do you have to use the app from the same network over wifi or can you be in another country and control the plug as long as you can access the app and the timer can access the closest wifi ap.?
Saying you can set the lights by a timer is ambiguous. It all depends on how you can set the timer. So, my question is: can you specify an exact Time ON and an exact Time Off that will stay in effect until you disconnect or turn off the timer? I want to use this to operate my outdoor Christmas lights for On at 5pm and Off at 10pm.
The problem is, if you have a high speed router, has 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz, it will not work. It should pick up the 2-4ghz but noooo. You have to go into the router setup and save info as 2 separate systems, one as 2.4 ghz and the other 5 GHz. You then can select the 2.4 GHz. To much work and I do not want to change anything on. My Verizon Router.
This will be perfect for my knobbed air conditioner. Can always leave it engaged on and use the schedule too. The wiring seems safe on this.
You can't set separate schedule or timer for each device connected to it. The features control all connected devices together.
When u say anywhere, does that mean it works across the Internet also? Or anywhere while connected to local wifi? Thanks
I would like to know this too
