@@_Jenk This fight was never canon to begin with, It's pretty much a reunion ever since they first met during the Saiyan Saga, Goku and Vegeta have build up a strong relationship as truce and partners in a way, however they are still considered rivals, rather than enemies.

Am I the only one bothered hy the fact that Goku is in a fresh new outfit (his end of Z outfit) and Vegeta is still stuck in his generic ass battle armor that for some reason became his standard even though by Buu he had stopped wearing it and began wearing other thing? Like, he has an outfit for the end of Z, did they jsut not bither to model it because the dlc is titled "Goku"?
The only reason he didnt have his armor on in the Buu saga was because he entered into the World Tournament which had rules for no armor. Hence why Saiyaman didnt have his helmet on.
Tbh I'm bothered that you're bothered by it. Vegeta trained and fought his entire life in armor like that, and Bulma even created a stronger version to handle his more powerful forms. He's even wearing armor like that to train under Whis and Beerus. Of course he'd wear it for this fight

What makes it more unlikely is the rumors of xenoverse 3 will begin production after the first dlc bundle of sparking zero. It would be different if sparking zero didn’t exist!
