In this slice of vlog, we visit Sree’s hometown, Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh, to attend a family pooja followed by a delicious vegetarian lunch that also included a divine ghee pongal prepared over a ceremonial fire as naivedyam. It was also nice to see age-old customs and traditions celebrating the womenfolk of the house. We also caught a quick Krishnagiri breakfast, (actually I did, Sree was fasting!) along the way.

Sir: please share a fast review of the food thali ur having
Madam : let me peacefully eat 🤣🤣👍
వెళ్లిపోయినం is also a Telugu word,so mam is from Telugu State.
Beautiful saree and function
I laughed out loud when Sree said “now let me peacefully eat” 😂
మా తెలుగింటి ఆడ పడుచు మాకు ఎంతో గర్వం గా ఉంది తెలుగు సంప్రదాయం ను ఎంతో చక్కగా పాటిస్తున్నారు ధన్య వాదములు
Very happy to know that your better half is from our state and she is our "Telugu Aadapaduchu". Very delighted to hear some 'telugu' phrases. Pongal is too good.
But she is from TamilNadu :)
@@sangeethabaskaran3537 she is from Andhra Pradesh
@@ramamanikanta2223 but she was brought up in Tamil Nadu
Both Half Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu Sree Madam Mother is form Tamil Nadu and Father is from Andhra Pradesh
We love this family, don't we? :)
Oh Wowww..
Welcome to Andhra Pradesh sir..
My Hometown is very near to Kuppam..
Glad to know that mam is from Andhra Pradesh n u r Andhra Alludu(Mappillai)..
He is Christian
This is real india and hindu traditions. Love it . Food cooked unmatchable.
Very happy to know Madam is Telugu.
Muneeswara is very popular God in Chittoor District and the names like Munnemma,Muniswamy are prevalent in these areas.
Sree is from chittor
Muneshwara is famous in Andra Tamil Nadu n Karnataka
Glad sri mam know telugu ..she is looking so elegant in traditional attire
Let me eat peacefully is the punchline. That says it all: his passion for videos and long awaited lunch by Sree
What a lovely tradition to wait for the Ladies to finish eating first and to get blessings from them. They are often the unsung heroines in our society! Thanks to you & your wife for sharing this family function with us! The best pongal that I have eaten were at temples in Tamil Nadu where they give it in that Yale Donne (Cups made with leaves).
The temple Pongal sounds divine, Goutham. Happy you enjoyed this watch.
Wow.. Nice to know .. Sri maam is telugu speaking 😌😌😊🙏 the ritual that they did for ladies is called 'hoovilya' in kannada and 'poovidam' in telugu.. 👏😊😌👍✋👌
Its called "Mangali Pondugal" in tamil - In this function, married females of the family run the functions, food is served first to them, they are given the precedence in all formalities, this is done everytime we have some major function - Respect. Sree mam must have been known to these already
What a delightful session of Pooja and Prasada.
Kuppam is actually the centre of a Triangle formed out of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu in yes of culture and diaspora.
In a way this get together was a culmination of Telugu and Kannada phrases and of course Tamil dialogues spoken All at the same time.
All in all a very satisfying episode. Looked like we were in the days of the Vijayanagara Empire where Kannada and Telugu were spoken with equal aplomb and respect. Long live Kripal-Sree, Long Live Kannada-Telugu Saamipyam.
Very nice presentation by Kripal sir and his misses.
In Tamil I could say SAPADU NALLA IRRKU PRASAD ALWAYS IS TASTY A GOOD FAMILY GATHERING AND FOOD IS THE FAMILY BONDAGE
Very true!
Lunch served on even a silver platter is no match to lunch served on a plantain leaf & no breakfast is as sumptuous, delicious, healthy as our own Idli. Both are divine indeed ! 🙏
I am so...excited to hear our Telugu language in your (our) channel nd from both of you sir, how is our Andhra culture nd tradition,
It's is a mix of tamil and telugu culture .
Shridevi madam is looking very beautiful in saree and tradition of pongal even more soothing. Food is appealing and inviting. Special thanks to Sree mam for video.
Our karnataka's Nandini ghee is being served.....👍
Yes 🙌😀
Vijaya is love
Vijaya is emotion
It seems...
a mix of Telugu Tamil kannada at one place...😀
,,😂
It is such a good culture where women are always given first preference!
Good morning ☀️ sir I am frist time

*Thankyou Kripal and especially Camera Shy Sree to showcase not only a rare part of your life along with family folks and customary traditions* 🙌🏽
*Pongal was the icing on the cake* 😇
Good to know that madam is from our chittoor district of A.P !
Omg!! 🤔" Ladies eat first!!!" 🙏❤️🙌 Not heard anywhere!!! Awesome traditional oota!!!👍🏻👍🏻Sri's Kannada, Telugu and Tamil 👌🙌 soft voice and lil bit uncomfortable before camera make her unique!!! Thanks for this video Kripal Sir 🙏 and Sri ! ❤️🙏
It's common , I have seen in many functions
Standard ayurvedic practice, start with sweet first.
Have to say, the people of South have maintained the traditions and customs pure and intact.
குஜராத்திலிருந்து வணக்கம் 🙏
Pongal prepared as a "neivedhyam" offering to the lord as a part of other puja offerings and not just a dessert (a western one)...try tasting pongal prepared at home without offering it as "neivedhyam" and one after "neivedhyam" even after your daily simple puja ...it makes all the difference.
Good to see Madam with her family in traditional attire, reciting sholkas...happy to see that she is in touch with her roots, culture ...realize the diversity..looking forward to more such family traditional puja, celebrations ,festivals from your family site to #kripal..wonderful video
Madam seems from Andhra speaking clear Telugu.
Sir, nice to see Madam's native place, great Brahmin lunch !!
Oh Mam from Andhra 😍 ?
Telugu inti Alludu Kripal Sir 🙏🙏
Great and good to know that mam is from Andhra ... it is our CBN place.. I am from Yemmiganur
Very pleased to see old traditions and customs still intact in south India considering we are all modernizing and aping western practices in rest of India..Good practices from everyone should be adopted but our original traditions must be followed.
Ur very lucky to have wife like shree she is very good humble simple god bless her.
@kripal sir, u should allow Sree ma'am to speak in her mother tongue (Telugu), it was so sweet to ears when ma'am said chaala bavundi.
Sir, good morning, I'm so...happy, that you are in our state "Andhra pradesh", Madam is so...beautiful, cute (what not) in saree,🤩🤩🤗🤗💯💯 ,
I could hear Sri the Boss speaking in near fluent Tamil, a change from Kripal's kannada chat. & of course, telugu coming in there. Nice video on family puja.
Nice food. Andhra is best at it. In fact southern part of our country means delicious and lots of variety of food.
Anna... Nuvvu... Keka... Vadina... Superoo.... Superoo. ..... Keeping the tradition... Up... Awesome vlog...
That Pongal with grated coconut and ghee looks so delicious, must try😊
It certainly was, Veena, definite must try!
Yes.. more interested to know.. even im from kuppam.. currently working in Bangalore
If so you've not seen the ultimate Pongal. Please try Pongal in " Hotel Mayura ", Bellur Cross.
@@KripalAmannaVlogs nice video sir could plz tell me song name that you played in background when you r eating the food
Veenata - It's a sweet pongal.. Boiled Rice, jaggery some will use ghee... Mostly Coconut is not used...Most of Andhra foods we will not use Coconut 🥥 or Coconut milk...Just in chutney we will use coconut 🥥
God bless you both dear sir and maam. I'm a big fan of yours from Punjab. I have lived in Hyderabad for 25yrs (I'm half hyderabadi you can say) and i really enjoyed this vlog as even I used to enjoy a lot going with my Telegu friends on their festivals and people used to give me lots of love may be because I used to look different in crowd with my 7.5 feet Turban...haaaaa. Love India, food and its lovely people. Wish you both a Happy Pongal. Stay Blessed.
"The Boss is really very beautiful in Saree" and seeing the Vlog about traditional puja and aartiaakukku bhojanam was excellent

ಮಂಗಳೂರು+ಕುಪ್ಪಂ 💛❤🤗
Vazai ilai saappadu is the best food , wow very nice varieties healthy n so fulfilling , sarkarai pongal with lot of ghee nuts raisins gives full satisfaction. To add on a totally different idea in place of vadai was milaga bhajji. They made u happy n got blessed. Blessings got by serving food stays whole life. Lovely episode
Hi Nikhil anna… your childhood friend from Hindupur here…. Congrats on ur marriage
What's impressive about each and every vlog of Ammana is the narrative is very simple and natural in expression. So is the lady's simplicity . With first impression itself you will fall in love with his vlogs. I am probably addicted to his vlogs.
Ah.. My Amamma's (Grandmother) place is Kuppam. Could recognize so many of them.
So we are somewhere related 😊
@Kripal sir thanks for showcasing this vlog really enjoyed the family Atmosphere along with food especially the Pongal was really tempting... waiting for some more vlogs from your family
No healthier meal than a traditional "elai saappadu". First thing to hit the leaf is payasam, then the rest. Start the main meal with ghee and rice, then sambar, then rasam to act as a diluent, and curd/butter milk to provide the digestive.
Good showcase of our tradition, food, reason to do it was well captured and narrative by Boss and Kripal was excellent. We enjoy your show as much as you enjoy food. Kudos to all on camera and behind the work.
That pongal with added coconut looks so mouth watering.
Best episode! Beauty of india is its colorful Hindu culture!!
Kripal is the type of person who reviews food at thier family events. Such is his passion for food 💯
Kripal yr wife is looking very nice in traditional dress, god bless yr family
This isn't food. This is prasadam blessed by the gods, full of family love ie prana. Always tasty, and good for the soul too. Thank you for sharing.
Good 2 see all in traditional attire and following these age old traditions..loved it
Sir really interested to know how madam from kuppam and you from Mangalore met each other. Pls do an episode on this🙏🏻
Loved the way women are respected. Also liked the way entire family celebrated the festival together and thus keep the age old traditions alive. Nice!
Nice video, it great to see family gathering with traditional functions. Its good to Sree enjoying with her relatives.
Thanks for sharing a nice vlog along with her.
Hope you are doing well and be safe too.....
Ahh lovely to see a South Indian full meal on a banana leaf 😋😋🙏🏼🙏🏼
That brass vessel wood fire cooked sakkare pongal just made my mouth water 😀
Family function/pooja food is the best 👌
After seeing this we would definitely like to know you and Sree maams love/marriage story..must be very interesting!!🤩 Amalgamation of 2 cultures..just love the way you both have a harmonious view on each other's tradition and culture..tell us more about it🥰
Her telugu "entha bagundo" is the best thing in the whole video
In Maharashtra too.. we hv same kind of kuldaivat puja n then 'savashni pujan'(worship the ladies assuming they all r godess) followed by traditional marathi bhojan..the whole fly comes together
Appreciate u Kripal.. u covered this too vry nicely👍🏻🙏

Super vlog 👌👌 very traditional and religious. Feel good to watch this type video.

Kripalji - as usual excellent presentation. Interaction between you and Sreeji madam is so soft-clear and very informative. God Bless you both for happy life. 👍🙏
Nice and respect our tradition .
As I have observed, in South Indian states particularly AP, TN, Kerala and Karnataka most of the families, even today on special occasions like Engagement, Child Birth, 25/50th Wedding Anniversary, etc. follow religious traditional poojas followed by delicious Vegetarian Lunch. Mr & Mrs Kripal thanks for sharing. Pardon memMy English is not so good.
Such a delightful vlog, as usual. :)
You got lucky with ‘the boss’ Krupa! Such a sweet lady. God bless you both!
