Some clarifications on Book VIII
You joke that this book seems disconnected, but everything about it seems to follow up on plot points established in Book IV! The biggest reason why Alfonse and Veronica are on the hit list is something that Goat Mommy said back near the climax of that, that he's been marked for death since killing Hel, and his list of GODS REJECTED have only grown since then. Veronica seems more caught up in this, but even she holds some responsibility on the death of Embla.
Henriette also being on the kill order is funny, as it is also something she implied WAY BACK with her Valentine form's special quotes, that she holding an IMMENSE amount of power and she doesn't have the best control over it. We don't know what she done, but there might be something within Norse Mythology that explains this one. That or the odd coincidence that everyone in the Helping Hands share the Askran Royalty design and her overall symbology...
Also you guys got confused, Nidelheimr is Reginn's realm but no one in the Helping Hands is from there. No one is a dwarf. Everyone comes directly from the Yggdrasil mythology. Reginn and Otr are also native to Nidelheimr, only Fafnir is from the Real World and got pulled into the politics by Eitri. Reginn is from the old royal family that got coup'd by Otr's family.
EDIT: Speaking of which, Ratatoskr was foreshadowed back in Book IV too! Anna dreamt she was a squirrel on a great tree!
Hi! Just for clarification on the first half, we weren't saying this plot line seems disconnected from all previous books, just that it seems more tied into book III, V and VI than it does to VII. More specifically, Toasty was saying it was odd that Feh's narration was acting as though we "just" fixed things with Veronica when that was actually two whole books ago now, at which point Dean clarified that all the events of book VII were undone and that since they never wound up occurring in universe, it truly hasn't been that long since the stuff with Veronica was resolved.
Also that's a really great catch with the Anna line! I didn't remember that at all

I estimated that the man's name with big arms was "Eikþyrnir" and the horned girl holding the horned trumpet was "Heiðrún".
I found it from: Anatoly Liberman suggests that Heiðþyrnir, the name of the lowest heaven in Scandinavian mythology (from heið "bright sky"), was cut into two, and on the basis of those halves the names of the heavenly stag Eikþyrnir and the heavenly goat Heiðrún were formed. The origin of -þyrnir is not entirely clear, but the associations with thorns is, most probably, due to folk etymology

Reginn is supposedly from Nithavellir, land of dwarves. In mythology, Nidhogg is a serpent that gnaws on the roots of Yggdrasil.
The moose dude and purple-haired woman either are Sol and Mani, or represent an elk and a goat that reside on Yggdrasil.

I absolutely love her art. Top tier in my opinion and I love both Bridal Tiki and Rearmed Ophelia as well. She looks better without pants.
Rearmed Lucina would be fine if not for the lack of pants. It just looks awkward without them.

Cmon she literally has embla power atleast half portion of it she has the ability to defend herself against that Níðhöggr she could have the potential power to defeat her also here how I think Níðhöggr will trick Veronica to drinking that poisonous tea. She will grow closer to her each time tricking her with her friendly domnieur until one day they grow really close and then she shatters Veronica heart and she betrays Vero by poisoning her tea which would be so sad poor Veronica she can't catch a break from betrayal first Letizia now this evil snek :(
But here's thing that might happen Veronica might be able defend herself against her to prevent Níðhöggr from killing her before she falls down then possibly my guess is either Sharena and askr trio or most probably herinette will see her and save her since it seems Veronica is in her castle in that scene and the order must have gone with the new oc to discover the new threat!
Leaving Herinette being the potential candidate to save Veronica from the poisonous drink she drank by help of the organisation that saves lives which our new oc is from so yeah!
But geniuley hope Veronica gets her revenge and kick her ass!
Cmon IS don't make Veronica a damsel in distress even in her own book she was but hopefully in this one she isn't and helps the order in defeating the villains and big bad oc! Pls IS she deserves it :(

I'm happy that you're still hopeful and happy in your reactions! I know it's good to voice out bad things about the game, I just don't like watching them cause I get sad if people are also sad.
I think the pantslessness would be better if the attacking art doesn't weirdly focus on her crotch lol. Also, poor Vaike, man... Literally the only playable Awakening character to not appear whatsoever in FEH.

It's also a new Rearm axe so there's that considering the old Rearm axe wasn't that great I think.

Al aint dying anytime soon he survive Gullveig. Not sure about the mother thou i want her to live but its Fire Emblem they dont like parents at all much........ Except when the parents are the protagonist of the game i guess....... Veronica might get save and might properly join the crew maybe.

Rearmed Lucina looks fucking awful. Her eyes look a little far apart, why couldn’t they just give her pants, AND THE FIRE EMBLEM LOOKS SO FLAT IN HER ATTACK ART LIKE ITS MADE OF CARDBOARD-

Not excited at all. The book is gonna be predictable with Henrietta dying and Veronica needing to be rescued once again. More Awakening characters since that and 3H are the only things that sell.
Blazing blade would sell prolly when Lyn comes back at least once a year or so......
