What a lovely thing to do - honestly I think its brilliant! You look stunning with your short hair too! I am a sufferer of alopecia and have been for the last 7yrs of my life as a married woman with 2 kids but luckily never suffered from it as a child/teenager and can only imagine what that must be like. Thank you for being such a lovely person! :D

I also just donated all of my hair (14 inches total) to locks of love and my hair is a little shorter than yours on top but same length in back :-) Congrats for being brave enough to do it! I gotta say I asked 30 girls to do it with me and only two people agreed, one was my sister (who donated 10 inches) and a friend of mine who eventually backed out (as of yet she hasn't done it, but it's only been a couple days). I have naturally curly hair which evidently isn't donated often :( it feels great
