Pole Climbing, Working On Rythm!

After work one day doing some climbing. I was working on rythm. step flip, step flip! the poles were properly check before I got my gear on and I was not in the vicinity of any energized lines.

Don’t kick your leg out when coming down. Just enough to get the gaff out the pole. Lock aim drop. Otherwise looking good bud

I have to kick my leg out like that. So much force coming down into the pole it just buries my gaff. The only way I can get it out. I'll try smaller steps and see how that works. Thank you!

Try to lock and when you lock and drop. Instead of kicking your leg out. Try to make a upside down J basically kick your toe into the pole and lift up and out. It will keep you in line where you don’t have to kick out
