The gaffer will need more than one season so i hope the fans stick by him. We can't just keep changing the manager. As long as we're heading in the right direction we should back him and the team 100%
I agree Grant. There's a financial impasse in my opinion. We've been playing very high wages to average players. Therefore we need to get players off the wage bill before we can bring in players. If you look at Tavernier,Goldson,Cantwell, Lawrence, Lammers and Dowell these six players alone are costing us around £8 million a year. Shankland earns less than £500,000 a year at Hearts. Our problem is moving these players on. The squad needs refreshing and Clement and Koppen need more than this window to get it right.
Exactly, when the contract situation has been run so badly for a couple years it will take a good year or so at least to change the way we do it and get rid of the contracts that are hurting this club. Recruitment looks to the future right now and hopefully we see a few bigger names come in during the next month.
We are paying for beale mistakes and a poor board.
Beale was sacked after 7 league games. Phil doesn’t get years. Phil has already managed this team for 31 league games, 40 games overall. He is now building his team, he is getting the preseason he has talked so much about about for the last six months (so I expect no injuries this season). I expect results, and performances.
Under Beale the team was booed off the pitch even when they won because good football was demanded. So why change now? Good football, winning football, and we want it instantly. If Rangers are out of this title race by Christmas it’s goodbye, Phil.
@@WHU63If Shankland moved to Rangers his wage would increase massively. Plus James Tavernier was just nominated for Scotland’s POTY so he’s probably worth the wage 🤦♂️
This man will make us great again I have full faith in that 🏴🇬🇧🏴 🏆 🏆 🏆.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great to see the gaffer back again and he’s talking a lot of sense as usual. Good luck for the season ahead Philippe. 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Well said Phil. The stadium situation is what it is. Manager and players have no control over that, so lets stop whinging about it and get behind Phil and the team.
@@Broonzied if Tav and Goldson get moved on, then I am totally on board.
@@rangersnut 😂😂😂 tfrom that comment you get that. You have wright, dowel, Lawrence etc who offered zilch,
@@msd6397I don't see how you read that into the comment. Like Phil Said he's got no control over the stadium fiasco. Nor has he control over the Board needing to sell on players to free wages to get in new players. Clement and Koppen won't get the squad they need in one transfer window. The fans need to settle and give him time to let the new players gel and to assemble the squad he wants.
@msd6397 I have said loads about Dowell, Wright, Matondo, Lawrence, Cantwell as well not being good enough on here. You must be new to commenting here. 😂😂😂😂😂However I would good fully on board with Clement if he gets rid of the worst defensive part of the team, Tav and Goldson. As it would show me he gets it. I would also assume other deadwood would be removed this summer or over coming windows. So smug chuckle away, but your are laughing at one of the first people on here to even suggest who the deadwood is.
Everyone needs to get behind the manager and team regardless of the stadium, they need our support more than ever.
Well said mate and I am sure we will.
@@Gordon1284 They will get behind him up until we get beat by Celtic at Parkhead in game 4. Then the calls for his sacking will begin. If we have been eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers by that point the calls for him to be sacked will be more intense. If he drops points to a team like Dundee or Ross County again then he is very near the exit door. Phil will do well to still be in a job by Christmas. If we are not top, or very close to being top, then I think he’ll be gone. The fanbase won’t watch Celtic becoming the most successful team in Scotland while accepting failure.
On a serious note, I love how he doesn't want excuses on being unsuccessful
@@Mr-BuBa His excuse for not being successful last season was “lack of a quality preseason “. That confused me because Beale was sacked after u league games. Clement was in charge for the other 31 (40 fixtures in total) but the season is a write off due to a poor preseason? We can’t work on fitness during the season? Sima being injured on international dirt was preseasons fault?
There was excuses in there alright.
@BillyMcMorran do you disagree with that? the fact that players were not upto it. Poor management of contracts and allowing players to leave freely. All played it's part. Clement inherited that team. You can't really judge a manager on someone else's team and style. Clement isn't going to turn round through the season and say his players are shit
The man knows exactly what he's talking about, love it , he's one of us 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👏👍
I met Nils Koppen last Saturday night in a Moroccan restaurant in glasgow and had a couple of mins chat with him. Seems a nice switched on guy. Was happy to chat away
Fit did he say about new experienced players coming in?
Did he ask how I was??
@@adrianduncan7228 he said media are well off with signing target's
@@Jimbee-s1c yeah passed on your RUclips to him
He said we can't afford any players, never mind experienced ones!
Since the 'incident' Rangers & their supporters, have had to suffer and endure a lot. For a lot of years. All due to a few men's greed and playing fast and loose, with our club. Drama, after drama.
Let's go Rangers 🔴⚪🔵
Quality content lads!!!
Fantastic interview by the Review team. We're fortunate to have a good manager, yet unfortunate he is hamstrung by finances. If he can deliver in 24/25 it'll be a miracle...tho...he's the best placed to make miracles happen so...Follow Follow.
I'm 100% behind the manager. I believe he is the right guy. Stick with him. The signs were there last season. This might take time, but he is the man who will deliver success to the club.
How much time are you willing to give him?
Our problems on the pitch are poor leadership, with serial losers.
I hope its not all fake news regarding Goldson and Tavernier. Hopefully they go.
Hopefully they go but who’s going to buy them there both getting old now and can’t defend. Must be a hard trying to shift them
Anyone who buys any of those two - has lost their mind.
@@rangersnut If they don’t will you boo and harass them next season? I I’m not sure why Rangers fans do that to their own players. They won’t perform their best under those circumstances.
@@user-gf6yl8jg6z Really? I thought James Tavernier was nominated for Scotland’s PFA: Player of the Year last season. 12 MOTM awards in the league, and the highest average match rating of any SPFL overall. That’s not bad.
@@BillyMcMorran and yet no one will even attempt to buy him. Kind of says it all really. Take away his pens and he’s done absolutely nothing
How is there no money. From Europa League final to qualifying for champions league selling Patterson & bassey & a half decent run in Europa League last season. Should still have plenty left over but making out were skint don't get it
I'm really fearful for the season starting as I wouldn't feel confident going into this season with the team we have. I know by the looks of things we need to sell before we buy anymore but the games are going to be starting very soon and he was the man that said he wanted his squad in for pre season
Rome wasn’t built in 1 day, that proves his commitment. Watching this from Australia 🏴🇬🇧
I see there saying that two or three new signings are not ready for the first team. We’re about to watch a 16 year old boy play in a euro final, if you’re good enough then you’re old enough.
Absolutely, this thing about any young player not being good enough to me is just rubbish . Time we gave our B Team players a real chance to show what they've got 🇬🇧
@ronnieporter3999 I agree, but it never works. The moment they make a mistake our toxic fans skin them alive until we never see them play again
@Cronus-y2d unfortunately your words are very true . Yet we can't afford decent money to bring really good players in , so those we do are maybe ? Just about all we can afford and we therefore havecto just hope .?
What`s the coach got to do with the stadium ?
We should be looking to bring in Allan Campbell , he's been told he can leave Luton , good age with experience , would be an ideal signing Imo .

and that makes them less irish than a potato is , so what does this mean you like ireland well done thanks for that.
What's all. the nonsense about ibrox didn't the other side of Glasgow spend time at hampden
The game is all about opinion but 1 thing I am clear about is that we need a period of stability on the manager front. We are financially operating from a very poor starting point. The reality is we need players out before more come in, far from ideal & the next few weeks will determine a lot for 24/25. 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇧
gone before Xmas
Back the guy with money
Money from where ffs!?
The proof of the pudding....
Just noticed Barron is an inch or two shorter than Ridvan - wtf.
With it being the case we have no money for more additions at the moment, why did we spend £1.75 million on Igamane when we should have prioritised someone who can make an immediate impact? That now looks really poor judgement from Koppen and Clement. Even if he eventually goes on to be a good player for us. With CL and league business a short time away, this seems mental. Clement said he wasn't ready for this level. Why not use that money for a priority improvement?
he says people dont know whats happening at and the goings on.he is tellin us fuck all especially on players
You silly fans judging the teams success on results! You don't know how brilliant Scott Wright is in training or in the dressing room!
💥🔴⚪️🔵💥
He's starting the season with a weaker squad so far. Not playing at Ibrox for months. We have European games to play. Can't see anything to be excited about this season. Not playing at Ibrox will be a huge disadvantage. The powers at be have made a big mistake and the works should have been worked out long ago. If there was an issue the works should have been cancelled this season. Why jeopardise a whole season for an extra 600 seats. Crazy.
His words are far from encouraging for me, playing the season and signings down already, saying things like long term, patience etc, if we don’t wake up and start getting active right now we will be lost in celtics wake simple
In Phil we trust. This man will bring us trophies. WATP 🏴🇬🇧🏴
Sell before I buy?! Sell fucking WHO!?!?
Some funny shit!
Best team in cup final ....everyone forgets...😂😂😂
Well done clement just get this season of to a good start the players will gel 👍 WATP
Let's talk about the elephant 🐘 in the room. A finger cut and the end cut. I was tuned into that.....😂
Yeah u have to move get rid of players who don't want to be there and get new players in .
The gaffer brings the stability the club needs at this moment 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I think it will be another shocking season beat hearts and Celtic early doors and that's the season over with no doubt there not fit to wear the rangers tops disgrace to the the no fighting for the the team Wallace smith and advocate would not have any one in squad get a grip I am rangers fan myself but it's shocking this
Cant believe he thinks rangers played better than celtic last year seems he hasn't learned that lesson
dio with a knee strap.. not good at all
Yep new player. Injuries can happen but Clement said he knew why injuries were happening so much and how to solve it, hinted towards preseason and conditioning and he knew the solution. So let's see how that goes. The proof will be in the pudding now. Which is why as a fan I have highlighted hard injury patterns on here with potential signings. Over the last decade there have been many signed poor injury records. Which is why I have suggested we need to be really careful.
@@rangersnut was meant to be an overhaul in the medical team, didnt happen, the main Dr is with them still in preseason. But tbh its common sense to keep your body right. Clearly its also the players not looking after themselfs
Matondo (so no surprise), not Dio.
@@buckie67 it was dio.. are u blind???
@@buckie67Well that's gd then. Matondo is one I would get rid of. £23k per week as well.
🇬🇧🇧🇪
If he continues to play tav and keep him as captain he deserves the sack. Tav is the most unsuccessful rangers captain ever. He’s terrible
the questions put forward are terrible , always about dramas injuries nothing about tactics and real football questions , very pessimistic to say to philip rangers fans arent happy . better questions pls
It’s interesting how this stadium issue just popped up and all the drama - they’ll fill hampden for every game - how about a story in the local pubs and eateries around hampden….
Imagine thinking everything's going to be OK.
- With Tavernier at right back/ captain.
Bizarre
@@user-gf6yl8jg6z Well he was one of Rangers top performing players last season. Nominated for POTY along with Jack Butland. Two outstanding individuals who play for a shite team. Imagine those two had better teammates around them?
We will play at hamdon and anywhere else the famous Glasgow rangers❤
We finished last season further behind in the league than when Clement arrived. Is that progress?
Forgetting we went top of league and collapsed after Motherwell defeat. Avalanche of key injuries with 1 new signing Diomande. Sack Clement, we're back to square one. It's time the voices like yours that will set us back further should be ignored as it's folk like this that will set us back further.
@@J.D_7 Did you speak up when the board had the genius idea of sacking Beale after 7 games and putting an injured player in charge? No, you probably thought that was a great idea.
Clement has been here for over. 40 games. His mandate is to win the league next season. If he can’t do that he can leave. If people like you want him to stay, while Celtic are crowned the most successful team in the history of Scottish football, I’ll just call you a happy clapper that likes to accept failure.
Getting his excuses in early , think hes forgot he doesnt get time at Rangers hes got to win. Said it when i seen his first three signings and his tactics ,team selection and substitutions that he will be gone in October and McInnes will be in. All our best times in football were with a strong Scottish manager.
Can't keep sacking managers every year, shouts for him to go need to be ignored as that mindset will put us back further as a club.
@@J.D_7 We can and we will if they dont get it right , more of a problem with the folk running the club employing managers and players who are not good enough time after time. Only a matter of time till McInnes is in IMO.
@@oaktree5975 Nah, people like you should heavily be ignored as your ideas will set our club back further. Gerrard got time, Clement deserves the same. Maybe we'll end up with McInnes in the future but if we do the same again with Clement then we're going to end up with his replacement and a team full of players he didn't sign AGAIN.
@@J.D_7 Haha the signings hes made and is looking at now are as bad as the rest of them.
