On today's vanlife adventures to Alaska, I wake up in a beautiful campsite in the mountains of Canada. However, I get the bright idea to look at these mountains from a different perspective! After my crazy excursion, I continue driving north and find a nice cozy place by a river to camp, cook, and play some games on my PC in the van.

Trent. Today has been a wierd Sunday for me. Hectic as all hell, let me tell you, and rain...so much rain. But here I am finaly at home, showerd of the rain and the stress, food is cooking, and here you are...uploading a 30min video. I really appreciate how respectful and courteous you are of the wilderness, not starting a forest fire, asking about filling up your water, etc.
Trent, you’re a super good dude for asking the establishments to fill up your water. I can’t tell you how many people have come and just used our hose without even asking. I would shut it down every time all because they couldn’t spare the time of day to be thoughtful and ask first. And everyone who asked I let them use as much as they wanted free of charge. Thank you

I’m not really much of a dog person, but I love Millie SO SO SO much!! She’s just a big ball of joy and pure wiggly love!!! I could just hug her tight all day!
I had a short legged Staffordshire bull terrier and I lost count how many times I heard that he changed people's minds about dogs.

Hi Trent make sure you service your van to make sure everything is working before you head into Alaska!
Check all liquids, Oil, Anti freeze, Transmission fluid levels, battery life, brakes, electric, tires! Carry a spare battery, tire, oil, anti freeze and Flat fix.
Prep, bring water, Tuna, beans, rice, dry Milk, Satellite phone!

Also, if that's a crack in your windshield, on the lower left driver's side, you might think about repairing, it at some point, before entering Alaska.
How is the van holding up? How long have you had this new van and how many miles on it? Any problems with van and what changes would you make and has there been any new upgrades to the van?
We brought extra gas too when touring the AL-CAN highway on our Harley.

I really love the cosy atmosphere of your van and I love seeing Millie. I was thinking I would be watching Twilight with that scenery and then I thought how cool would it be if you did a series visiting all the towns such as forks and oregon where Twilight was filmed. That would be cool.

Love the videos and travels. One thing. When you leave the van or unlocking it and opening it, we all look for Millie. We expect to see her wagging her tail or jumping on you to say hi. Do you cut that out during editing? Don't. We love seeing the interaction.

I love how you take Millie's needs into account when planning your days. I love the views, the way you are nice and polite and funny, the games, the cooking, the games... I just love everything about your videos. I'm always so inpired by them. I am saving up to buy a campervan so my husband and our 2 (big) dogs can roam around (in Europe) in our free time as well.
You and Millie sharing your journey is such a breath of fresh air for so many and so appreciated. It may get lonely sometimes and five years of traveling like this is quite a long time but you are making some wonderful memories and bringing some peace and comfort to many in your sharing. Thanks Trent for the beautiful scenery I sure do love Millie your relationship I can't believe it's been a month since I lost my beautiful Lily she went everywhere with us even to work we did tree work so she was with us 24/7 and now she's gone and it's so freaking lonely without her 💔 I came across you and Millie's videos right after I lost her I subscribed and I can follow you ever since thank you for getting to see the relationship with you and Millie like me and my husband did our beautiful precious Lily thanks for taking me places that I would never be able to see in my life time I'm 62 and my husband 65 Lily was our third dog so we will never get another but we have all three of their ashes to be buried with us someday 🙏❤️

Another great video. Laughed at the start of the flight when you said woah and then several shots of you holding the handle by the door. Flights like that are awesome but when the helicopter decides to be a rock, nothing you can do so enjoy the ride and scenery. Wife took her first helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon several years ago. She got to sit in front as well and her smile was so big when she got back and all she could say was WOW and AWESOME. Thumbs up.

Great video - not crapping on you at all, but I'm noticing something.
Maybe I'm wrong, but most of these camper van life videos show three things:
-Making food
-Playing video games
-40 steps you have to do to open a pantry with the loudest ASMR in the world, or the 300 things you have to do before bed
We could start 'Wood Life' where you just live in the forest, eat berries, and crap on a tree. It'll be 39 less steps to everything than opening a pantry.
I'm so jealous of your free spirit and not being tethered to one place... I would love to have a van like you do and travel the country and experience van life... Thank you for sharing your voyages with us.

Gotta say Trent, this series is fantastic! But then, you have never let us down! It is one of the few respites in my life, a virtual getaway with you and Millie. You are inspiring!! My wife and I just fitted out our bus and had our first outing this past weekend. You inspired us to do the vanlife thing, and it is amazing. We are restricted to weekends at the moment, but it has already made a huge difference to our lives. Thanks for the uploads, you're the best.
Always make sure i'm eating, or just ate before I watch any vanlifers videos. Or else i'd be hungry after. I can smell the food through the screen. Just like Trent can feel a non-existent fire. 😂
If you replace your small pot with something called a Caldero for cooking your rice, you will have a much more even cook throughout the rice as it will trap in a lot more steam to help the cooking process better. You can get a small 1.6 qt Caldero which would fit perfectly in a small space without taking much room
It's funny my mom always would make fun of the fact neither me or her can cook rice so we got a rice cooker...somehow I still manage to wreck it...I just stick to minute rice at this point 😄

My husband and I ran the AL-CAN highway in 1992 on our Harley with a sidecar. We tented on the side of the road and provincial parks, stopped at Liard Springs. Was the trip of a lifetime. Safe travels and enjoy the Canadian Rockies. They are stunning.
