      komodo vs gemini
      low light/day light
      Also how many hours can you put on your gemini before it will need serving.?

      @@icecreaman2010 unfortunately I sold the Gemini to get the Raptor so I can only do a test with those 2 cameras. Never had to service my Gemini, had a few 100 hours on it

    I was thinking of picking up one of these as a b-cam because I’ve seen full kits for less than $3000. Crazy to think they were $40,000 at one point. Haha.

      Hey mate, I have used fcpx since 2010 pretty much, at the time it looked like premiere ahah. I sometimes use Premiere and Davinci when I need specific functions.

    When filming handheld on the boat did you you any of the lens stabilization options? If so which one

    • @GuillaumeCornetfilms
      @GuillaumeCornetfilms  2 года назад +1

      everything handheld but the 70-200 lens is stabilised. Next time I'd probably use a Ronin but the trick part is too mount it somewhere

      @@GuillaumeCornetfilms You're a legend man! I currently have the komodo, I film a lot of action including stuff for Nascar. Pretty sure I'm gonna sell the komodo to get a Gemini for better framerate options

      @GuillaumeCornetfilms  2 года назад

      @@RayceMortensen It's the only downside to the komodo imo, the lack of high speed frame rates indeed. Tho the global shutter gives such a nice look to fast action stuff, tough decision to make. I couldn't make it personally so I decided to cut my arm and get both ahah

      @@GuillaumeCornetfilms not at all. this is just an absolute overkill for real estate videography. I have seen folks with a gh5, sony a6000, canon and nikon dslrs very good quality videos.. I thought red was more beneficial to the big media Hollywood industry or rentals. Well I guess I was badly mistaken...
