Across Dimming Asterisms is very nice. It's a general combat BGM in the Sumeru desert ruins area, and is not specifically linked to a certain BOSS. What surprised me the most was that in this Egyptian/Arab/Middle Eastern music style, Hoyomix actually used the erhu as one of the leading instruments, and there was no sense of violation at all.

Concerning your question about "Vol.2", music for Genshin is released outside of the game in the form of albums, separated by regions in game. "The Shimmering Voyage" is a set of albums that releases once a year and includes all music for cutscenes in the game that came out after the previous album's release, as well as music that is present in limited-time areas for that year's summer event. There are currently 3 volumes released, and the 4th one should be coming this July/August.
Anyway, neat reaction, will be looking forward to more.😊

    Sumeru Main Theme,
    Hustle and Bustle of Ormos,

Polumnia Omnia (cd version, live version is a different singer),

@@sightseek3r The live version is still really good, but I just prefer the original in-game version. I heard someone say the difference is that the live version has a very mature and older voice, while the game version has a young and more naïve/angry voice. So the "story" feels very different when the other singer sings it

I think the music is unprecedentedly cool in Sumeru, but I also enjoy a lot of the Fontaine ost. I think there's also a charm in teh contrast between music I'm used to VS music I'm absolutely not used to (like Sumeru's)

This is one of the many many overworld battle themes within Genshin (though unfortunately it’s from a limited time event)
You can hear this sort of thing while fighting a simple goblinesk enemy. You also have the boss themes (which are the absolute best that this game has to offer) but the overworld themes are great, and every individual character, trailer, teaser, and so on has an original soundtrack.
Genshin also goes multiculturally when it comes to its soundtracks. Chinese, Japanese, Middle eastern, General European, and French for the general inspirations and soundscape.
It’s a *very* deep rabbit hole, but it’s an amazing one too.
The next song I recommend is Polumnia Omnia (Both phase 1 and 2) as it is one of the main boss fights within the game. (Though the in game one, the live version has a different singer)
I also HIGHLY recommend the Sumeru, Fontaine, and Inazuma live concerts, along with the live concerts for all the ones before.

Should have put this in my last comment, but whatever... that's what I get for commenting before finishing watching the video.
First and foremost, any Genshin song is an experience. If you like orchestral stuff... welcome to the jungle, my friend! If you want something with more beat to it (like this one), try the boss themes. But most of the songs are orchestral xD
Genshin is a open-world adventure RPG. If you want to compare with something, THE THING to compare it with is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Another somewhat similar game is Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth.
Genshin is a behemoth in terms of content. It's an on-going game and they update it every 40 days (or something). And every update brings a BUNCH of new stuff. At least one new character (usually two), map locations, quests, events, and so on. I started playing about six months after the game came out and it took me 2 years to (almost) catch up.
The main quest should take you about 50 hours if you play it really fast and do nothing else beside it. But the thing is... the main quest is just the main quest, you lose A LOT of good stuff if you only do that.
One thing you should know before playing Genshin, though, is that it's a gatcha game. So, careful with it :/
    Stay safe!

Yeah, the Genshin music is simply amazing from just the background music in any area (because the game is an open world ARPG) to boss battle themes. You should listen to "La Signora Battle Theme All Phases" it's one of my favourite. Also you shouldn't worry about copyright HYV doesn't strike down anything and even lets people use their music however they like. They support fan art/creations. I've seen many youtubers and streamers use is as background music in their videos/streams. If you ever get a strike it's a false flag from someone who's taking advantage and you should fight it.

    - Envoi of Coppelius and Aubade of Coppelia
    - Virelai des marees
    - Parousia Diluvi
And more favorites from other regions:

    - The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings (the Sumeru launch trailer music)
    - God-Devouring Mania
    - Chrysalis Suspirii and Saltatio Favillae (they're parts of the same boss fight ost)
    - Symphony of Boreal Wind

@@YoSunnyP yw ^^ I also forgot to note one small thing, 'Aubade of Coppelia' and 'Envoi of Coppelius' are essentially two different versions of the same boss theme. The boss is a pair of dancing mechanical puppets, Coppelia and Coppelius, and depending on which one you choose to fight, you hear a different theme, but what's interesting is that if you merge the two themes (you can find the merged version on youtube) it sounds like the complete version it's supposed to be.

Let me just say, the world of videogame music is massive and there are some amazing OST and themes to find
Genshin itself has amazing music, but I would love to see how you feel about Bloodborne's OSTs (some of my favorites in games)
I totally recommend Ludwing's theme 'The Accursed and Holy Blade' Amazing instrumentals there

Nice video! Yeah, one of the few things people agree on regarding Genshin is that every single track is just incredible. A lot of people focus on the battle tracks (like this one) and boss music, for good reason, but honestly even if you just grabbed an area track those are also so nice and atmospheric and really add to the in-game experience.
I've seen a couple people recommend some city themes such as Sumeru and Fontaine, which I definitely second. If you'd like to see them performed live, the official Genshin channel has videos of them there. Regarding some boss music, if you want some starting themes to look at, personally I'm a huge fan of Scaramouche's boss themes (there's compilations of the different phases but there's three total for that one), and the All-Devouring Narwhal theme.
If you really want a taste of a good mix of orchestral and electronic sounds, definitely check out Scaramouche's themes first. They're phenomenal in that regard and that music remains among my top favourites from Genshin.

    - Are all the Genshin Impact OSTs this good?
    - Yes, people probably recommend to do a reaction of the demos but that can be a pretty long video so... If you want to enjoy more of the songs i would recommend archons demos (just five of them) or the weekly bosses.
    Archons Theme:
    - Bard's Adventure
    - Rex incognito
    - Termination of desires
    - Surasthana Fantasia
    - Se mettre sur son trente-et-un

Early sumeru and late 2.0 were peak Genshin ever since then nothing really comes close to what they put out in terms of music

Genshin already has around 30 hours of soundtrack, and every single OST is at the level of this one or even better. This one was a battle theme in a limited-time event in-game.
If you want to listen to more, I would recommend "Combat Beneath the Waves", "Across Dimming Asterisms" and "Inevitable Conflict", all three are banger battle themes, and all of them have different sound due to them being from completely different areas of the game (the map is also huge btw.).
There are seven nations in Genshin(currently 5 available), each one of them is based on a real world country and/or part of the world:
    Mondstadt - Germany (Central Europe)
    Liyue - China
    Inazuma - Japan
Sumeru - Middle East + Egypt and India
Fontaine - France and UK (Western Europe)
Natlan - we do not know for sure yet, but presumably South America or Afrika
    Snezhnaya - Russia (Eastern Europe)
And every region of the game embodies the culture of the corresponding real world inspiration, it also defines how the music would sound, you will notice the more you listen to Genshin music.
I can write a whole lot more information about the game, but I think it's good enough for now to give an idea of what Genshin is like.
(If someone wants to add something, feel free)

Die mittsommernacht-fantasie is german for the mid summer night fantasy. I am no expert on both languages but i am dutch and i grew up surrounded by both.
Die, pronounce like “Thee” but T=D and shorten the ee a bit.
Mitt, basically mid but with a harsh T
Sommer, pronounce the O like the O in somber. The S like you’re imitating a snake, make it short and harsh
Nacht, ch is a very unique sounds in dutch and german. Here is where i give up, put it in google translate and let it read it for you.
German is a language that is spoken in the front of the mouth. English on the other hand is more spoken in the throat, so when you pronounce it, try and use your mouth cavity more. Best way i can describe it.
Fantasie, engish fun and the fan here sound very similar in punctuation. Twist the u a bit to a short À. Ta like in tart. Sie in see but a bit shortened.

I have been following you for your Hazbin, Helluva Boss and First take reactions and I am soooooooo excited to see you react to Genshin content!! Genshin OSTs are absolutely beautiful and innovative! Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie is a nice introduction to what they can do (blending classical with hints of modern touch) and they will absolutely take that skill and use it 400%!
If you want to hear some cool music and fun characters to go along with it, I'd love to suggest reacting to Genshin's Character demos (from oldest to newest) because they have some fun personalized music you'll vibe with!
If not the demos, I highly suggest some of their boss music because they go WILD with that. There are two among others that I hope you'd react to and that's Scaramouche's boss theme (all phases) (ruclips.net/video/SDxSxMx6OwM/видео.html), and All-Devouring Narwhal boss theme (ruclips.net/video/1GZpZAwBqHk/видео.html)
CAnt wait to see more of your works! Keep up the great work!

If you do reactions to trailers and demos please do them in order of release date. The playlist is newest to oldest but the older ones quality is mid compared to the newer ones so you'll be bored out of your mind if you watch the really well made new trailers for 2 hours and then have to watch 30 minutes of terrible trailers at the end. Get the bad out first lol just a tip for the future of character demos and teasers as well as version trailers

@@YoSunnyP I'd also warn that if you do gain any interest in playing the game yourself, it might be better NOT to react to the "Story Teasers" as many of them are just cutscenes taken right from the game and contain heavy spoilers. The Demos, Character Teasers, and Version Trailers are all pretty safe though.
