Craig’s stoicism is commendable. He bites his lip when his good ideas are rejected, he vapes rather than overshadow his fellows bad decisions.
I'm amazed at his ability to play wildly different characters. I do miss screeching lizardman, hiding behind bookshelves, oz special quite a bit, but stoic giant has been an interesting change of pace.
I love the contrast between Craig playing the strong and silent Fletch and Justin masterfully playing a pretentious wad, Izar. 🤣
Two things to note for LadyLavinias:
1) Grappling only requires one hand, so you could've absolutely attacked while holding on to the duergar, or even grappled the other one.
2) If you use the Shove action to knock someone prone while they're grappled, you can make melee attacks against them with advantage and their attacks will get disadvantage. Not only that, but they won't be able to just stand up, since that requires movement they now don't have. Pretty nasty combo, just remember that ranged attacks have disadvantage against prone targets.
All of that said, this campaign has been a blast so far, and I can't wait for the next episode.

Yes! That character is of course a nod to Dread Pirate Roberts, from The Princess Bride, a film that holds a very special place in my heart as it's what I watched on the first date with my partner of nearly 10 years now!
There were a few subtle nods, including I believe saying he might kill them in the morning or something to that effect.
@@joegaylord87 and the line "you seem like a decent fellow. I'd hate to kill you." Was very sad no one made the appropriate reply.
This group is just amazing. I myself started playing DnD for the first timer ever a couple months ago, seeing streamers I really enjoy watching, playing and having fun, is so great. Congrats to all for the great content!

Man you guys are all great! Absolutely G&G is easily my favourite online content of all time. Justin was on especially good form this episode, hilarious, keep it up all and thanks for doing this I know its probably not the most lucrative type of content creation, will definitely try and drop you all a twitch prime over next couple months as some small way to support you all (as well as like and subscribe :p )

Things have been much more hectic lately, but dropping a comment nonetheless. I’m still midway through the episode and can’t wait to finish it tonight! Keep it up and don’t be afraid to get weird with it a little more guys, I want to see some risks taken. I want to see @Merchant sweat a little bit.
Dorothea has changed from Shield Dwarf to Human, and they were ALL level 1 last episode, and now it says they are Level 3??? Did i miss something?

I'm a little confused how anybody would get a boat between this lake and the ocean. That seems like a very daunting and silly task.

Your Paladin definitely doesn't act like one what so ever. Is she an evil paladin? Gambling, drinking, lying...very unpaladin like. If I was the GM I'd call them out on it.
Maybe you should wait and see what unfolds :)
She is an oath of glory, so a paladin who just wants to be victorious and famous, not a particular fan of them, not thematically or mechanically, but hey, they exist....
@Merchant I do plan to. I've enjoyed your content in the past and this is no different. If you ever need someone to play with you guys I have some RUclips content (although I deleted a bunch a year ago) I have played DnD for about 15 years or so and have played Magic since revised (not that it really matters lol) I also have a background in tv/radio. I'd love to play and I've been wanting to terribly.
Someone is playing flawed character with realistic personality traits in a game about creativity, personal exploration, and having fun with their friends? Can't have that can we. They need to play the way I like to play or they shouldn't play at all, am I right?
@@skimask38 The intent of my reply is addressing the rules for Paladin, not a critique on how the person is playing it. Paladins generally have to be good people as part of the rules for Paladin. I like the person playing Paladin and I enjoy her play style actually.
