove the water inlet pipe from the block and makes threads so the AN can go straight to the block. those are press in fittings and they pop out over time. surprised you didn't do that

    With looping the line like that you are just sending hot water back into the engine not actually cooling that water coming from the back of the head

    • @JoeWitAFro
      @JoeWitAFro 2 года назад

      Are you so sure about this? On the stock 2jzgte cooling system that pipe that runs alongside the block to the water pump is a RETURN which sends hot water that leaves out of the back of the head through the heater core and connects to that pipe to be sent through the radiator.
      The coolant also flows through the head; and exists to the throttle body (also hot ass coolant); which wraps underneath the intake manifold and connects to the same return the heater core is dumped into. I feel the way he did it in the video here is correct if deleting the heater core and could only be improved by taking the typical throttle body coolant flow and route that to the top of the radiator or upper radiator pipe in addition. This would create two coolant exits on either side of the head like intended from Toyota.
