Back in 2016, the original instrumental version of "Moonrise" was uploaded here albeit with a rather depressing quality. This version today hopes to bring back an old favourite, at a better sound quality, and with the Pipa as our main instrument to boot! Amazing how a simple change of instrument could bring a whole new feeling to a song. Hope you enjoy listening to "Moonrise", the better version.

Among the starry night skies, the desolate moon shone upon the plains, its pale light illuminating the rivers and lakes into a silvery glow. The calls of the forest that brimmed with life during the day quietened as it lulls nature into a gentle sleep. Like a lullaby, the night was a solace for many beings to rest after a tiring day. The silence that befalls was akin to a calming hym, and the breeze that follows carressed its people lightly. Many loved the day for its fiery warmth and bright shine, yet could not appreciate the luminous night that illuminated the world with a canopy of stars.
The chime of the clock, the drifting of clouds. The cycle of time continues as dawn arrived, setting the sky in a beautiful palette of oranges and gold that overlapped twilight. He sat there throughout the entire night, admiring the waning of moon and the breaking of dawn. The sight had always left him in awe no matter how many times he had seen the view. Life awakens, bringing with it the chipping of birds and the blossoming of flowers. A new day had begun, symbolising the start of a beginning.
He watched as the moon became hidden in view, disappearing from the skies as if it had never appeared. Til night falls yet again, it would remain a silent watcher, guarding the world admist its gentle gaze.

*If the older version can be compared to the moon, then newer version feels like the sun. I personally find the older version more soothing due to its deeper tune, but the new one is quite a nice change to the mood~*
*The chinese quote from above originates from Li Bai (李白), a reknowned poet in the ancient days. The poem roughly translates to **_[The people of today has yet to lay their eyes on the moon in the distant past, yet the moon has once shone its light upon ancient civilization.]_** It describes the short lifespan of a human within the universe, and symbolizes the permanence of the moon.*

The imgur links are great, but they only provide me with the ones in the video and not anything else; searching on imgur leads to nowhere. I've tried her Weibo, but the images are kind of small and enlarging them worsens the quality.
