i watched this anime a year ago but this year, I also rewatched it and everytime I watch the ending scene from the series or youtube, I always cry my eyes out. Because of this anime I strive to live life as much as possible. So I don’t leave suddenly with any loose ends, to know I did the best I could for others.
This was my first anime 5 years ago. I owe so much to this masterpiece. I’ll never forget the pain I experienced watching this, but I also won’t forget it’s message.
I miss Kaori!!! She made her dream come true. She finally did a duet with Kousei! It's just so sad that they only got to do a duet 2× but the most saddest part is that she died and didn't even knew that Kousei loves her 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Kaori definitely knew that Kousei loved her, but she also knew that she wasn't gonna be alive much longer so she was afraid to tell Kousei. One scene was the fireflies scene, where Kousei says "I had you". Kaori knew she was not going to be able to help him. But you can tell she knew of his feelings

This is the first anime that I literally cried watching and still be sad after months still remembering it. Like even after finishing it , if i heard its soundtrack somewhere else i would immediately become sad remembering this anime. That doesn't mean that you must throw urself under a bus to have a meaning in life though. This can be applied to a lot of things, like family, friends, love or even having a stable home, having food... This is why I find this thinking really interesting
