Honestly , this is how I see Goku and Vegeta’s fight going, a constant Goku wins Vegeta loses or Vegeta wins Goku loses or a draw constantly happening. Basically their battles wouldn’t be predictable or have a clear winner, since they both have the same desire to train, get stronger and more skilled in their forms, especially in the Super Manga, they just want to get stronger and follow their own paths of strength and skill. They are more like clashing ideologies, or Yin and Yang, day and night.
Same, it makes no sense that hes on par with SSJ3 in SSJ2, but still this fight is gonna be insane (dont quote me on this but i think Vegeta HAS ssj3 just doesnt use it)
Yes and no. Considering the battle they had at first, they used alot of their ki, but imagine if they went for a ki struggle as the first attack, it would do alot more than just shake the earth.

This is a perfect final battle for the game, I would say. The fìnal clash was amazing, especially the switch from Galick Gun to Final Flash. Now I can only hope for them to expand to GT.

That's actually Dragon Ball Online. Absent stuff from both Super and GT it's about as official as it gets considering the story and timeline past EoZ was written by Toriyama. In that, it says that as Goku and Vegeta began to feel their age catch up with them they headed out into space for one last battle. Years later, supernovas could be seen from Earth that were likely clashes from their battle.

Believe it is also talked about that he wrote the ending for Goku and Vegeta leaving Earth together knowing their bodies would begin the rapid aging that Saiyans experience toward the end of their life, and instead left shortly before and caused *something* to go supernova that was seen decades later. Beyond that, things that were written went to him for approval. Not him actually writing. The thing that people talk about it being Canon is Toriyama's own little robot page personalitiy, directly talking about it (DBO itself, which would jave no choice but to include the then histories) being the official continuation. Could of course been anyone using the robot to fake it being Toeiyama's words. But generally speaking, people don't do that out of respect. Assuming for the sake of argument it was legit, who knows anymore if he still feels that way. Thus the issue with the concept of "canon" when a writer steps away and comes back. They fuck their own shit up constantly to the point that Canon doesn't mean a thing anymore.

OH boy what a End to Z, even half a year later, still gives me chills by just how nuts is to see Vegeta switching to Final Flash, in a such powerful beam clash, it was a short dlc, but this end really delivered, heck of a fight.

I dont know how many know this, but in DB MMO, in the lore of that game It is said that Goku and Vegeta when they where old they went to a far away galaxy to go all out and died at the same time fighting I imagine their final moments, where exacle like this around the time 21:38
What an amazing DLC this was. I feel comfortable calling DBZ kakarot the best DB game simply because of moments like this that we never got to see prior to this game and now we get it and it all makes sense in terms of character writing. Every piece of dialogue Goku and Vegeta had in this fight were all in character. 10/10 DLC and I hope that DBZ kakarot expands to cover the DBZ movies, GT and Super in the future.

I'd say it's probably because of Focused Energy. Their Ki Blasts might be a gazillion times more powerful than the sun, but it's focused enough so it won't destroy the Earth more than a gigantic hole on the ground
I wonder how many DB fans care about the whole Goku vs Vegeta thing. The original manga barely covered their rematch in the Buu arc, since its real purpose was reviving Buu and setting up Vegeta's sacrifice, while the anime tried to amp it up with things like "omg they do the beam struggle again" though without any suspense. Modern DB really turns it into a caricature as it does to so many iconic DBZ moments. There's just nothing new to see, it doesn't matter to the story, it even regresses Vegeta's growth.
Not really. Just because you admit someone is Number 1 doesn't mean you give up. It just becomes a goal to surpass. Personally I think Vegeta in GT is more well-rounded as a character. "Saiyan blood flows through my veins AND I CALL THE EARTH MY HOME!!"
I care for it more to see the growth in their characters and relationship than the fight tbh, we've seen it a million times. I really liked them having the heart-to-hearts during this fight more than anything.
Yeah, it really does. Vegeta saying he doesn’t understand what drives Goku and only caring about surpassing him at all costs-that just flies in the face of the development he had in the Boo arc. Hell, him wearing the armor is the icing on the cake. They flanderized Vegeta all to hell just to have more fights. If anything, End of Z era Vegeta should be more like a World Martial Arts Champion in his own right than anything. Not constantly proclaiming he’s the prince of a race that has like five currently living members, and the rivalry with Kakarrot being like it was with him and Piccolo: a bid to push each other further and further instead of constantly competing.

But at least he's supposed to understand him a lot better since the Kid Buu fight instead of asking him like this. Then again Toriyama is barely involved in writing modern DB let alone this game. His writing of characters has a subtle brilliance and depth to it, without which characters like Goku fall flat.

While DBZ Kakarot has had its share of ups and downs throughout its lifetime, this feels like the developers at CyberConnect2 really found their rhythm with this fight. Kudos to you RajmanGaming for providing this exhilarating video of a fight that in of itself is exciting and visually breathtaking. Perhaps the key to its success is that this sequence effectively captures the feel of Goku's thrill of fighting powerful opponents. The action is rapid while still being coherent and its supported by a surging, richly soulful soundtrack that serves as a variation of SSJ3 Goku's fight against Kid Buu and embodies what it means to be a saiyan. The excitement of looking to the future to achieve something better. 10/10.

Where do I even begin? Well, first off I love that they redid their epic poses before the fight began. 😎 0:32-0:35-0:37-0:40 And I love that little nod to the Buu saga where Vegeta felt disrespected because Goku held back because now he's pleased that Goku's going all out. 😊 5:35-5:38 The legendary beam struggle was also top notch! 20:35-20:40, 20:52-20:54 and 20:58 I also love the subtle hints at how far both Goku and Vegeta have come as Saiyan warriors. 21:00, 21:10 and 21:28 My favorite part about this fight is that right before that epic explosion at the end, Goku and Vegeta smile at each other, proving once again how awesome their rivalry is and how strong their friendship has become! ❤ 21:35 And I won't lie, I was tickled by the fact that Vegeta after surviving all that still wants to keep going while Goku wants to end it in a draw. 😂 22:00, 22:12, 22:22-22:25, 22:31-22:36 and 22:43-22:49 And it's not until They're so tired, they can't even stand up anymore(not without needing to catch their breath anyway), that Vegeta finally accepts the draw and even then, Vegeta vows to get stronger so he can win next time, something that Goku suspected he would say. 23:48, 24:00-24:03, 24:10-24:16 and 24:24 Looks like there's no end to this rivalry is there? 😏 That heartwarming moment where Vegeta and Goku have that heart to heart after their epic rematch really spoke to me though. ❤ 24:30 I think that deep down, Vegeta knows that Goku will always be the best, but now he wants to get stronger and show Goku how far he's come. And not only does Vegeta get confirmation of what he might've known about Goku already, but it demonstrated that in the end Goku has always been the same sweet, kindhearted Saiyan warrior who lives for the thrill of battle and will always push himself to get stronger(Seriously, never change Goku 😊). 💕 24:54, 25:48, 26:00-26:05 and 26:12 I think when and if we get a definitive end of the Dragon Ball franchise, we NEED to have one last epic showdown between Goku and Vegeta(hopefully it's just like this, if not better). 💖

Goku SSJ3 Surprised at Vegeta SSJ2's Power then again, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE PRINCE OF SAIYAN POWER 5:44. Vegeta SSJ2 Rage boosts greatly surpassed SSJ3 Goku during Battle of the Gods. Just because Goku is SSJ3 Doesn't mean Vegeta's power won't match or surpass Super Saiyan 3 Goku. It has been proven In-Canon that Vegeta can surpass Goku. This is DRAGONBALL Z. Just being able to briefly relive the most classic rivalry in Anime is beyond amazing. Everytime I play this scene, I get goosebumps and chills, it's just THAT good. The game itself was losing cool points personally, but after playing this over 50 times, the game has redeemed it's original quality. Anyone notice? Kakarot had to turn his Kamehameha into a Super Kamehameha to push back a regular Galick Gun from Vegeta. Vegeta, being a master tactician, saw this and immediately adapted, something he couldn't do when they first fought in the Saiyan Saga. Right before a Super Kamehameha hits, Vegeta deflects it with a powerful Final Flash. Seeing this is just crazy amazing. Seeing a Final Kamehameha basically form from the energy clash, coming from different sources is amazing. Kakarot was able to keep Vegeta's Final Flash at bay, putting his Super Kamehameha to its limit. Truthfully, if Vegeta had done the same with his Final Flash, Kakarot would have taken another L from Vegeta.

That's actually Dragon Ball Online. Absent stuff from both Super and GT it's about as official as it gets considering the story and timeline past EoZ was written by Toriyama. In that, it says that as Goku and Vegeta began to feel their age catch up with them they headed out into space for one last battle. Years later, supernovas could be seen from Earth that were likely clashes from their battle.

Believe it is also talked about that he wrote the ending for Goku and Vegeta leaving Earth together knowing their bodies would begin the rapid aging that Saiyans experience toward the end of their life, and instead left shortly before and caused *something* to go supernova that was seen decades later.
Beyond that, things that were written went to him for approval. Not him actually writing. The thing that people talk about it being Canon is Toriyama's own little robot page personalitiy, directly talking about it (DBO itself, which would jave no choice but to include the then histories) being the official continuation.
Could of course been anyone using the robot to fake it being Toeiyama's words. But generally speaking, people don't do that out of respect. Assuming for the sake of argument it was legit, who knows anymore if he still feels that way. Thus the issue with the concept of "canon" when a writer steps away and comes back. They fuck their own shit up constantly to the point that Canon doesn't mean a thing anymore.

OH boy what a End to Z, even half a year later, still gives me chills by just how nuts is to see Vegeta switching to Final Flash, in a such powerful beam clash, it was a short dlc, but this end really delivered, heck of a fight.

What an amazing DLC this was. I feel comfortable calling DBZ kakarot the best DB game simply because of moments like this that we never got to see prior to this game and now we get it and it all makes sense in terms of character writing. Every piece of dialogue Goku and Vegeta had in this fight were all in character.
10/10 DLC and I hope that DBZ kakarot expands to cover the DBZ movies, GT and Super in the future.
"the best DB game"🤣🤣 kakarot has nice visuals and probably the best story mode of all but that's it, the fighting style is just 1 button combo, theres no multiplayer, most dlcs are just a scam where you have to pay around 14 bucks just to have extra 2-3 hours of playtime aka milking the fanbase, for people who like the story and dont mind wasting money like that yes its cool but saying this is best db game 😂😂, tenkaichi 3 will always be the goat of dragon ball games and i have hopes that sparking zero might surpass it

I wonder how many DB fans care about the whole Goku vs Vegeta thing. The original manga barely covered their rematch in the Buu arc, since its real purpose was reviving Buu and setting up Vegeta's sacrifice, while the anime tried to amp it up with things like "omg they do the beam struggle again" though without any suspense. Modern DB really turns it into a caricature as it does to so many iconic DBZ moments. There's just nothing new to see, it doesn't matter to the story, it even regresses Vegeta's growth.
Not really. Just because you admit someone is Number 1 doesn't mean you give up. It just becomes a goal to surpass. Personally I think Vegeta in GT is more well-rounded as a character. "Saiyan blood flows through my veins AND I CALL THE EARTH MY HOME!!"
I care for it more to see the growth in their characters and relationship than the fight tbh, we've seen it a million times. I really liked them having the heart-to-hearts during this fight more than anything.

Yeah, it really does. Vegeta saying he doesn’t understand what drives Goku and only caring about surpassing him at all costs-that just flies in the face of the development he had in the Boo arc. Hell, him wearing the armor is the icing on the cake. They flanderized Vegeta all to hell just to have more fights.
If anything, End of Z era Vegeta should be more like a World Martial Arts Champion in his own right than anything. Not constantly proclaiming he’s the prince of a race that has like five currently living members, and the rivalry with Kakarrot being like it was with him and Piccolo: a bid to push each other further and further instead of constantly competing.

But at least he's supposed to understand him a lot better since the Kid Buu fight instead of asking him like this. Then again Toriyama is barely involved in writing modern DB let alone this game. His writing of characters has a subtle brilliance and depth to it, without which characters like Goku fall flat.

While DBZ Kakarot has had its share of ups and downs throughout its lifetime, this feels like the developers at CyberConnect2 really found their rhythm with this fight. Kudos to you RajmanGaming for providing this exhilarating video of a fight that in of itself is exciting and visually breathtaking. Perhaps the key to its success is that this sequence effectively captures the feel of Goku's thrill of fighting powerful opponents. The action is rapid while still being coherent and its supported by a surging, richly soulful soundtrack that serves as a variation of SSJ3 Goku's fight against Kid Buu and embodies what it means to be a saiyan. The excitement of looking to the future to achieve something better. 10/10.

The rematch to end all rematches! The rematch between Goku and Vegeta is so awesome! 😎 I love it so much! 🤩 This fight singlehandedly made me wanna check out the new DLC for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot! Where do I even begin?
Well, first off I love that they redid their epic poses before the fight began. 😎 0:32-0:35-0:37-0:40 And I love that little nod to the Buu saga where Vegeta felt disrespected because Goku held back because now he's pleased that Goku's going all out. 😊 5:35-5:38 The legendary beam struggle was also top notch! 20:35-20:40, 20:52-20:54 and 20:58 I also love the subtle hints at how far both Goku and Vegeta have come as Saiyan warriors. 21:00, 21:10 and 21:28 My favorite part about this fight is that right before that epic explosion at the end, Goku and Vegeta smile at each other, proving once again how awesome their rivalry is and how strong their friendship has become! ❤ 21:35 And I won't lie, I was tickled by the fact that Vegeta after surviving all that still wants to keep going while Goku wants to end it in a draw. 😂 22:00, 22:12, 22:22-22:25, 22:31-22:36 and 22:43-22:49 And it's not until They're so tired, they can't even stand up anymore(not without needing to catch their breath anyway), that Vegeta finally accepts the draw and even then, Vegeta vows to get stronger so he can win next time, something that Goku suspected he would say. 23:48, 24:00-24:03, 24:10-24:16 and 24:24 Looks like there's no end to this rivalry is there? 😏
That heartwarming moment where Vegeta and Goku have that heart to heart after their epic rematch really spoke to me though. ❤ 24:30 I think that deep down, Vegeta knows that Goku will always be the best, but now he wants to get stronger and show Goku how far he's come. And not only does Vegeta get confirmation of what he might've known about Goku already, but it demonstrated that in the end Goku has always been the same sweet, kindhearted Saiyan warrior who lives for the thrill of battle and will always push himself to get stronger(Seriously, never change Goku 😊). 💕 24:54, 25:48, 26:00-26:05 and 26:12 I think when and if we get a definitive end of the Dragon Ball franchise, we NEED to have one last epic showdown between Goku and Vegeta(hopefully it's just like this, if not better). 💖

While I wish they went the non canon group and gave Vegeta SSJ3. Im just as impressed that Vegeta brought his SSJ2 to gokus SSJ3 level (which he has done in Super) thus proving that without SSJ3 Vegeta wins. Alllssoo in their final clash when Vegeta switched from Galic gun to Final flash (which was Awesome) I wish Goku did the Super Dragon fist before the draw happened.

This is what I'm talking about. I want a MOVIE where Goku and Vegeta settle the score once more with how far they've come as far as their power and strength is involved. Not that little sparring match that I saw on Super Hero where they couldn't even use Blasts or transformations. I wanna see them go ALL OUT. THAT! Is the battle that could be the moment of truth. If not a movie then at least somewhere in the manga.

This is DRAGONBALL Z. Just being able to briefly relive the most classic rivalry in Anime is beyond amazing. Everytime I play this scene, I get goosebumps and chills, it's just THAT good. The game itself was losing cool points personally, but after playing this over 50 times, the game has redeemed it's original quality. Anyone notice? Kakarot had to turn his Kamehameha into a Super Kamehameha to push back a regular Galick Gun from Vegeta. Vegeta, being a master tactician, saw this and immediately adapted, something he couldn't do when they first fought in the Saiyan Saga. Right before a Super Kamehameha hits, Vegeta deflects it with a powerful Final Flash. Seeing this is just crazy amazing. Seeing a Final Kamehameha basically form from the energy clash, coming from different sources is amazing. Kakarot was able to keep Vegeta's Final Flash at bay, putting his Super Kamehameha to its limit. Truthfully, if Vegeta had done the same with his Final Flash, Kakarot would have taken another L from Vegeta.
That last second switch to final flash was peak, kinda wish goku had another technique to swap into
