I installed Prism Live Studio 9n my Samsung S10 and plugged in the usb c of my Logitech Streamcam: nothing happens....what now? Could you advise me please?

For whoever is not getting this to work Prism removed the feature. To my understanding USB mic still works but web camera and DSLR camera support was removed.
Can you do the whole tutorial about using the phone to connect to the webcam, charger, mic? Especially more explanation on the connector. What a great and innovative way to live stream. How about Zoom and other online meeting platforms. Can we use this set up?

Good info. The external webcam is working with this app BUT, i want to livestream on a website. The website detects my internal webcam front and back but doesnt see the external webcam. How to change ? and what can i do to make the external webcam make standard above the internal webcams ? (tried with phone and tablet, both do have otg software on it)

I have been taking video with my cell phone, but I can't find an editing sw that will let me do cuts, splices, voice-over, etc. Oh - and music. I tried using RUclips which allows you to add music after the fact, but you cannot fade in or out and it just looks really choppy. I know what I want to create - I need to learn what to use. FYI, I am on a strict budget so I am not looking for expensive platforms - much as I would like to invest someday.

I don’t have links to the cable (it’s a sponsored video) but what I used for my Samsung was the Apple USB-C to USB connector. Happy to send some links to other options over if your friends need any assistance with that.
It would have been very beneficial if you would have put the link to where you can buy the adapter because I can only find it for mac. I talking about the one you have in the video that connects right to the phone without a wire.
I used to do video editing on a computer in the late 90's. It took hours to render a few minute clip. Yes it amazes me that I can do what I can on a device that fits in my hand.

You can connect a dslr of course! Mini hdmi to hdmi cable, plug it in a "hdmi video capture" adapter (which basically is a webcam that takes the feed via hdmi) Cheers

Zulf Photography Yes, if you have a USB switcher then you can turn on and off the cam you want to use. Prism can only see one cam at a time but the switcher would make that work.

Hey, I have a ZTE Android phone 7.1. I tried to use the app you mentioned, but nothing happens when I plug in my web cam. I still set up the app to use on facebook and RUclips, it will not recognize the webcam, it will only use the phone camera. Do you think the problem is the phone or the extension? The webcam works using my desktop computer?
I wonder if most USB webcams (mostly the ones Logitech Make) are compatible with Android. I just got myself a portable game console and some games require a camera, and that mini console doesn’t have one... i’d love to have one closer to the design of the thermal cameras to connect directly to USB-C but I might have to design it myself. 😂
You can use a cheap USB HDMI capture card and plug in your DSLR and just clean HDMI output on your DSLR. OBS reads it as a webcam so i'm thinking Prism will read it as a webcam, will PRISM read it as a webcam tho? I'm curious.
After watching this and being a youtuber using my phone I purchased the adapter, mic and Web cam. Put the app on my phone. Did everything right in the set up, doesn't work. In prism live studio the options to connect the Web can are either over WiFi or USB. because the webcam I purchased isn't WiFi enabled I obviously tried to go thru the USB hook up option. Message read, USB connectivity not enabled yet ! Samsung A12. Any help to get me going ? Cheers
Great info Dee Nimmin, but unfortunately, Android 10 devices do NOT support UVC(USB Video Class) anymore. Until further updates, there is no way to connect external cameras :(

Hey Chris, I’m not familiar with that cam. The phone in this video is also the S9 connected to a Logitech c920. You have a proper adapter for it? Also, reinstall the app and try again, sometimes they don’t install 100%.
well I have a problem for you, I have a brand new Note 10 Plus and when I did this it gives me a pop up box that says USB webcam will not work with Android 10 have you seen this and is there a work around?

It needs to be USB (UVC) for it to work currently. Not sure if it can process the 360 though. Try it and let me know!

Any idea how to make Sencor 3 CAM 2000 work in PC/USB mode? It seems like Prism doesnt detect it at all...

You can turn your mobile camera as webcam , go and check the last video to our channel to learn how.
