Bro, same. I just rode this ride today and have been researching the ride ever since I got sick. It ruined the rest of my time at the park. I was thinking “I cannot be the only one who felt like they were going to die on this ride”. I was so nauseous. Putting you on your back while swirling you around, whose idea even was that? I was really disappointed in this ride. I’m just shocked, actually in DISBELIEF not everyone gets sick on this ride. I had to shut my eyes and it felt like it was never going to end. I felt you on the “maybe I’m just getting old and sad” but I found others who feel how I do and that makes me feel better lol.
Lol, I used to really like this ride, but yeah it messes me up now. It’s funny, I’ve been on this ride so many times and we even got stuck on it twice, at the worst moment near the tree when you’re basically upside down. But lately it’s kicking my butt. I’m going down for Halloween horror nights in a few weeks and I’ll be passing on this ride. I’m looking forward to the new Jurassic Park roller coaster! Thanks for checking out my video Trisha!

Went in 2017. Couldn’t even keep my eyes open. Thought I was the only one but randomly thought about it (planning a trip to Universal for Halloween this year) and pleased to find out it’s not a me thing. I heard people used things like Dramamine and Sea-bands to help with the sickness. Going to try this next go around!
Lol, so this March (2024) I finally rode it again after making this video. My strategy was to keep my eyes open, but try not to stare too hard into those video screens. I survived and did not have any post ride sickness. That said, I’m not sure. I’m gonna write it this year when I go to horror nights. I don’t wanna push my luck too much. I hope this helps, cheers!
It's so wierd, my mom will get motion sick on literally every other motion based ride, including roller coasters, but comes off of this perfectly fine 😭
I totally agree with you. My wife and I were ruined for the rest of the day since we rode this one as our 3rd ride of the day (did Gringotts and then the Griffin rollercoaster). Literally every other ride in those two parks are 3d motion sickness rides it seemed. :(

Lol, I got sick my 2nd go round with my son. They shut the ride down, turned the lights on and announced “biohazard” over the loud speaker. I fault having a butterbeer in between. I bet there’s a photo somewhere out there because it happened when they take your picture.
Oh man, lol, biohazard! I love the Hagrid coaster (night is awesome!), but I think I need to pass on this one from now on. I value eating and drinking and this ruins the afternoon.
I was so excited to ride this ride and then got so sick just a few seconds in, I had to close my eyes for the rest of the ride. Came off and made it to the bathroom just in time to throw up like crazy! Ruined the rest of my day.

It should be fixed 100% - I NEVER get motion sickness and felt it both times I went on this week 😢. It sucks because it has so much potential to be amazing and puke free.
Yeah I’m not sure what happened. In the first couple years I was fine. Then recently it’s making me sick. It’s too bad, because it’s a spectacular ride.
This ride kicked me straight through the head. I couldn't do much of anything for about 2 hours after. I knew I was gonna vomit and then the ride ended and I barely made it to the trash can. If I could re do today and skip that ride I'd probably have had a much better day with the family
@@EvrydayErik honestly it was a really fun ride all things considered. If I didn't get sick I'd have gone on again. I'd maybe go around the park and leave that ride to the end but hey we all have different stomaches right
I've never felt motion sickness. I never understood how people even got it. I love motion simulators, but forbidden journey messed me up bad. Everyone in my party was not feeling great for a while after that ride. I liked it at the time, but I don't think I'll get on it again tbh.
Yeah, I’ve passed on this ride ever since I made the video. It’s a great looking ride. And I had no problem with it when it first came out. But I don’t want to feel nauseous the rest of the day anymore. Something changed, I thought it was me getting old.
Hated that ride. Went yesterday got there in the morning and that was the first ride. I had to close my eyes almost the whole ride and I threw up in the trash can right after. I had to sit at a table to rest for 2 hours. My wife was talking about getting season passes and I was thinking I don't want to come back at all.

The best ride in that park is the velociraptor roller coaster. No sickness involved. Those parks are some of my favorites, but I do avoid this ride nowadays. I hope your trip gets better.
I’m going back this month and I’m still gonna skip this ride. I haven’t been on it since making the video. I’m gonna stick to the velociraptor coaster which is incredible!
I had the exact same thing, first ride we went on, within a couple of mins I was really hot and felt sick. Pretty much felt sick the whole day. Pretty much ruined the whole time really. Safe to say I won’t go on that again lol.
Poor projection is what I noticed first but then became nauseas and could not focus on the ride. I am a huge HP fan but this ride was garbage. Everyone getting off looked ill and unhappy. They spent so much to make this and ended up with a terrible ride. I literally feel sick just thinking of riding this one again.

They turned on the lights and we just hung there for about a half hour. But you might be right about the projection. It’s blurry and looks bad. Something in there is making me sick lately so I’m not going on it anymore.
My biggest concern. I haven’t ever had motion sickness but everyone or almost everyone who rides this gets sick. My mom was sick the whole day the moment she got off. So- guess we’ll see oof
Yeah it’s funny with some of these universal rides. I went on the Hogwarts castle many times when it first came out with no issues. But yes, now it does cause me motion sickness. Hagrid roller coaster is fantastic and his issue free. Same with velocicoaster, no problems. The rip ride rocket roller coaster and studios, is starting to make me have yucky feelings. Apparently that is also happening to other people. And this is a coaster that I love to ride multiple times in a row. I would still give Hogwarts a shot, maybe you’ll just be not hungry for about an hour, good luck!

I rode the hollywood version yesterday . No idea what to expect . Definitely don’t eat or drink prior to riding . Also don’t take shrooms🍄🍄 🍄

Yeah, I think I’ve skipped on this ride ever since I’ve been back. Bad news is the new Frankenstein castle ride in the new park uses the same vehicle.
