Do not rush yourself to be a VA know on the basics and work on your skills. This module is motivating everyone to believe on yourself especially the skills you have. Thank you coach Jam ☺
I love it! TAKE A LEAP.. I know there's is a process on everything. I sometimes hate myself because I am afraid of rejections, but now I realized that it's all part of the process, there's no such thing of instant success in our life. It also needs prayer and perseverance.
This module gives me relief and confidence that even though i dont have a VA experience, my experiences in corporate jobs is just enough to continue to become a VA.
I have an experience! ,Is something that I learned from this module. Entering this industry is kind of intimidating and overwhelming for me. That's why I am so grateful when I discover this Barangay VA. This module taught me that I can if I put the work into it.
This module is motivating especially to us newbie.I learn that I should not focus on zero experience on VA but instead look forward and learn more about the skills that I have.Thank you so much for giving us hope and inspiring us newbie to pursue our goal.
In this module, I learned about the essential tools needed to be an effective Virtual Assistant. Having a reliable laptop or computer with a Core i5 processor or higher, at least 8GB of RAM, and ample storage is crucial for handling tasks efficiently. A quality camera and noise-canceling headphones are also important, especially for virtual meetings. Additionally, a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 20mbps is necessary to ensure smooth communication and workflow. This module highlighted the importance of investing in the right tools to deliver professional and uninterrupted service to clients.
As a fresh graduate, I realized that I do have experience, but I don’t know how to use it as my advantage. I realized that for an experience begins when you yourself take a leap and adjust to the environment you are in. You need to breath and continue. Being a VA, you need to be mentally prepared and ready for any rejections and move forward. You should have a strong will and use those rejections as your experience and improve.
Thank you so much Coach Jam for this very helpful module. I just realized na and dami ko palang "experience" and sarili ko lang talaga kalaban ko all through out this journey kasi lagi kong sinasabi na "ay baka di ako matanggap kasi wala akong experience, which is di naman pala. Having a right mindset hits different talaga you just need to take some actions para talagang ma reach yung goal mo.
This module made me realize that I have experience. Although it might not be VA experience yet but I have a college degree, I can work remotely because of my work experience as an IT analyst for US Business, due to that, I was able to communicate english proficiently and I am adaptable to change since before I worked as an IT Analyst, I worked in different field related to failure analysis engineering. Thank you, Jam, for making realize these things. Kudos!
Sometimes, I get discouraged when most of the job posts I find are always looking for VAs with experience. I tend to underestimate my skills and abilities basta qualifications na because the imposter syndrome kicks in talaga. I had my last general VA training 2 years ago pa and more on research and data entry lang remote work experience ko. Pero this module helped me realized na I am qualified pala in many ways and I still have an experience, hindi nga lang formal VA experience. I already made a business profile during my VA training pero hindi ko lang na-apply kasi ibang remote work ang nakuha ko. Thank you Coach for this video!
I really believe that experience is not just talking about the employment history. I just found here in this video that there is more than that. I have to enhance and learn some specific plus transferable skills to make myself go to a variety of places. Resulting to greater opporunities to present. Thanks, Coach Jam!
This module basically explores your strength and experiences. Relevant experiences that we could use in becoming a successful VA. And we should 2:09 to take time in honing our skills because this what we are selling for to ou future client.
Thank you, Coach Jam! I never thought I could pursue a career as a VA without prior experience. I realize now that I need to practice and develop some of the hidden skills within me.
Thanks Jam! I was able to identify my transferrable skills that I'm really good at from my previous job that can be use as a service to my future client.
In this module gave me confidence because I realized that I already have the experience /transferrable skills, but I also understand that there are still a lot for me to learn about freelancing and everything about becoming a good VA.
I learned that I can confidently say that I have experience, even though I don’t have literal virtual assistant experience, because of the specific skills that I have and the tools that I know how to use. I also learned that I need to customize all of my business profiles for every job application that I submit. In the future, when I start applying as a virtual assistant, I also need to learn to embrace rejections, adjust, and take a leap (send job applications again and again until I get my 1st client).
Thankyou coach for this video. It's a relief for us who are afraid to try new things. And this video made me realise that atleast I got 3 out of 7. Which I think boost my self confidence.
This would really help us to identify this Coach Jam! Kasi usually I felt this is not for me kasi walang VA Experience but do have a lot of experience practically. Hopefully I can transfer this skill for my future client! God bless Coach.
Thank you for this video! I learned that sometimes we are our own critic, in a sense that we have the tendencies to limit ourselves, na kesyo "hindi ko kaya", or "wala akong experience" kaya ayaw nalang din mag take ng leap. Transitioning in to the VA world takes a lot of courage and trust sa skills mo.
Now I know. I have a lot of profile na ginawa, this is the way na din para mas maintindihan ko po. And thank you sir Jam for this. I got to understand well.
I am motivated now I thought my past experiences on my other jobs didn't matter but it did. Will be further enhancing my skills so I will be more marketable 😊
This module helps me to clarify things especially on having an experience because that is my mindset before that I don't have any experience. How can my resume attract clients if I don't have any experience? Thank you Coach Jam for this clarification.
Learned about the definition of experiences, identify and applyur past work experiences, update my business profile, and make a research on the companies about that you are targeting
Thank you for clarifying the term experience for us aspiring VAs po. Kinda hesitant because I have no idea how to start without anything to back me up but this made me realize that I just have to re-assess the experiences I already gained.
Customizing your portfolio to match the Company's requirements seems daunting since you have to do it every time you are not chosen and rejected, but somehow it works because you get these companies' attention not wasting any more time waiting for non-responsive ones.
This module explores your strength and experiences that is relevant in becoming successful VA. Here to remind us to take time to hone the skills what we are selling for.
PRESENT!❤ what I learned: Whenever I search for job postings and read the requirements, I always say to myself, "Hey, you can't do that... you don't have the experience". Then I get scared coz questions will then run through my mind " What if I really can't do it?" "What if I'm not ready?" "What if this isn't for me?" But now I realized while watching this video, there is no such thing as "no experience" because there will always be some time in your life, whether it be in school or at work that you did something relevant to the job you want now. And if you think you are still not ready or not fit for it, then work hard to upskill, and then, when you feel ready, go, take the leap, and try your luck... Who knows right? Maybe you will get the job. ❤🎉
I now know that I should not focus on having zero VA experience alone and should look on the specific skill that I have, specific tools that I know how to use, and my English communication skills and use them as my base experience to help myself get in the virtual assistant world.
Thank you for this encouragement module coach Jam! ☺️ In this module, I learned that there is nothing to complain about in terms of experience because selling online is an experience (marketing, inventory, and creativity). Another thing I learned today was adaptability and adjustments to become a successful virtual assistant.
Each one of us has experience, we just have to identify what are those transferrable skills we have based on our previous job or even in our college degree.
This is what I'm really worried about. I do not have experience. I'm afraid that it will be difficult to become a VA. But I learned that what I don't have is a JOB experience. And that is okay. What I will do is discover and develop skills hidden in me.
Thank you for this module coach Jam! 🙂 Madami pong learnings as usual. Tumatak po sakin "Update your Business Profile". Lalo na po ang pag create ng intro video. Walang general cv na pwede sa lahat, dapat talaga customize per apply. It takes time and effort, no need to rush. Everyday is a learning day. Abang po ulet sa next module!
What I learned is, customized your profile based on the skills you can serve to the client, practice to improve your skills because you already have skills set you need only to improve it even without VA experience...thanks coach ❤
Even if I still don't have an experience with a specific job, I just need to identify my transferrable skills so that I can still be of service with a company.
