@@drafman1 I can literally hear the cogs turning inside your head very slowly but they are turning, lets take a journey into cognitive thinking... You hear the keyboard because its obviously his game play recorded, now it's possible he did live commentary or like i believe he recorded his game play keyboard sounds as well and then recorded himself commentating after the fact.
I weep for the future i really hope you aren't a Gen Z, my guess probably a Millennial the most worthless generation to ever exist on this planet...

Insane skill, i just run in and hit all the buttons and pray for big damage, this guy remains calm and utilizes all the strengths of the class. You should easily be at 500k subs.

Great video! I am torn between a shaman and hunter, obviously these duels are with geared chars and exectus is very very good but still a lot of the duels were very close, which puts me off being a hunter a bit as I am no where near as good, so I wouldn't even come close to winning :|

I'm watching your videos now, but I don't get how to change between trinkets so fast and how you use spell reflector so fast or Skull of impending doom when you have that massive sword all the time. So many great "ah-ha" moments watching you fight classes i'm currently losing to. TY.

I'm just starting in Classic with my first Hunter and I have a very noob question: how do you get out of combat in the middle of the duel so you could use the trap?

How come your scatter and frost traps don't seem to share a cooldown on live classic if you scatter feign trap you only get 8 seconds in between them coming out.

Hey man, i've binged most of your video's I know this one is a bit older so I hope you will see this message to respond, I was wondering why you were running a wolf as pet? Is furious howl strong with your build? im fairly new to classic, but I was wondering how a wind serpent would do, it would be able to get a lot of thunder strikes off after you trap. What other pets do you think are good for 1v1? Thank you so much for your amazing content
I'm nowhere near as skilled or knowledgeable as Executus, but I personally use a wind serpent, and it's been pretty great against heavier armored enemies (warriors, shaman, rogues) because of the nature damage of lightning breath that ignores armor. At lvl 48, with LB rank 4, it somewhat frequently crits for 140-150 damage, and happens every 4 or 5 seconds (more often if you buy the focus talent in the beast mastery tree, but you NEED the increased pet crit chance & damage talents to see the full potential imo). Also, the 20 yard range is incredibly useful for chasing down fleeing enemies combined with dive and aspect of the cheetah in bgs and wPvP. Wind serpents are already one of the highest base dps pets in the game, but I think lightning breath might actually put them higher than cats in PvP, or against heavily armored mobs but this is total speculation. I don't think people actually realize how much lightning breath crits for, and how often it casts. One con is their relatively slow attack speed (bad for interrupting spells), but I don't think its as big of a deal as people make it.
@@asiagobagel8293 Yeah, I'm running a cat right now, Humar the pridelord, I've definitely noticed his AS(1.3, don;t have brokentooth yet :P) is great vs casters but in 1v1 scenario's where you trap once or twice a fight and you get a bunch of extra lightning breaths off against high armor targets is pretty great as well. Plus like you said running down enemies. I think I will give a lightning serpent a try here pretty soon.

With the diminishing return between scatter shot > ice trap and the "melee leeway" on official classic, i'm not sure i will roll hunt even it was my class to go before all this info.

You need a weapon swapping macro. It is harder to do in vanilla some people use addons so the can /equip [item] , without addons on pserver you can use /script UseContainerItem(x,y). Where x,y gives the coordinates of the weapon in your bag. I believe in classic they will have modern wow macro support so you can use /equip without an addon.

I am using similar one which does not seem to work. What typically i am doing is e.g. during the duel/fight I need to stop moving -> use macro (cast FD) -> break FD by moving -> spam macro once more to make a trap before I enter combat. Does it work same way in your case?

@@macieks.5959 no you dont need to move in between. FD is broken by casting the trap. but clearly you need to spam the macro for it to work. chaining attacks in a macro is not allowed. so what the client will do is execute the first possible /cast and then stop. so for /cast freezing trap to happen you need to hit the macro again. now /cast feign death cant go off because its on cool down so /cast freezing trap is being executed if its not on CD aswell...

Have you got any advice for which class to play between Lock and Hunter? I'm primarily a pvp player and played shaman in vanilla initially but want to try something different this time around.
My concern with lock is that not having gear would mean i get close to 1shot a lot by warriors etc and my concern with hunters is that they're just not very good from memory. Any advice?
Hunters are great in PvP, skill is somewhat required. Warlocks are great too, but without gear they do get 1 shotted. A skillful lock can outplay almost every class. It's up to you, think about the different damage types and CC too.
