Mp4 is a completely different truck all together, its has an american DD13/14 engine found in the Cascadias and some other freightliners. While Mp2 has Daimler's OM 501 engine. This means, let alone, trying to fit an MP4 cabin on an Mp2 frame, even the dashboard, its wiring loom n all other electronic components are different. I think what the guy was trying to say, they took the old MP2 grill signage and replaced it with an MP3 grill signage. To convert a V6 chassis and mount a straight engine is impossible because even the chassis dimensions and engine mounting brackets are positioned differently. At least trying to convert a Mercedes Axor with straight engine chassis would be a much easier task than trying to modify a V6 chassis to mount a straight engine. Also, MP4 are useless trucks and dirty cheap everywhere. Why would you go thro the trouble of converting an MP2 to MP4? Please learn a thing or two about mechanical work before coming up with shyt like this. Also, all i see on the video is filler being used generously on the dented parts, instead of actual panet-beating work being done the right way. If you apply that amount of body filler, once the sun gets really hot, it will just start to crack, and you will be back to square one with your dented cabin. We don't allow shortcuts like this in the workshop.
You Guys really do some fantastic work. Looks great! How do you do a front end alignment when you replace a front axle to keep the front tires from wearing out unevenly? I was wondering how you perform that. Anyway, keep up the great work! Love these videos. PS. It looks like the radiator needs cleaned out. It looks FULL of dust and dirt. Hope it doesn't start running hot!
Amazing,the Actros still looks fantastic and with a fantastic amount of parts interchangeable you can make a older model look ten years younger! Still a fine truck and has aged to me so well. Another beautiful job gentleman
Which product is the paint. There is obviously no need for primer, there is no need for light adjustment either, so you have to assume that the Mercedes is of the same quality as when it left the Mercedes factory

Awesome repair. Are these Actross trucks any good to handle the Saudi-Arabia, Gulf transport. When I was in the Gulf I was used to the round nosed Mercedes-Benz trucks, especially the ones that did the Jordan, Lebanon, Syria agriculture products runs. They were very reliable trucks, the engines, transmission and running gear were solid.
Mp2 to mp3 maybe mp4 would be a different cab !
