  • We start with a shootout in a square, the footage is obviously spliced again, although I probably should have cut it down a bit in hindsight. If you stay close to the entrance you can pick off targets like the Boomers more safely.
You have a split path, I prefer to take the inside buildings for easier kills. Only a few Wretches and a Theron Guard to contend with and a Drone. The courtyard enemies and Seeder can be taken out quickly form here too and then you have a few enemies until the end.
Chapter 2 has more early Cog TAGs so time stamp is accordingly. After you try to kick in the door an E-hole will spawn in the previous area, and after taking these forces out two Boomers will smash their way through creating an opening behind you.
Head into the Observatory for the return of the Berserker. I leave a death in with me not knowing what to do initially after it corners me. You need to lure it into the pillars to rip the roof open then use the Hammer of Dawn.
Turn on the sprinklers to put out the fire and find the next chapter.
Use the Hammer of Dawn early to conserve ammo, and this is one Chapter where I do use the Boomshot a bit down those narrow alleys to get a few kills, and there's multiple Boomers to get more ammo from.
I expend my Boomshot (almost a kill per shot though) early on in the next chapter and get back a Torque Bow/Lancer combo at the end There's better opportunities for the Torque Bow especially at the Troika and the early part of next chapter.
Ascend the long stairs with the assitance of a Torque Bow and use a Grenade or Torque Bow shot inside the mansion for an E-hole closure. I swap the Torque Bow out for a Gnasher for now, as the area of movement is smaller. Shoot furniture to deal with Locust hiding behind them and after stopping another E-hole look for a desk in a room with four pillars to find Cog TAGs inside. Head into the lab and after finding the secret door and attempting to open it the last chapter of the act begins.
As the name suggests, this is quite a slow level. Deal with the initial threat from the starting point and head into the lab to see the true extent of the Locust Tunnels. Now we have to regroup at the front of the house, the Gnasher helps, but I preferred the Longshot for making the end part easier.
There's not a lot enemies in the basement, but they can kill you quickly because of the cramped quarters. Quite a few Wretches ambush you when you enter the room with the four pillars, so stay back to deal with them.
Reach Cole and Baird at the top of the house and prepare to Grenade the front door to deal with most of the Locust that come pouring in through the chokepoint and then come slowly one at a time making it easy. Once they stop get to the top quick and Longshot the Boomer that comes bursting in.
Head through the back of the house and deal with the enemies in the courtyard area before heading out. Quickly Longshot the Boomers and when a timer appears rush for the end of the level. The group is seen leaving with a Brumak pursuing.
Funnily enough, on the original 360 release you didn't get to fight the Brumak, on the PC release and then Ultimate Edition you will get to fight it in an extended Act 5, which is the longest Act by a fair bit.
