The lead actor would look great with a haircut like San Choi from Ateez. He looks fabulous with his hair slick bad too! And the person who directed this did a great job, the part where they are talking...he is shirtless and she is under his white shirt is excellent.

But that ending had me sitting up in my bed, it was so unexpected! Truly kudos to the writers because while stepmother deserves everything she gets, man I feel bad for her evil heartbroken ass. Also, honorable mention to the "realistic" sex scenes. Had me cracking up.
The most surprising thing about this drama is the plot twist with the mom and the stepmother at the end. Like, WHAT!? Wow, China. How did that slip through the censors? Other than that, the leads make a good and effective couple who stay together the whole show. With that body. Phew. *fans self*
I’m loving the plot twist at the end. Seriously one of the best twists I’ve seen in a Chinese drama. Loved everything about this movie except for two things: not enough screen time bonding with the daughter and lack of communication between the couple. If they had shortened the time of them keeping shit from each other and spent it finding the daughter and then bonding as a family, it would have turned this from a really good movie to a great one. Also more movies with the male lead please cause daaaayyyyuuuummmmm!!!!!!!!!! 🥵🔥

Loved the fact that the female lead had depression and didn't let that stop her from living her life. Loved her relationship with her bestie and the fact that the ML did not block their relationship and that handshake was so funny. In this case though I loved the fact that ML was a one and done and never looked at another woman and he went hard for his female standing in front of, next to and behind her. Loved the playfulness of the ML towards his love and you could tell that he did love her in the way he cared for her. I actually didn't expect that plot twist but wow it was a doozy! Well played by the FL giving the stepmother the box her mother had left and the father was a piece of crap from beginning to end not deserving of his wife or his daughter. Why do the mistresses and their children always feel like they are entitled to something they're not? Anyway this one actually almost made me cry twice near the end and is going on my save list. Acting realistic and production was great!
This drama clearly illustrates the problem with keeping important things secret. Because the leads don't share information, they each work independently and at cross purposes, they get into problem situations that they could have avoided. I understand that trust is hard to build in such circumstances, but it's invaluable.
That plot twist at the end though!!! Like damn!!! I guess since its a short cdrama that's why they're not that strict? Anyways stepmom must've gone crazy seeing her beloved commit suicide because what kind of logic is that?!? "Oh you're mother, the person I loved the most in the world committed suicide so I'm going to torture you because I'm heart broken", what the hell girl?!? If it we're me I would've taken care of her, probably treat her better than my own kids since she's the only remaining part I have of my beloved, hell i would adopt her myself and then help her get revenge on his scumbag of a father, oh well to each their own I guess...........anyways good drama so far and ML is hooooooot 🥵🥵🥵!!!!!!!!! The plot was good and the LM is new and very handsome. He was playfull with the LF. I would like 5o see how he does working with other Leading female. The LF is new and not bad either.
