There was more to the ending that was not shown. All the children were shown together with their "fathers" giving them back to their real parents. Mingxi promised to let the "fathers" spend time with the children. It was explained why Mu Chen did not die when the bomb exploded but unfortunately I forgot what happened! Sorry gang for that part! 😊
