They say we can't do time travel yet but I disagree, saw you in Portland in the 1990 s , and you were great but this show blew me away! I was back in a much happier time for a couple hours ,you have never sounded better, your band is incredible and it's awesome to see you out there doing it again !! Much success to you. ❤
I've been a long-time fan of her music. She last performed live in Japan in 1998. I don't think she'll be coming to Japan anymore, but it's convenient to be able to watch her on RUclips. It's sad that a talented singer-songwriter like her isn't famous in Japan. Thank you for uploading.
Thank you for that information. It's quite surprising to me that her last show in Japan was over 25 years ago!! I suppose there will always be those artists that fans will have to travel overseas to experience live. I would also love to see Angela Aki, who I believe has been inspired by Sarah's works, announce a tour in North America, but I'm not sure if that will ever happen. A collaborative appearance on The First Take would be a dream ✨️
You know The First Take, don't you? We live in an age where music can be listened to via streaming. I got rid of a lot of my CDs but I still have all of Sarah's CDs and DVDs. I was also able to get hold of some of the CD singles released in the US and UK, which I still have. Since I was a child, I have been listening to North American music, so I don't know much about Japanese music. I don't know anything about K-pop, which is popular now. My dream is to see her perform live again, but just being able to see her singing now is enough for me. Sorry for my poor English. You were kind enough to include the set list in the description, so thank you again.
@gats-9944 Your English is fantastic! So glad to know there are die-hard Sarah fans like you from around the world! There are soooo many absolutely mind-blowing J-rock bands that I want to see live. One day, I'd like to spend an entire summer in Japan and visit all the great music venues to see all my favorites and discover the upcoming new talents you have there. I consider you so lucky to have easy access to such wonderful musicians. Some of my favorites are Band-Maid, Sokoninaru, Hitsujibungaku to name a few. K-pop is an extremely dangerous rabbit hole. Once you discover even 1 group that you like, all their online content immerses you in their world and traps you like a magical whirling vortex that you can no longer escape. I'd recommend ITZY, NewJeans, UNIS, Illit, Young Posse to start with if you choose to enter this realm. It can get very expensive though with all their merch and prices of tickets, but so worth it.
@@sesipro I'm not interested in K-pop.because it all looks the same for me. I'm not criticizing K-pop. You may know more about Japanese music than me. If you have the opportunity, I would recommend a band called Kikagaku-moyo (Its English meaning is geometric pattern. )which is currently on hiatus. Please come to Japan someday. Even so, your video was beautiful and I thought it would be good to make it into a product as is.😊 Thank you for your reply.
Wow! I just wanted to say thank you for not only recording the whole show, but in such good quality and the camera work. Loved watching this as somebody that's outside of where she tours so I'm immensely grateful. I'm hoping that eventually she puts out a home video release especially because this is a momentous tour to celebrate a milestone. And we haven't had a home video release, as far as I know since afterglow live. Thanks again for sharing.
First of all, HOLY BALLS than you sespiro for the excellent cam work. Watch her right hand as it keeps time, and then she gestures the drum fill into next part of the song. She is LOCKED in with her band and can rely on Matt Starr to support her as a drummer. Bravo Matt. ruclips.net/video/pvkzmTumVak/видео.html Note: her band is phenomenal.
My dad turned me on to Sarah with Fumbling. I always hope we would see her together but he unfortunately passed before that happened. I got to see her in 2014 and he was there with me in spirit. Thanks for this upload. Unfortunately for medical reasons my concert days are over. Was great to see this.
Ohhh thank you sooo much, you're too kind! I pride myself on recording good audio (for the most part) because no matter how good video might be, if the music is too quiet or tinny, it takes away from the overall vibe of the capture! 🫶
Thanks! I hadn't seen her live since 2011 or 12,, but was so happy to see her in Boston 2 weeks ago. I hope by a miracle she comes back around again with another tour leg. She still sounds as amazing as she did in the 90s. Awesome show!!! The set list was to die for.

This is such an incredible concert performance by all of these lovely angelic souls! Bring the show to Wolf Trap this fall! We miss you in Virginia. 🤞🏼💙💙💙 Thanks for sharing this beautiful video!
@Sarah Mclaughlin was my very first concert ever at Buel Theater in Denver in 1997!! Mrs. Sarah, you're as amazing now as you were then. Huge fan of your work! You still inspire me ❤😊
Was this filmed at the Utah one?! I swear it was! I was there too! 😄 This was soo good! Her energy was off the chain! And her band made her music SOOOO good!! She is one of the most underrated artists of our time. I legit cried when she sang, 'Beautiful Girl.' When I was in foster care, my foster mom and I would listen to Sarah McLachlan and I would sing and it was the happiest moments of my teenage years. Sadly, the state put me in a group home and I didn't see much of her after that. She died in 2010 in a plane accident. Whenever I hear that song, I know my mom is around. When Sarah started singing it, I lost it. It was as if my mom was there. This concert was absolutely beautiful! Thank you for capturing it!
Sarah's songs give special meaning to so many people out there. Thanks for sharing your story. And this event was held at the Art Park in Lewiston New York.
I’m the person who screams out “Love You Sarah” at mark 27:15, to my surprise I found this video of the concert and now have a recording of her responding to me “Love you right back !” I lost it when I first heard it & now have a very memorable moment caught on tape, being a huge fan for a long time.. I started crying with excitement 😳😭
Sorry about the diagnosis. Hopefully you're out of the storm, in the hands of a good neurosurgeon 🙏 🤞 Glad I could share Sarah's amazing show with you 😊

The song “murmurs”made the romantic in me to be in a long distance relationship during college. Completely robbed me of “the time of my life”. Committed to a crazy girl that was a psych major at UT, while I was at texas tech. Every time I tried to break up with her, she showed up at the Lubbock airport or my dorm. The song by better than Ezra, “porcelain” was the epitome of how I felt. Three fucking years of college wasted by a crazy chick. A girl that threatened suicide if I broke up with her. The only thing I gained from that relationship is the ability to find a way for a girl to break up with you, without devastating her mental stability.
