Paragus low-key wasn't that bad of a guy in the new movie tbh. He just had Broly on a shock collar but that was solely because he couldn't control a power even he couldn't understand. Like imagine you raising a kid and he gets mad one day and instantly gains the power to destroy the whole world, many of y'all would like to think y'all could play the understanding saint but that's a nerve racking situation you couldn't begin to understand 😂
You can’t turn someone into a “good guy” if he doesn’t think that he’s evil. Freiza’s birth right was to be evil, emperor of the universe. In his mind he is above all of them. Only overshadowed by the Gods and Angels. The reason why he hates the saiyans so much is exactly because he think that they don’t deserve such power despite them training more than he ever had. Also he’s racist af. He’s grown to bear the fact Goku is alive. But i think he’ll always hate Goku because he’s humiliated more than once by being straight up stronger.
Yeah, but my thing is that if Frieza were to reform, that would change Dragon Ball forever, and we’d be out of a main villain. Also, I don’t think Frieza could or ever would change his ways. I think the reason why Piccolo and Vegeta found redemption was because in a way, Goku freed them from their evil ways and helped them see they have free will and full control over their own lives. The only reason Piccolo tried to kill Goku in the first place was bc it was revenge for the original Demon King Piccolo, and Vegeta hated Goku for “betraying” the Saiyans. They were never truly purely evil, and they realized that only because they built connections with people who were close to Goku, and learned how to care about others. Frieza doesn’t value friendship or other people like that, because he’s pathologically incapable of being someone other than a ruthless, heartless, maniacal sociopathic who sees himself as above everyone else. He hates Saiyans, especially Goku, more than anything else and it’s no secret that he’s not a very forgiving person. He actually TRAINED to get strong enough to kill Goku, so that speaks volumes about how deep that hatred goes. But what I don’t understand is if Frieza really despises Goku that much, how come he hasn’t killed him sooner? In the last arc, he had a golden opportunity to kill Goku right then and there, but he didn’t. Maybe he’s saving that kill for a different occasion, which is dumb because now he’s just giving Goku a chance to get stronger. Or, it’s possible that after everything they’ve been through together, Frieza could hold a soft spot for Goku and views him as the closest thing he has to a “friend”. But he knows he’s gonna have to kill him eventually. They’ve been beefing for like over 15 years, and it wouldn’t make sense to go that far just to fall so short at the finish line.
Just because Paragus wasn’t a good person doesn’t mean Frieza killing him was a good deed, especially after the fact he only did it to make Broly angry just so he could kill two actual good people.
There is no way in hell they’d let that happen. Frieza’s going to die, period. Not only did Frieza kill Krillin, almost mortally wound Piccolo on Namek and Gohan in RoF, enslave and destroy at least thousands of planets, but killed their entire race. No way in hell Goku would be okay with that, much less Vegeta.
Most of the fighters Z fighters were villains at some point. Most of the evil deeds done by Frieza is done Vegeta as well like: 1) Vegeta kills millions of species around the world when invading different planet. 2) Vegeta tried to kills Goku and remaining Z fighters. 3) Vegeta kills harmless Namekians and enjoyed killing them in Namek Sega. 4) Vegeta kills bystander on stadium just to fight with Goku. So saying, Goku will not forgive Frieza is not right. Infact Goku does not hold grudges against any fighters. Currently, Frieza is in similar phase like Vegeta was in Namek Sega, sure Frieza is evil right now but who know maybe in 20 year Frieza might become the part of Z fighters like every past villains have become.
@@daniishere1009 Yeah, true, but then you consider the fact that Vegeta, while enjoying slaughtering the Namekians, was working for Frieza, a much more malevolent force. Nah, I prefer him as evil. And him being evil is a crucial point in Z Goku's character development, until Super ruined it.
