everyone is home and doing well! but expect videos to be slow this month while we soak up all of the baby snuggles we can, because they're only this young once!

I can't even...the four of you look so peaceful together and you're all glowing! I noticed during the pregnancy, Allie seemed emotionally detached from mother hood. She didn’t seem like she was going to be a mom, she just seemed to be the woman carrying babies. I’m happy she was honest and even said “I love them, I didn’t think I was going to, I was worried but I do”.
It’s normal, some parents don’t feel “love” for the baby until they see them

Absolutely wonderful to see the new arrivals but incredible to see how calm you both seemed. You're either two of the most chilled ladies on the planet or two of the greatest actresses?
Here in the UK the video hit quite late in the evening so I was forced to go to bed with aching cheeks from smiling but I'm not admitting to the tearful eye because I'm a man!

What is truly amazing about your story to me is that you truly are the biological mothers of both children. They are Sam’s eggs and Allie’s blood. I think that is perfect. You truly are blessed. Congratulations!!!!
The twins will also have the same blood as Sam won’t they? you never mix blood with babies while pregnant. Either way you are right that they are both their biological mothers as Allie carried Sam’s eggs and brought them into the world! 💗💗
@@crystal9301 you are correct the blood doesn’t mix but it was Allie’s blood that transported and delivered the oxygen and nutrients the babies needed to grow. :)

I couldn't walk till the day after my (emergency) C-section, there was so much pain I just couldn't even move! Then again the only pain management they gave me in Germany was cream for my chest (ummm, what??). I'm so thrilled for all of you!

Iam so beyond happy for you both! Congratulations on the twins. I know ones a boy because I heard a OMG he’s so small lol but not sure if the other is a boy or girl. I think boy. They are good sizes too. You BOTH have done a WONDERFUL job bringing these babies into the world. Being a mom is honestly the best. Lots of tears and lots of loves and laughs. Congratulations.... you both look fantastic. The next few weeks will seem like they drag because you're learning the babies and they are learning their Mommas but it's totally worth it!! Allie if you get real sore I'd like to suggest maybe a compression wrap for your abdomen. I had twins and c-section as well and when I was feeling better but not all the way myself this helped my tummy and back. Of course I'm only suggesting because I think I heard you say something about one sometime in the recent Vlog. I started using mine on like week 2 and as I healed and the swelling went down I was able to regain the strength back in those lower muscles that I never thought I used until they were cut for my babies!!! I wore it up until about 5 weeks post partum just because I liked the compression.
Yes I saw the thumbnail yesterday and then when I went back to find it was gone. You are not crazy.
Hi Ruth, Yep, I saw it this morning and was surprised that they showed the babies faces when they said would not. When I looked back in the afternoon it was marked ¨unavailable/private¨, now it is back.?!🙃

Side note: when that milk comes in, and it does even if you don’t chest feed, it’s hecka painful. I coped by chest binding but I’ve heard there’s actually meds you can take that dry it up. No one told me :(
