Me too. I was a waitress in the USA and was once left a tip, and the little girl (maybe 7) at the table liked origami. With some assistance from her Dad, she painstakingly folded one dollar into a heart, and another into a ring shape because she liked me so much she wanted to make origami for me. It’s the only tip I’ve received as a waitress that I’ve never spent. I still have the origami heart and ring her tiny hands worked so hard to fold, and she made them for me 5 years ago now. They sit in a box with my other mementos and I’ll never spend those $2. The innocence of a child’s sincere gesture really does make one emotional.

There's actually a number you can call in the united states and it's to an elementary school, where the principal has let the little kids record words of encouragement. They even have different extensions for different things you might need help with. I called and some little boy said, "today....be grateful for yourself." I was so humbled, I cried. I've never thought to be grateful for myself.
As adults we forget the simple things in life and over complicate, over think everything. Kids are so innocent and have a more simple outlook....we need to stop and think like them sometimes. Love this! 💜

For me it was the first lady in the blue by the water. Even before the encounter it looked like she was dealing with something very emotional/personal, maybe a death of a loved one, and was looking beyond the water to relieve the pain. Then the guy came and at first she was lost in thought and didn’t want to talk to anyone, but once given the note and reading it, her emotions that she was bottling up came out. Then you see her crying a lot and breathing heavily as she tried to hold herself back viewing the water again. Both the first and last lady really looked like they needed those notes and I’m glad the children were able to hopefully cheer them up and let their bottle up emotions out to feel better.
4:24 I think it’s the question “Are you happy ?” That touched the woman. When I read it I just questioned myself and read a second time what the boy wrote. That made me conscious of the fact that I’m not always happy and when I arrived to the part when the kid suggest that I should do something to make myself happy it touched me so much that I couldn’t contain myself and shed tears. I have actually been in the same situation as that lady in 1:45. I actually cried when she started to cry. Sometimes I just cry in public, I think a part of me just wants to vent to a stranger. But another part of me just likes to cry alone while looking out at the sea. Life is very lonely. But doing that, even in public and could be embarrassing, was calming. One time, a homeless man came up to me to ask if I was ok. I really wanted to talk to him but I was embarrassed and told him not to worry. I wish I could go back and thank him, he was the only one who bothered to ask ❤
@@duncan3998 I just turn on the cartoon I downloaded when I get back home from work or while showering. It just calms me down and gives me a sense of security and warmth. Such as Spongebob, Powerrangers, Doraemon, Crayon Shin-Chan, Detective Conan, etc. Just listen to something that you feel safe and cozy with. At least that how I stay alive for the moment.
Damn. We’re all going through different things... but we’re all going through something. Seeing content like this just makes me want to give the strangers around me a big hug or encouraging pat on the back. Hopefully, we realize that we’re not alone in our struggles and pains.

Personally, i loved Jie's message. Everyone's message was so heartwarming, tho. But Jie's letter made me tear up a little. I used to watch cartoons when I was a kid too but now that I am already 18, I see life differently than I did before. There are things that I've only seen happening in movies that are already happening to people I know. Like people moving out of their homes to pursue higher education, friendships that are slowly growing apart, and many more. But that's just how life is. I can feel the pain by watching their expressions. You have no idea how much I wish for everyone to be happy. I just can't bear their pain. People deserves happiness, joy, health. I think what makes them emotional is the fact that these innocence and reality of life changes as we grow up..and we wish the world could have been that innocent as our childhood.
This made me cry. As an adult, being genuinely happy is different. So many obstacles to overcome usually by ourselves and its tough. Sometimes we just bottle it in and accept the life that we have as it is. We dont get to hear i love you as much, not many people to care for you, or hug u when ur sad. Many affectionate things that we've received as a child we dont receive when we're older.
I will forever be amazed by the emotional awareness of little kids. I was having a rough day at work a few days ago, on the verge of tears for most of the day. Not long after my boss growled at me for the third or fourth time, a little girl (maybe three) reached out and grabbed my hand, smiled, and said “hi!” I went to the back and cried with a couple of my co-workers after that, but my day was so much better afterward.

we never know what people went through and this kind of encouragement letters from stranger could mean everything for someone. also i love the way it sounds so pure and innocent but mature at the same time. i really hope those encouragement letters could give hopes, spirit, and happiness to them and all of us.
I have actually been in the same situation as that lady in 1:45. I actually cried when she started to cry. Sometimes I just cry in public, I think a part of me just wants to vent to a stranger. But another part of me just likes to cry alone while looking out at the sea. Life is very lonely. But doing that, even in public and could be embarrassing, was calming.
One time, a homeless man came up to me to ask if I was ok. I really wanted to talk to him but I was embarrassed and told him not to worry. I wish I could go back and thank him, he was the only one who bothered to ask ❤

@@duncan3998 I just turn on the cartoon I downloaded when I get back home from work or while showering. It just calms me down and gives me a sense of security and warmth. Such as Spongebob, Powerrangers, Doraemon, Crayon Shin-Chan, Detective Conan, etc. Just listen to something that you feel safe and cozy with. At least that how I stay alive for the moment.

Damn. We’re all going through different things... but we’re all going through something. Seeing content like this just makes me want to give the strangers around me a big hug or encouraging pat on the back. Hopefully, we realize that we’re not alone in our struggles and pains.

Personally, i loved Jie's message. Everyone's message was so heartwarming, tho. But Jie's letter made me tear up a little. I used to watch cartoons when I was a kid too but now that I am already 18, I see life differently than I did before. There are things that I've only seen happening in movies that are already happening to people I know. Like people moving out of their homes to pursue higher education, friendships that are slowly growing apart, and many more. But that's just how life is. I can feel the pain by watching their expressions. You have no idea how much I wish for everyone to be happy. I just can't bear their pain. People deserves happiness, joy, health. I think what makes them emotional is the fact that these innocence and reality of life changes as we grow up..and we wish the world could have been that innocent as our childhood.
This made me cry. As an adult, being genuinely happy is different. So many obstacles to overcome usually by ourselves and its tough. Sometimes we just bottle it in and accept the life that we have as it is. We dont get to hear i love you as much, not many people to care for you, or hug u when ur sad. Many affectionate things that we've received as a child we dont receive when we're older.
I will forever be amazed by the emotional awareness of little kids. I was having a rough day at work a few days ago, on the verge of tears for most of the day. Not long after my boss growled at me for the third or fourth time, a little girl (maybe three) reached out and grabbed my hand, smiled, and said “hi!”
I went to the back and cried with a couple of my co-workers after that, but my day was so much better afterward.
