Happened to me on both character and weapon banner this time. I got an early nilou, nilou weapon and jade spear going for kirara and xiphos
Happened to me a few days ago, idk why I wanted kaveh since he’s the only 4 star I don’t have and I had a guaranteed but Nilou took it 😭

well Starglitter could be used to get character constellations or unique 4 star weapons instead of fates that you can get with primos

Every banner is cruel for 4 stars. When Faruzan first came out I tried to get her C6 right away por my Xiao... I got 4 5stars and only C3 Faruzan
you know it’s bad when a four star is more rare than a 5 star.
A specific 4 star will always be more rare than a 5 star. There's no guarantee, ever.
There are more C6 Neuvillette, Furina and Yelan havers than there are C6 Chevreuse haver
meanwhile i don't have a sethos or chevreuse and i summoned on both their banners and here you are getting them on a freaking weapon banner...

My Personal Xiphos experience, it went like this:
3.1 Nilou got released, alongside Key, and Xiphos. So I did a random 10 pull to see if I could snipe it.. and instead I got a Double Key with No Pity at all- and the best thing I had Jade Cutter as my Fate point, which were maxed thanks to that!
40 pulls in, I got Jade Cutter, and some Wandering Evenstar, but NO XIPHOS. Still took the W, insane luck, even tho I was trying for Xiphos
Today, it's 4.8, I did the same thing, I had 0 pity again, did a random 10 pull with just the Fates from monthly reset.. again, DOUBLE 5 Star!! This time it was a Verdict followed by another Key, which is great since I got a stupid Skyward Spine on the Verdict/Mistsplitter banner!
It's crazy that it happened AGAIN, Double Early 5* TWICE just cause of Xiphos.. THAT I STILL DON'T HAVE 😭
TLDR: Don't pull for Xiphos, nor any other 4* weapon, unless you want the 5 Star weapon too, the game knows too well!
As a f2p I was tempted to try for Xiphos. I have now been cured of that desire. Thank you Mr Xlice and I am so so sorry
Pulled all the way up to like 70 pity on navia and decided maybe I should save it for Emilie, I do like navia and I enjoy playing her every chance I can but I don't think I like her enough to swap out playing with arlecchino. Plus if kinich relates to burning too maybe him and Emilie will be a good pair and I like kinichs design. Emilie is meh design wise but off field dendro is just such a good role. Also sniped 1 xiphos in like 15 pulls so I'm happy about that

I did 78 pulls, lost my 50/50 and didn't get a single Kaveh. But at least I have a guarantee for Natlan T^T

This weapon banner has been crazy, I hit hard pity on the key in under 30 pulls.. in 28 pulls I got primordial jade spear, a verdict and then the key.
I was lucky on the first banner of Xiphos during Sumeru arc. I got C3 while trying to get primordial jade cutter and I lost to Key twice.... but I am not complaining. Its a useful weapon for Nilou, Kuki, Layla and some are using it for Furina

I also pulled for 4 stars on this banner. C5 Kirara and a Kaveh on Navia's banner and hopefully R3 or better Xiphos before I got Key. I got 2 Kiraras and 2 Kavehs before getting a 5 star, so I could save my guaranteed character. On the weapon banner I was still pretty lucky lucky, getting Verdict as my first 5 star. But getting R3 Xiphos on my way to pity, then getting Key. And on the last pull in the 10-pull where I got Key I got my R4 Xiphos.

I also pulled on this banner for xiphos was at 40 pity went thirty pulls got 3 copies of xiphos one rosaria one eye of perception and ended up pulling a key of khaj nisut

It's only good at R5 and even then still often worse than Fav
The Key is one of best of the now few general weapons. Good if you want HP or both HP and EM.

If you're interested in Mualani, her signature is going to be paired with Freedom Sworn in just one month - that's way more worthwhile if you want both of those weapons.

Sorry for my poor English, i start genshin with 3.8 and this game my first gacha game and i am f2p. People sometimes say “rng god” etc but i am almost sure one and only rule in a gacha game “Murphy’s Laws” . When you need something, you almost always get opposite. I pull raiden and yoimiya, i have a guarantee limited weapon because i get “skyward atlas” on earlier banners and i have rust r3 for Yoimiya but i risk it to get Engulfing Lightning, i roll and i get all of them at hard pity in that order, Thundering Pulse, Amos Bow, Engulfing Lightning. I try to get FAVONIUS LANCE on weapon banner just before this, i roll 30-40 pull but i do not get, i have not a single copy of a FAVONIUS LANCE 😔

I got r4 xiphos 2 yrs ago trying to pull for jade cutter for my ayato but got key of khaj-nisut instead. 😢 now here i am 2 yrs later single pulling every 160 primos trying to get nilou 😅
Fortunately only took me single 10 pull to get xiphos 😅
When u want a five star: goes to hard pity and loses the fifty fifty and get the four star characters u want. When u want a four star: gets early five star and doesn’t get the four star u want. Relatable. Hehe.
Everyone really do experience things differently but the weapon banner is a scam so expectations are in order
I somehow managed to get Xipho's Moonlight from scratch "0" to R5 in 92 pulls while also getting key of khaj nisut
Its interesting because by my 5th 10 pull I got my first xipho's then proceed to get one each ten pull after except my 2nd to last one and on the last 10 pull where I stopped at I got double xipho's drop I felt pretty lucky also I never got a single eye of perception during my pulls but definitely got a lot of rust and bell tho
I want Xiphos really bad cause it would help my account, but I know better than too risk it on the weapon banner.
I did 4-5 Multis and not a single Xiphos.
I am not gonna risk my pity for any of those 5 star weapon.

Thanks for the reality check for me to stay at r3 xiphos moonlight. It took 3 5 star weapons, hard pity each time, for me just to get r3. Kazuha enjoy usung fav forever.

I honestly hate it, i went hard pity twice on shenhe banner and eula and the chronicle banner cause i lost 50/50 on all of them and i didn't get a single mika even if he had a rate up in all of those. Hoyo not caring about their players made me quit the game

It's good for kazuha/kuki shinobu because the weapon passive increase the energy recharge for the whole team, Scales based on how much elemental mastery the user has. Thats why it's the best 4 star weapon for kazuha/kuki
I tried for this weapon. Got Navias signature (don't use claymores at all), got 3 4-star characters, got the dumb claymore a couple times, a few catalysts and rust copies, and 0 xiphos. Like how did I average 2 4 stars each 10-pull but got no sword
i was pulling for that sword too but accidentally pulled on Nilou on guaranteed 30 pity and got her 💀
Yeah I built some pity myself accidentally on navia but wiffed. 8k primos to get one key for me could of been worse.

Bruh. I decided to roll for a single copy of Kaveh. Took SEVENTY PULLS for it to happen. Along the way I got 3 copies of Nilou winning 3 50/50's in 61 pulls. Luck was crazy yesterday.
