Hey Grant, I just bought my *first* TJ!! I’ve been wanting one for a while now and especially after seeing your old one. Your vids with the old TJ have had me aching to get out there with my own and I finally have it. Thanks man.
Finally, picked one of these up for my GFC. I know you don't rock the GFC anymore, but still here for the content. I was looking for a discount code, but it appears that it was a one time offer.
Pretty cool this is coming out of Springdale! Graduated there in 2001. If y’all have any business plans in central Arkansas in the future sign me up!! Great video! Keep them coming!
Great video thank you for the information, I have two heavily modified wranglers that I have one I’ve been setting up to overland however a friend of ours has a taco he will be modifying and I send him the videos for ideas
The fire can that you have I got the same one too but I bought a 12 foot hose with a 30 pound regulator and it really helped little bit hotter and the bottled will haver to be so close to it
Thank you for the video update with the GFC. We are good freinds with Brian Rayf.... Toyota Overlanders. We are pumped since we just picked up Dec 4th 2022 a GFC V2 second hand for a Ford Ranger. Just got my double bubble seal kit yesterday. Nice to see how you sealed up all the back end. Great having Brian around so we can get the cliffsnotes on how to build out the GFC...we plan to skip the inside shower build out. We subscribed nice to see real content without all the added fillers. Wait you forgot to make coffee, ride an electric bike then jump on the Inflatable paddle board. Maybe next video. On that note please get on Brian to make more YT content please! I keep offering him help....crickets..... What do you think about the new decked system that is now one drawer? Would you prefer your setup with 2 drawers with one deleted or would you think the new one is better? Would love your thoughts thanks!
Love the setup brother! Are you still able to close the camper pretty easily with the 2" mattress topper? Also are you getting any leaking in your camper? Mine seems to leak when closed in pretty good rainstorms water is coming through on the passenger side some how
Yep! I can close it easily. I've had some water come in sometimes during heavy rain, but not an insane amount. No water gets in when its deployed and its raining, only when its shut for some reason. Not enough to worry about. I open it up every month or so
What rubber strip did you use for the tail gate? I thought a bed cover would help fix my dust issue but I quickly learned the bed needs a LOT more work 😂
What kind of radio do you recommend? I've already got a CB radio on my rig, but I see most folks have some kind of a ham setup. I see you've got a Midland radio sponsorship.
GMRS radio! Those are the best kind. CB is way outdated and doesn't work very good at all compared to GMRS. HAM is great, but you need a pretty extensive setup, license, and not as many people are on HAM in the overland community. I run the Midland MXT575.
Heck yeah, thanks for the support! That level is not from Front Runner, I just found it at a hardware store. Just search "RV level". There's lots of options.
What’s the weight capacity on that rear window molle panel I plan on mounting a pro eagle 3 ton Kratos jack mount to that and I know the jack weights about 60 pounds
The only thing i see that i dont like is the propane being right next to an on top of your battery. Feels like its a little risky, and maybe an external propane mount with a cover would be better but, thats just me. You are welcome to do your build ANY way you want.
@ArkansasOffroad aww, yea... thats understandable. I mean, its pretty open n ventable. The chances of the propane not only leaking but maintaining sufficient quantities around the batteries with the plugs on to actually spark it is VERY low. In all likelihood, you are probably good. Maybe a cover over the propane could help reduce the risk?
molle panel for my gladiator - maybe I can cut this one if need be? Dude I have the deck system - Im going to do the same thing. I have a slide on top I'll sell, and I have the smart cap - I think you said you had that. I'll sell the cap. I ordered the box/tent. Im copying your ass like a little brother (except I'm 62 going on 25). I need that molle panel for my gladiator - can I use it???

Heck yeah, that’s awesome! Congrats!! Appreciate all of the support.
This build is just 🤤. The inspiration is insane, the plans for my build are all backwoods parts too!
Thanks so much! Let’s goooo 🔥

Nice! Yeah, sorry. It was a limited time run.
You got the best GFC set up I’ve seen. Good work!
Epic man! Absolutely love the GFC setup. Stoked for the panel launch!
Same!
Rewatching this now as I try to figure out how to set up the new truck bed, :D. Good seeing you at MOORE!
You too man!
Fantastic setup. Lots of thought in this setup. Good video! ❤👍🏻
Haircut looks good!
Thanks!
Great video & thank you for sharing your setup, I will definitely be borrowing some of your setup ideas on my rig.
Great setup. Love the sticker ‘No one cares that you Overland”

Super clean rig, and gear. I'll be checking out you websidte next.
Thanks so much for sharing. I'm interested to know how big your inverter is and how long it takes to charge your EcoFlow batteries.
Very nice setup 👍

Awesome setup!
Love your set up the job thanks a lot for sharing
Grad vid as usual. You’ve got a great set up and some great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate it!
I love the song at the beginning of the video

I’d prefer the half system like I had.
Rig is coming along nicely!🔥
Links to the seals used for the tailgate?
Thanks! Just added them to the description.
Good stuff

There’s a lot of little gaps! Pretty annoying. Here’s what I used.
@@ArkansasOffroad thank you!
Wondering which triangular bags you have in the frame?
Very nice setup bro. Great video
Thanks!
We are a new subscriber.. and was wondering if you had a build list?? wheel , suspension on up.. Love your videos..
I do! Check out my website. Thanks for subbing! www.arkoffroad.com
What are you using to hold the soap dispenser to the front of the drawer?
It was the bag that came with my ARB tire gauge
@@ArkansasOffroad Ahh. That’s why it looks familiar. Thanks for the response.
How did you modify the decked?
Hello ! Where can i buy GFC camper in Arkansas?

Hey brotha that bag you got your tent/awning stakes, trash bags zip ties. Where did you get that bag?
That was from a guy that works at GFC. He makes them on the side
What’s up grant , just got my decal yesterday, thank you. Do you have a link to the front runner level you have? I can’t find it on their website
Heck yeah, thanks for the support! That level is not from Front Runner, I just found it at a hardware store. Just search "RV level". There's lots of options.
Does your bed leak when wet?
Is it viable to use a manual taco for overlanding?
Why wouldn’t it be lol
Absolutely!
What’s the weight capacity on that rear window molle panel I plan on mounting a pro eagle 3 ton Kratos jack mount to that and I know the jack weights about 60 pounds
No real weight rating because it’s GFC’s camper, not ours. But I believe those well nuts are pretty strong
The only thing i see that i dont like is the propane being right next to an on top of your battery. Feels like its a little risky, and maybe an external propane mount with a cover would be better but, thats just me. You are welcome to do your build ANY way you want.
I can see your thinking. I thought about it, but don’t have a good exterior spot.
@ArkansasOffroad aww, yea... thats understandable. I mean, its pretty open n ventable. @@DatTacoGuy Good idea!
Do you have a video on the Decked delete?
Yeah, check out my first GFC video where I install it in my driveway.
What was that Jerry can water pump system?
It’s from Sandy Cats. I have a separate video on it

@@ArkansasOffroad appreciate your content..
With new owners buying their first GFC’s, why would you “Never make these again”?
LOL it's Overlanding everything is expensive... ain't that the truth!

Thanks,Amazon sucks
Nice set up but can you camp in it when weather is bad, including sleeping with out the tent, just in the inside ?
I've slept in it during thunderstorms and a nearby tornado. Did fine, just noisy.
