I love Clement, i believe he can take us forward as a club but our self sabotaging fans will probably chase him off before he gets a chance to rebuild the club, theres so much wrong at the club and the manager isnt even getting the budget to fix the first team nevermind all the other issues, he needs patience to bring in these changes and the fans need to stay off his back.
Self sabotaging fans or a self sabotaging board? Think we'll find the board running the club into the ground are the main issue, the fans have every right to be upset and are a symptom of the boards mismanagement
I cannot see this being a great season, but its not Clements fault, you need good players to be sucessful. It will take time to clear all the duds and bring in the right players, He is a very good manager, we have to be patient and support the team during the bad times.

That's what will win me over with Phil. Progress and at least some good results or even a good result and some strong performances agaisnt Celtic. That's being realistic, on where we are. If he does any better than all the better. If not he will face the same as any other manager who fails, but let's at least park that and see how he does. He is still new to the club and deserves a fair chance. We need to give the guy some breathing room and the players if we are to have even half a chance as fans.
A proper CM with some experiance is needed as well as a new CB . I wouldn't mind a winger as well as long as there will be a resale value. But with no money its probably not going to happen.
This club needs Clement to build over the next 2 seasons and build solid foundations to go forward and get back to where we should be. It's definitely the case that it's not good enough and we need to be smashing Celtic and winning titles but unfortunately the squad isn't fit enough physically or in ability. U don't get up off the couch and run a marathon u need to build towards it and I think in reality we need to suck it up for a couple of seasons and build something. Far too much negativity and short sightedness amongst some of our fans. We should be supporting our club through the good and the bad and right now we're definitely going through a bad patch with everything going on but I believe he will build this club up and get us where we need to be and provided we see progress and beat the Tim's at home this year I'll give him a season or 2. Or we'll just keep getting nowhere with the odd title and cup and still be saying and doing the same shit over and over through the next few years.

The negativity comes from watching your rivals smash you every time we play, watching them get better and better whilst we get worse, watching them lift title after title, trophy after trophy while we do fuck all but squander fortunes, they've had 13 years to build solid foundations yet here we are, some are content with mediocrity but most aren't..
@@bazzledust2912 we built with Gerrard which took a couple of seasons after failure after failure and at that point they couldn't really lay gloves on us, we won the league and the board didn't push us on so after rinse and repeat of bad decisions is it any wonder that we're back to square 1 taking batterings off them? We'll need to build again like we did with Gerrard but see this time when we get back to that place we were before, we need to keep pushing and don't take the eye off the ball. klopp or pep would need a while to get it right and would have to build so Clement needs time.

Bad transfers, bad managerial appointments, giving a a cheque book to a used car salesmen, not building on strength when we broke the 10, the list goes on and it all goes back to the board who quite simply dont have a clue what theyre doing at this level. Even now, look at the pathetic mismanagement of the stadium rebuild.
Didn't help that the Grip, Producer, director and a few of the lead actors phoned in Sick. It's the Rangers review. They are filming with phones and recording with basic reporters microphones 🎤 😂😂😂😂

Alright he wasn't my choice, I have my doubts about this guy, and it will remain that way until he proves he can start winning against Celtic. Lets see what he does. This season is his chance to impress. Best of luck Phil. You won't get loads of time. It's do or die in the battle against Celtic. If there are signs of progress as the season goes then he will be backed. If not and the same dumplings make the same errors at the back and it's all looking the same as the end of last season effort and energy wise, he won't last long. Let's wait and see. Can Phil drum it into the players heads to play to the whistle? Also get Dessers to learn how to stay onside and time his runs better, and maybe get him to be a bit more selfish and hit it first time? That sort of thing and Tav and Goldson defending makes me grumpy. They all need to improve or step aside if they cannot.
