I had problems with self esteem due to my balding head...I am only 23 which made it even worse...until one day I got fed up with it and just shaved it all to 0,4cm. My head is not completely bald and at the same time the hair so short that it doesn't draw attention to my thinning hair. The best thing I could do and to be honest, I feel more sexy with bald look than with hair like 40 year old and it certainly makes me look more confident than guys who are trying to hide it by all means possible. And I love hair and hairstyles and still consider having my hair transplanted in the future...but I feel much better bald or with very short hair than balding...
I'm 24 and in the same situation. For me it's worse than in the video and really noticable by now so I was thinking of just cutting it really short too. How is it going for you? Is it worth it to just go all in with the shaver? Do you shave it yourself or do you go to the barber for it? What about beard?
I have tried it like 3 years ago and I’m still using it. Remember that you can not expect any miracles when you are balding, your hair will never be the same, but you can make them look better. This is one of a few things that help and trust me I've tried millions of them.

In my opinion learn to do it yourself. I am the only one who know's how to cut my hair and cover my thinned balding area. It's not perfect but comes out better than when a barber does it especially after a week. I colour it myself a shade darker than my natural hair. I use colour sprays and powders, V05 gum paste/wax. From time to time I may go and get a haircut T the barbers but for the last 9-10 years I have been doing it myself. Do whatever makes I feel good. Sometimes I shave it all off which I also like but because of the texture of my hair and the side and back I can style it out when it's longer. I try and be confident and feel good about myself regardless. Good luck man.

Brandon is cute as a button. ❤ Thank you for showing these techniques and products. My boyfriend is using cheap gel and it is making him look even thinner. Will try these redken products and the "shoe shine" technique.
Hello, nice technique. So, this works on dark hair. How does it work on blond hair? I have a client that has this same issue but blond hair. He wants a slickback cut to try and cover this spot but he said if it dosent work hell go the just a short cut and give in.

I'm 19 and I have a full head of thick hair still some of my friends are balding...I even have shown this video to one of my friends who's hair is similar to this guy's he's very sad about losing his hair unfortunately. He's even told me before his dad has a full head of thick hair still, but why is he balding he wants to know.
He could have been poisoned. Sometimes when people piss off the Kremlin they get poisoned. When Russian hitmin put uranium into a former FSB agents tea-leaf plant soil, he got uranium sickness several days later. His hair fell out, all his organs failed and then he died. Is your friend experiencing any symptoms like that? When was the last time he visited Moscow? And who did he meet with while he was there? Ask him if he has any Aliases because people who know him might not know him by the name he gave you. Hope that helped. 🙂👍
Baldness is mostly (but not exclusively) inherited from you mothers side.... Is his maternal grandfather bald? That's probably the answer. It's actually more rare to inherit it from your dad's side, I did actually, but the popular belief is that it comes from your mom's side.
Hi James, I'm not super familiar with Toppik but I believe it's a hair fiber that you dust in after it's dry. If you are applying to dry hair, the two should work great together!
Hi there, I used Minoxidil 5% it helps grow my hair so much and at the 5th month of using it I got amazing results then after that my hair started to fall like a crazy and I almost lost all the hair grown during the last couple months.Anyway, I am still on minoxidil5%, hopefully it will grow again. What do you think I should do?
+David Elia When did it start falling out? It could be a shedding phase. I also use Rogaine. Every spring, my hair starts to shed like crazy. Then it comes back. Not thicker or anything, but it comes back. Essentially what happens, is the minox kicks your hair out and the one's that come back are thicker.
3bonix The first time started falling after two months of being on minoxidil then my hair grew nice back till the 7th month "basically this spring" it started falling again, I'm still on minoxidil though!
David Elia Keep it up dude. Honestly, Rogaine doesn't grow my hair back, but it slows it down/ keeps what I have. As my bald father once told me: "Don't worry about hair falling out, worry when it doesn't come back". So just keep applying it. I'm actually going through a bad shedding phase myself right now.
3bonix Oh! me too.I'll stick with it for couple months and let's see what will happen. If it grows back that's will be awesome if not I'll shave it lol. Good luck bro.
@@cornstar1253 I used Toppik for a few months, just not worth it. Pillowcases will become all covered in brown dust, and eventually a girl will touch your hair and her hair will come away covered in brown dust. Embarrassing and not worth it, stick to natural, either these masking methods or very short haircuts. Women will like it more than Toppik in long run. Can't fool women.
I just saw this video, even though it’s from years ago. I have a male client who is very thin at the crown and has thin hair all on the top of his head. hey Jessica. You sprinkle or spray them in towards the scalp. We haven't used any of them so it would be hard to say which is best.

It does look a bit better. I don't think his hair loss is really all that bad, just has to keep it short. Certainly doesn't have to shave it all off yet.
who you fooling dawg?,, just embrace it and trim it up, you wear it well when you make it age appropriate ,,im 56 yrs old and have gone bald like this guy,,i go with a one clip on the sides and back and a two clip on the upper sides and trim the top with scissors ,yes you can see the bald spot on my crown but at my age it don't matter,,ive thinned out but haven't gone grey yet,,i do use mousse and sprits ,mousse makes it look thicker when blow dryed and sprits keeps it in place so the wind don't blow it around,,,or I use hair gel for a wet, moist look, gives it that 60's slick look,,,just depends on where im going, if I want volume I use a comb to lift the top and front and blow dry on low,,,it takes me all of 3 minutes or less,,some times I go with a fo hawk and it works out great even with the bald spot.,,i do my own hair because super cuts sucks, and I can do a better job because I know my hair and the style im going for.,,you can even grow your hair out a little from the front and go with a rock-a-billy look and it blends with your bald spot.
john Duran you're not fooling anyone either if you say you can see the baldspot on your crown with your hairstyle. Just shave it all off. You're 56 anyway which is a very acceptable age to be bald.
Im 18 and im going bald. But my hairs been falling since i was 16, my profile picture was when i was 16 ( even tho it may not look like it). Any tips for a young kid who doesnt wanna look like a hairless cat?
only hormones can help you... which you don't want to do i think. you can grow breasts (in case of androcur/estrogens) or lose your erections (finasteride). risk is high. i am a balding transgender person, so i don't mind side effects, as i feel like a female anyway. but i goess that's not your case. well, being a male has it's downfall after all :) you can also try derma roller + minoxidil. that's your last chance. i don't recommend going for hair transplant, well, it's good only if u manage to stop balding with derma-minoxidil (though the more u use it- the weaker minoxidil effects are). even if you transplant some hair - more will fall out. balding is a process. + hair u transplanted will eventually fall out too. it sucks :) so you have 3 options: minoxidil+ derma roller (which may help), accepting your baldness or... becoming a transgender for your hair xD
@@alicjaalvena1120 Thats hilarious, but it's a totally valid option. But why do you not just wear a wig like many transgender people do, seems like easier than the hormones and what not
Grow it long, slick it back or tie it back if it's only a spot - that works, mostly anyway, though it's probably not very fashionable for your age. When I was around 30 - 35 yrs old I would shave it all, but I got tired of doing that every couple of days and grew it out, tied it back. Probably you will end up shaving it. Personally I find all these products and hormones a waste of time, ive only tried a couple, they didn't work, and from what I hear none of them work for everyone and it one doesn't work the others don't tend to. none of them work completely, many of them do absolutely nothing for most people.
i wish you would take strong smell out of the redken mens products... my male clients won't even let me use it on them because the smell is so strong. not all men want to smell like an axe body spray. most of my men want unscented products!

Nice haircut
Great advice...from Trevor the barber uk
Is million dollar hair a good product?
It does look a bit better. I don't think his hair loss is really all that bad, just has to keep it short. Certainly doesn't have to shave it all off yet.
Thanks Cam... we agree. For guys that aren't ready to "just shave it off", a little better is a huge help.
Yessss!
I just "love" when male customers with thinning hair wants a longer hairstyle...
Rune Austad Visth Just curious, but why? As a man with thinning hair, I'd like to know.
I have cut a lot of men.. trying to cover their bald spots with a comb over or longer parts.. it's more obvious. :P
ah..I got it. you were being sarcastic and I overthought it. lol.
it's too late for me ! I have no hair on my head ! I don't have to shave my head because there is no hair to shave !
who you fooling dawg?,, just embrace it and trim it up, you wear it well when you make it age appropriate ,,im 56 yrs old and have gone bald like this guy,,i go with a one clip on the sides and back and a two clip on the upper sides and trim the top with scissors ,yes you can see the bald spot on my crown but at my age it don't matter,,ive thinned out but haven't gone grey yet,,i do use mousse and sprits ,mousse makes it look thicker when blow dryed and sprits keeps it in place so the wind don't blow it around,,,or I use hair gel for a wet, moist look, gives it that 60's slick look,,,just depends on where im going, if I want volume I use a comb to lift the top and front and blow dry on low,,,it takes me all of 3 minutes or less,,some times I go with a fo hawk and it works out great even with the bald spot.,,i do my own hair because super cuts sucks, and I can do a better job because I know my hair and the style im going for.,,you can even grow your hair out a little from the front and go with a rock-a-billy look and it blends with your bald spot.
john Duran you're not fooling anyone either if you say you can see the baldspot on your crown with your hairstyle. Just shave it all off. You're 56 anyway which is a very acceptable age to be bald.
I work at a supercuts. None of my customers own a blow dryer lol
he could easily do a comb over
your ear,its red!what happened?
shave it off....best decision ever!!!!!
Shut up bald fuck.
Bald people look like a race of clones. I love my hair even with a bald spot.
This bald man would knock your fuckin head off!
yeah, if your head isn't fucking deformed like mine.
Not everybody looks good when bald.
What about the top? Too much emphasis on product and not enough on cutting technique.
What is there to cut though?
He'll look better with the bald spot than he would fully bald
Agree. it still frames his face from looking like a egg.
I have thinning hair!😩
Thanks Ben Affleck
Loved this thank you!
Im 18 and im going bald. But my hairs been falling since i was 16, my profile picture was when i was 16 ( even tho it may not look like it). Any tips for a young kid who doesnt wanna look like a hairless cat?
only hormones can help you... which you don't want to do i think. you can grow breasts (in case of androcur/estrogens) or lose your erections (finasteride). risk is high. i am a balding transgender person, so i don't mind side effects, as i feel like a female anyway. but i goess that's not your case. well, being a male has it's downfall after all :)
you can also try derma roller + minoxidil. that's your last chance. i don't recommend going for hair transplant, well, it's good only if u manage to stop balding with derma-minoxidil (though the more u use it- the weaker minoxidil effects are). even if you transplant some hair - more will fall out. balding is a process. + hair u transplanted will eventually fall out too. it sucks :)
so you have 3 options: minoxidil+ derma roller (which may help), accepting your baldness or... becoming a transgender for your hair xD

Thats hilarious, but it's a totally valid option.
@@buckemptier wtf. do you even know what transsexuality is? i need to take hormones anyway. balding or not.
you helped me ALOT just by saying "mat product"
im dont have thining hair anymore
Great!! Thank you so much
This guy bob ross of hair
All this hate comments.. I'm the only one who thinks he did a nice job??
No ii agree with you
Sir you are the best
Thank you!
Dude I want your hair style!
i wish you would take strong smell out of the redken mens products... my male clients won't even let me use it on them because the smell is so strong. not all men want to smell like an axe body spray. most of my men want unscented products!
An unscented hair product line would wonderful for those of us with allergies and sensitivities to smells for sure.
haha ... axe body spray!
