how do you get the car to sound like this? i changed my exhaust to borla s-type and doesnt sound anything like these cars that have a big throaty sound
About 2500 for parts and another 1k if you don’t do it yourself for the mechanic and then you need your long tube headers and exhaust. So I’d say about 4k to get to the promised land 😊
Tengo un problema con mi carro Dodge Challenger 2009 RT motor Hemi 5.7 pierde potencia y se escucha el escape sordo alguien que me llega pasado lo mismo por favor pasa el tik
Fyi they idle rough bc of what's called valve overlap ... at idle rpm for an instant the intake and the exhaust valves are open at the same time causing a slight drop in compression for that moment , thus causing the engine to sound rough . or what "appears" to be an engine that's not properly tuned . But in fact they are . These higher lift longer duration cams allow more air/fuel into the combustion chambers making more hp and torque . Actually gives me goose bumps to hear a rough idling Hemi ;p my inner caveman I suppose lol Hope this helps my brother .

You put in a performance cam
Big exhaust angle and big induction angle in a camshaft. Something like that
If u are cammed then try borla atak or magnaflow bullets
Long tube headers
These cars have had cam swaps.

You can’t get there with just a tune.

They need to be tuned
Moreso your knowledge of the subject matter than them.
