Hey man so question, when you record guitar do you put a mic by your amp or do you put it into an audio interface.

Also man just one more thing what mic do you use for it.
On this one I just used a Shure SM57 but I usually like to also use a condenser mic too and blend them together. Also quick tip if you didn’t know already, recording the same guitar parts and then panning one in the left ear and one in the right ear adds a LOT of depth to a mix and then adding more guitar layers to that also helps make the guitars sound huge. For this I was being kids lazy and just recorded a guitar left and a guitar right and then added in another guitar in the middle for the chorus
