- Join us as we visit the very small Dunes Leisure Funfair in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, England for the very first time on the channel
This tiny amusement park on the seaside is home to a handful of classic fair rides including a Waltzer, Dodgems, Twister a 1960’s Ghost Train a Caterpillar coaster and the very rare American Miner Mike Runaway Train built by Wisdom Rides, this is the only one of it’s kind in the UK
Due to limited time we only went for the 2 coaster credits and classic Ghost Train which we all loved, before making our way to Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells for the rest of the day

Hey Andy, I don’t know if you were aware but the fun fair has now shut at mablethorpe, went there the other day to film a vlog and see if the rumours were true and it turns out it is. Devastated to be there and see all the workers take down the rides that I used to ride as a child and so,e of the rides had already gone, truely upset but thank you for visiting there and filming a vlog of the fair that I truely loved...

Great vlog. As a kid that's where I went for all my summer holidays not been for a very long time
He keeps making videos and I can't stop watching them. I know nothing about rides at all really but....andy you just make me want to keep watching. The German festival video was amazing the one with the stupidly high spinning pole ride. Excellent stuff my man you are the optimus prime of coaster vids. As far as being nearly 40 and doing small rides. .......lifes a rollercoaster you've just got to ride it

Another great vlog . I will have to visit the Ghost Train. All the ride operators seemed very friendly . They have 1p and 5p pushers at Hemsby near Great Yarmouth.

You could have flown on a delayed flight to Australia and back by the time it took the caterpillar to do one lap. Another classic epic video nice one Andy.

miner mikes in the US are more popular in FEC fun zone,fun centers or really small family leisure parks.
Really good Andy and back in 2005 I went to Mablethorpe and been to a Seal Sanctuary and it's really good
My son's first coaster, and your not in my town (Cleethorpes) lol. My parents live walking distance from Dunes Leisure too. The east coast is my hunting ground at the moment especially for creding up my little one.
When you go to Fun fairs I enjoy you going on Ghost trains, Dodgems just how excited you get makes it for me.

My dad is mates with the guy who runs the mine train and apparently the twister is getting a new led lighting package! And the mine train operator has retired it was his last season last year.

Neil Williams he was just being generous I think because we stopped on the drop when we shouldn’t have plus the park was very quiet
It says the cattarpillar will close in September on the rcdb
Theme Park Wicker that’s because it’s privately owned and will then travel around when the park closes for the winter season

David Hall yeah man, my grandparents bought a The White Horse pub in Alford and when my parents got married they moved there as well, long story but we moved back to Morecambe when I was 3yrs old
Coaster Crazy Well I now live in Oldham. My parents now live just outside Skegness in Wainfleet. I was over visiting in May and went to Mablethorpe and Fantasy Island. Got my first ever go on Odyssey as it was open for once! 😳 Fantasy Island has improved so much from what it used to be, definitely something to be proud of on the East coast. Well enjoy your trip to the home county 👍🏻
Looks like a good little fair that miner Mike looks cool but the caterpillar is probably the worst caterpillar I seen it not bad at all just looks way slower than other caterpillars

It's a bit worrying when your going around on a ride and the operator is try trying to fix it.
Hard Worker there was nothing actually wrong with it, what happened was he had tightened the brakes in the morning because it was raining and he hadn’t loosened them when it dried up therefore we stopped lol

the coaster universe yes I know, and so did I in the end, Theme Park Worldwide also have almost 180,000 subscribers and have been going longer ! They just wanted to meet us and check out our gear before going on the rides
