- Hey guys,
Final Molten Core raid of phase 2.5, this was by far some of my best Damage/Parses (97%-99%) and performance to date.
07/02/2020 - PHASE 2.5
⭕ World Buffs + Flask + PI with BIS raid gear used⭕
⭕Gear I use is a balance of High Mana/Crit/SP, I do not stack raw SP⭕
⭕Every boss fight is MAX RANK Skills no down ranking⭕
⭕"NO INNERVATES"⭕
Were used in the boss fights so I could push my Mana bar and the limit of the elemental shaman class staying competitive and breaking the meme label.

Love seeing “bad” specs pull these big numbers
Not that hard when overgeared in an environment like MC where stuff just dies very fast and you can utilize the frontloaded dpm that ele offers. This would have been a lot more impressive if he did so in naxx.

He doesn't even have full World Buffs. His DPS would increase a lot with 8-10% more crit.

What are these 3-4 hits on a single target with CL+ES? wouldn't that be 2 hits?
that would be the lightning bolts travelling to the boss , by the time 1-2 Light bolts hit u can cast EM with CL + ES and combo to see all the hits into a mega attack :)
I dont understand why your dps is so much higher, than the players at equal damage done?
The encounter starts at the same time for all players or what affects this?
I think it’s just how it’s calculated by recount, very strange tho I’m trying a new damage metre now :)

Uliic would you be able to help me with a macro? Something that casts elemental mastery, chain lightning and immediately after casts earth shock
Daniel Burley hey man, for that combo I don’t use a macro just have them single cast keybinded, so I’ll have my ELemental mastery pressed then straight after I’ll cast chain or light bolt and spam earth shock or frost shock depending on boss stituation, I’m not sure if there is a macro that can do that kind of cast sequence tho I’ll have a look online and private message ur YT if I do
@@Uliic thanks bro. I was thinking more for a pvp application to get that burst out quickly. I guess I'll have to get good at the single cast keybinds. I find sometimes even if I spam earth shock at the end of chain lightning it still comes out like half a second after
@@dnb888You can have EM and CL linked in a simple macro, but I don't think you can add ES at the end, as it's too long a cast time between CL and ES.
If you went 30-0-21 I think you'd be able to do
/Cast Nature's swiftness
/cast chain lightning
/cast Earth Shock.
30-0-21 might be a lot better for PvP if you have a lot of crit gear!

Wanna play ele in raids but I feel I’ll never be able to go because it’s classed as a LOL spec

I bet ele shamans have to use the most keybinds in raiding out of all classes, true or false?
As far as downranking and totems are concerned, probably. Especially early on in progression. You need ranks 10,9,8, and 1 of LightningB, ChainL, Max rank ES and rank 1, Fire Shock and Frost Shock. And of course all your heals! That hasn't touched the totems yet... which varies widely depending on the group you're in (Melee, healers, casters, tank) situationally (Tremor, Grounding, Poison cleanse, or resistance)
How Can you have highest dps but now number 1 on damage?

Just so people knows, dps meter is way off, just check logs on warcraftlogs for the numbers and they are really different. Enjoyed the vid though
Yeh my guild pointed it out when I uploaded it, not sure why recount shows it like that but I always go off Warcraft logs after every boss kill 😅, and thank you!

Max Mustermann for sure, here is the Luci, mag, gehen, baron, golemag fights on Warcraft logs, the others I recorded are form another weeks raid, nothing is fabricated, damage on bosses is correct but the way DPS is shown is not because oh how recount calculates damage per second : classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/nqMhKGva3fXyj2xm#fight=24&type=damage-done

the dps is wrong due to recount, the boss damage on bosses is correct there is nothing fabricated this is the first few bosses classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/nqMhKGva3fXyj2xm#fight=24&type=damage-done .

I played ele sham on classic... you're pumping dark runes and mana potions just to not go oom on old content like rag. Most fights in BWL cost me like 15g because I needed a dark rune and mana potion just to not go oom when the boss was 60% hp. Even after all that we don't even come close to the damage output of mage/warlock
GJ man! Expected higher dps though, on warcraft logs you didn't even hit 700dps in one fight. With BWL gear that should change (if your guild lets u roll on the juicy nef stuff ;)).

thanks, so i use max rank, and when i see the fight goes a bit too long i start rank 4 at about 800-1k mana like rag :)

the best thing about this video is that you didn't cheat by bringing all the possible world buffs, just the ubiqucuous cry of the dragonslayer. I guess it shows that elementals can be played in the easier raids

He cheats by playing with undergeared players in an environment where stuff dies generally fast to avoid OOMing and downranking, while having some of the best gear compared to the poorly geared (or bad) players in his raid. Of course he's gonna look good on the meters then.

It was two years ago when I made that comment and after it I remember I went to raids in vanilla as an elemental shaman and perfectly being able to pull my weight and perform well. Its fucking Vanilla, nobody cares about the miniscule size of your penis (aka, your ranking on the dps meters)
Nice damage prist Pi / flask hellps a lot
Going to try and see if I can raid with my ele, just them pots are expensive.

@@Jrpg_Music you can cut half of that from not flasking and sticking to elixirs only, but best best to raid on budget is get every world buff, it adds so much damage but i can never get time to stack them all due to my R14 grind : (

thank you! i do not but if you know any good ones i wouldn't mind testing some out for future raids it would help alot :)
@@Uliic I know that there are few addons like that I'll let you know. Personally I am very curious about actual numbers of nature resistance that bosses have. On private server Northdale I heard that most bosses have around 75 nature resistance. This addon might help you to calculate optimal penetration in the future. The funny thing is that there will be a large amount of gear combinations to try out in the future:). I wish you get the tear with no drama
Our tank will have thunder fury so hopefully that 25 nature resistance penetration helps a lot since we don’t have curse of elements for nature :(, I know that the nature resistance affects us a lot which sucks but it is a fun challenge man and yeah that’s so true the gear combinations every elemental will have a few choices depending on play style to mix and match, hehe will see how the tear goes crossing fingers we might get lucky xD
@@Uliic I have searched for mobresist addons and didn't not find any in Blizzard's addon list. But it seems that addon Details has plugins where you can check how much of your damage was absorbed. Also addon MilkScrollingBattleText says on each hit how much damage was resisted. By using numbers from those addons and resist table you can make a good assumption about actual resist value of any boss.
@@Uliic maybe your guild could run one shaman for nightfall proc and they can use stormstrike to buff up your damage.

That’s actually a good point, I should have noted that ele is so expensive to raid as 😂😭 I’ll keep that noted for my phase 3 gear video haha ty
@@Uliic i started as shadow with my priest, as soon as i realized i have to drink mana pots/runes like a mad man to to dps while getting a big NONO on most of the gear i wanted, i rerolled heal : D

Anyway, flask + ony's buff + Power Infusion every fight, nice numbers but doesn't really serve the cause that elemental shaman is a bad class in classics pve unfortunately

@@probablywrong8538 Enhancement as improved windfury totems and can wear nightfall so its not that bad.
Also a talented enhancement totem twists so their group get improved wf and 77 agility
Plus with the correct crit gear they can have flurry up as much as possible to help increase their procs on nightfall

yeh... idk why but your dps is suuuuper inflated. check your dmg compared to other peoples dmg/dps. how did someone do 2000 less dmg than you but 500 less dps overall? cmon now lol
in order to do that u need 250g per raid for the titan flask...

You were the only 91 parse dps.

Often happens with these types of players that post their meme spec dps on youtube. The only reason they look good is because they are tryharding and playing with generally bad players and/or extremely overgear their competition. This makes them and their spec look really good, when in reality it isnt.
Tfw the legend Klinda dies on Golemagg and you see him slowly fall off the bottom of the metres 😂. Also might be worth using details over recount. Your dps numbers are well off 😉

of course you can, the timer (damage per second) begins when you individually start doing damage - if a rogue has started hitting before you have, he will be higher on the damage (he's done more damage than you have so far) but you could be beating him on DPS because in the time you have been doing damage you have been doing more than him

Elemental is a leveling/pvp spec. You would help out more if you cast heals in raid.

But still I get the main point I guess, if everyone is * investing in an encounter * 100% of theirs possibilities like maximum damage dealing or outstanding aoe tanking etc. Elemental shaman invalidates, and only resto shaman fits this scenario. But at the same time elemental shaman is not a waste, especially if he is 1st on dps ^^ Who does really want to spend any additional minute in MC ? There is so much to do like farm 300g more for flasks... classic..

if your talking about BWL then yes back to the ground, working on longer fights and requiring Phase 3 BIS gear to get the top performance with quicker guild kill timers will be needed. once i have my phase 3 BIS and im pushing logs with all world buffs you will see it change drastically and i will be releasing a video when the time comes for it :)
